Its not a downside, the vibrations. Its Italian quirks that comes with the bike because its made for italians and they love the way it is...its mainly due to longitudinal orientation of the engine

For the guys whom think there are better options from Harley etc, then you have never ridden a Guzzi. They are riders bikes and for guys whom don't need to be part of the herd.
I have no idea why the price point seems to be high where you are but here in Aust they are about $15-16k which is fair comparative to others.. Vibration from a Guzzi is part of its charm, its not an annoyance, its more of a throb, and it is showing you that there is a V twin sitting there. Think of it like riding a horse, there is that much character with them they feel alive.
The note is meaty, not just noise like some brands and nothing holds a line like a Guzzi through a corner. I am 6' and built like a rugby player and the pots don't get in the road of your knees, you sit comfortably behind them. They also do not get hot, thats why they sit out there in the breeze.
In reply to the guy whom said they (V9) were ugly, I thought the same until I saw them in the flesh a couple of times and sat on them. Will be test riding a Roamer next week as a weekend fun/ commuter type and if I could warrant another one as well I would buy a Griso which is pure testosterone.
Have had Japanese, Ducatis and ridden Beemers but now only Guzzis grace the garage.
Look at a Ducati as the weekend affair and a Guzzi as the life long love.
    Monza, Lemans, 1100 sporti, Bellagio.

I got V7 iii, it was a lovely bike. The vibration is a charm not annoy at all. More rev(below 7k) you put more smooth you get. Production quality improved over time, it's now a kind of art masterpiece.
I rode many Japanese bikes before but I put most milages to my Moto Guzzi in the same period of time. Only thing they should improve was their marketing communication.

I own a 2016 Motto Guzzi V7 II Stone. Love the bike ! It is currently in the shop awaiting confirmation from the Insurance company of the Bitch that ran into me (nearly killing me and doing massive damage to my Goose) to be repaired. Ok, now to my question for the maker of this video, I am contemplating purchasing a second motorcycle (so as to have two if one is down for service or w/e). I am considering the 2017/18 Triumph T-120 or possibly the Motto Guzzi V9 Roamer. In your opinion, of the two (yes not quite the same class between the the two of them I understand) which do you feel would be the better choice for a second bike (plan on keeping the V7 II Stone. Thanks

t120 is a better buy any day and has a better service network and electronics package. both these bikes are way overpriced and way too underpowered

yawn 55hp? Seriously my 1992 CB750 makes +20HP more and I am bored with it. MG seriously should produce bikes over 100HP to get some excitement.I get the whole "character" thing but afraid it may wear out quick...
Headlight looks plain and boring and based on owners inputs performs real bad at nights.I just feel MG like Ducati started making bikes just not worth buying not until they up the game.

These are quite lame compared to the offerings from Triumph n harley in the same price range. They are easily bested in looks, performance n heritage. GOD knows why someone will buy these fr 13L ex showroom
