Well done for getting it right: it's a longitudinal (or "in line") V twin. So many people say Guzzis are "transverse". In all other engine layouts, transverse/in line relate to the crank shaft, but for some daft reason, people often apply it to the cylinders on a Guzzi. I'm on my second Guzzi. Marvelous bikes.
The slight movement of the bike to the right when twisting the throttle is NOT due to the engine layout but due to the Cardan drive train ;-) That goes with every MG since ages... You get used to that.
nope. It`s even better than on other bikes as Long you are moving because the cylinders are out of the frame. They buy it like that sice 1921. Never was a Problem.
That price of 19lakh is more than double what it should be. For example in Canada the purchase price converted to rupees would equal 7.9lakh.....Thats quite a jump in price for import.
+Brian Kissoon well there are people in India who earn a crore a month-they can afford anything under the sun as long as it is different from the other Harleys floating around,I have seen some very rich guys having a fleet of cars and bikes, one or even two for each day,for them money is a non issue
I always liked Moto Guzzi. The problem in Canada is that the dealer network is very sparse. the closest one to me was 400 km away and it closed down. They still sell Aprillia and Honda.
Great review, once more from Autocar India. I am looking forward for a MotoGuzzi V7ii review by you... And even a hint about how it compares to the Ducati Scrambler. (I still can 't decide between these two bikes)
Your review wants me to trade in my 2006 Ducati sport classic for this so very beautiful moto guzzi Bella 👍 thank you so much from Los Angeles California
A cruiser that requires high octane-rating fuel is almost doomed in India. Most metros in the country have only a handful of petrol bunks that are regularly stocked with 97 octane or higher. While finding bunks that carry 93 for my 390 is a task in itself, I fail to understand why one would want a Guzzi Audace that needs 95 octane or higher but only produce 96 horses. One would be willing to accept the demand if the motorcycle's performance is extraordinary, but it is a very tall demand for the Guzzi's mediocre power rating.
+Krishnan Ravichandran I don't suppose you have too many Harley Davidson bikes in India. In America almost all bikes except for some Yamaha and Honda bikes require premium petrol.
This bike changes the way you think! All those view about agressive sittting posture and fast riding and handyness and wheelies and stoppies almost everything just flushes down into gutter! You just want to sell your assets to raise money and just buy the damn bike! 😍😍
@@a.j.8120 Ever heard of crash bars? I have laid my Guzzi down at speed when i hit ice on a dry cold night from a broken water main. With just front crash bars you will not damage the cylinders and with front and rear crash bars that bike would suffer no damage at all save for scuffing the crash bars themselves.
Umm... only premium fuel, that's a deal breaker. We all know how great fuel pumps are in the country with no quality control even actual premium fuel would have less octane than on paper normal fuel so good luck to all you bike enthusiasts out there touring on this beauty. Great review though.
I have to say I used to drool over Italian manufacturers but to be honest they are elitist. They skimp on quality because they go by on name alone. Japanese manufacturers are top in terms of providing both new technology with reliability. I also wish to see the day when TVS and Bajaj make it overseas here and build a name for India in the market.
Isn't it ridiculous that it rocks side to side when you accelerate ? Plus the Handle bar vibrations are a negative . This is not a practical machine at all . It's a trophy bike at best .
+akash gupta, please, if You never had a ride on a twin, don't talk about something you don't know... i'm riding Guzzis and BMW for more thant 20 years and still alive ;-) the phenomenon he's talking about is called "Torque effect" and he is abslolutely normal on every flat or facing the road twin... hope you will enjoy once ;-)
I've ridden hd fatboy with v twin engine and it didn't had the effect. It kinda look scary that the bike itself is forcing in different direction that's why i said so.
this bike is a shit with exposed engines on either sides, which means in case of a fall the engines can be wrecked. Extremely dumbest thing i have seen. the anchor may be excited, i did not like it a bit. some thinking makes sense when vehicles are designed.
I am amazed how many of you have no logical thinking at all! Crash bars are an inexpensive insurance policy that assure no damage will occur if you would just equip the bike with them. I know from experience and my bike with front and rear crash bars sustains no damage in the event of a lay down. I don't quite understand how this simple fact escapes so many commenting here.
Harley is stone age tech. Only the massive torque of a H.D. is impressive but they put out more heat than a Moto Guzzi because rear jug runs hot from no air flow on rear jug.

It's great to see the universal love of motorbikes.
Awesome review. The real craze for bikes can be felt in his words.

nope. It`s even better than on other bikes as Long you are moving because the cylinders are out of the frame. They buy it like that sice 1921. Never was a Problem.

Achintya Nath Sexena shut up
Brian, its made in Italy. So it is import to you too. I agree its cost twice as much as in US or canada...
Because in india it's 50% import tax on the value that's the reason the bike costs double for the consumer.
is it possible to import it from canada then ? :D

would be nice if the pipes growled just a little bit on acceleration
I loved the look of the bike it's just so amazing!!!!;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Can anyone tell the music at 6:57
i wonder if that shifting of bike on sides while revving is good or not..
i mean it should affect handling..
+Shantanu Singh, nope, She's very handy because of the very low center of gravity, its weight is very fast forgotten by running
you cant feel it rock to the right while riding. its smoother than a Harley.
awesome bike
The foot peg just kissed the road at 6:05
Which is the background music ?? I loved that too 👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻👈👈👈👈

Yet Moto Guzzi is one of the most reliable and longest lasting bikes on the road and engineered with conventional car like design and lay out.
if bike fall on either side, engine will take damage badley because engine heads are too out
royal ridedelhi but it will still work, and get you home ...with battle scars :-)
Don’t drop it !
A set of crash bars solves that problem.
In canada it is priced 7.9 lac
Shabeena Kaisar really in inr?7.9 lakh
if it falls oneside i guess the engine is fucked up !!
very nice motorcycle
this is better then Harley Davidson Night rod
1of the best..
Wow bike
why doesnt anyone review a rocket3
but if i compare Moto Guzzi Audace with Triumph ROCKET III ROADSTER then who will win ? :D
No doubt it will be ROCKET lll ROADSTER 😍
Lol I know it :) (y)
+robe rocks 😂
You are not getting the Triumph for the price of this Moto Guzzi. So the only thing they have in common is their bulk.
did they just beep #badass ? whaaaaaa
awesome bike but if given that much money i would buy a car instead for rainy days and cold winter days
even with a pric etag like that many buy
Dude I m loving my Intercepter 650

Sumedh Vaishampayan the rocking settles down once you’re riding along :-)
The rocking and the vibration are only at idle. Neither are a factor when riding at all.

Am I the only one who watches the reviews for the beau serenity in the background? 😅
i think zx14 is still better than this. how can you praise awkwardly place engine and disbalance produced by it, it could be lethal while riding.
hey, the engine is placed longitudinally and there wont be imbalance beacause of the bigger tires and the front fork.
He himself said in the video when bike starts it nudges towards right and this could be very lethal for such a heavy bike

I DONT FIND IT CUTE ... ITS MUSCULAR
its not for kids
BRO ... I own a duke 390
And I Am 25
size matters
well cruisers aren't cute, they always are bulky
a tractor from M&M will be more comfortable from this
+jagan mohan reddy jagan, nope, sh'es very surprising about comfort !
It sounds like autorickshaw. My Harley is much better.
a harley will never be better than a Moto Guzzi. Guzzi = Premium. Harley = Blingbling
Harley is stone age tech. Only the massive torque of a H.D. is impressive but they put out more heat than a Moto Guzzi because rear jug runs hot from no air flow on rear jug.
superb..!!!
