What is ASMR? It is both a sensation and a medium.
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer.
Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.

Indeed, Schade is quite relaxing. How he takes a simple prop and turns it into an entire persona is amazing.

I read the wiki for Corvus, and his black and brown masks are for when he's focusing on the patient more, and the white one is for focusingbon work. There has also a green mask, red mask and purple mask that has been seen in a video. Supposedly.

It's nice to see him doing something creative and helpful with his multiple personality disorder.
This makes it a new upload like every day for what a week so far? The effort that goes into these videos is immense & it shows I've been watching & listening since "ASMR of a salesmen" some time ago & it's really nice to see Rifts personal growth & growth as a creator.
Keep it up, you've set the standard for ASMR pretty high & you occasionally raise the bar, I'm very happy to say I've had many great naps as a result of your videos.
(Could we get more repair man? I also really enjoyed the contrast of the 3, worked wonderfully this could have easily been split into three videos but I assume you wanted to push the creative boundaries) you did great.
This kept me laughing all the way through. The timing and editing of the scenes was well constructed and ended up more amusing than if each scene were watched on their own without cuts. I think the laughter may have helped me experience tingles more effectively as well, is that a thing? Either way a great video that has helped me unwind.

i love the jumpcuts. reminds me of a drama movie when its going through a montage of all the appointments or sessions a character has to go through as the tension builds up. idk its really hard to describe, but well done, ER.

Sherlockian deduction time: Rift filmed Dr. Shade's part first, then Batman, then Corvus. How do I know? Corvus's hands are smudged, while Dr. Shade's aren't. He filmed Dr. Shade's part, then Batman, when his fingers got stained, and then Corvus, when those stains were still visible. Elementary, my dear Riftheads.

I really like this style. Sometimes it's hard for me to stay focused with your longer videos, but switching up the characters intermittently makes it a lot easier. Also keeps any of the individual triggers from losing their potency after a while.

Very clever video Mr Rift. Honestly... those who have a short attention span and get bored of a single theme in a few minutes (like myself) will find this video easier to watch. I found myself waiting to hear what each character was going to do next but entertained by the current character at the same time. Thank you for making these videos man.
