Matthew's Whole Bible Way of Life

What can we learn from Matthew's Gospel? A whole lot. One thing we can learn is how to be "Whole Bible" people, recognizing Jesus as the fulfillment of God's story, and responding in faith. Matthew grounds his telling of Jesus's story firmly in the Old Testament, bridging the stories of Torah, Writings, and Prophets directly to Jesus's mission and the new way of being human he offers.

Every time I listen to and watch Prof Tom Wright speaking about the Bible I am encouraged by both his erudite thoroughness and his pastoral and personal approach to Christian faith. His books are deeply researched and combine very well with his lectures, too, I think.
