In this video, we choose the roster for Disney Smash Bros Brawl!! We have based our picks on the original roster of Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Nintendo Wii, finding Disney replacements for Meta Knight, Pit, Zero Suit Samus, Wario, Snake, Ike, Pokémon Trainer (Squirtle, Ivysaur & Charizard), Diddy Kong, Lucas, Sonic, King Dedede, Olimar, Lucario, R.O.B, Toon Link and Wolf!

This is of course just a dream roster as there is currently no talk of Disney making it's own platform fighter like Smash Bros. But with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and MultiVersus out now too, surely it's only a matter of time before we get a Smash Bros style platform fighting game with Disney Characters! Also, having Sora from Kingdom Hearts as the final DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate could show Disney how much the fans would love to have a Disney Smash Bros!

Disney have been doing their own versions of lots of Nintendo games recently with Disney Speedstorm being like Mario Kart and Disney Dreamlight Valley being like Animal Crossing... Surely Super Smash Bros is next!? A Disney Platform Fighter is needed!!

While not a movie or show, Club Penguin seems like a suitable stand in for the Mii Fighters.
Just like the Miis there could be multiple character classes too, so you could choose between being a PSA Secret Agent, Card-Jitsu Ninja, or Puffle Owner. Each class could have customizable moves as well, so the agent would have different gadgets, the ninja would use different elemental attacks, and Puffle owner would be assisted by different Puffles and their favorite toys.
Maybe the ToonTown characters as well

I like that. And even in terms of a voice acted game it would work thanks to the animated shorts CP did.

I have 3 ideas.
1: Remy as Pac-Man, they both are fast and like to eat a lot
2: Club Penguins as mii fighters, they both are extremely customizable and maybe one of there attacks could be throwing a snowball
Villager: Anne Boonchoy (I spelled the last name wrong) Villager likes exploring and is mostly the only human just like Anne.
Palutena: someone from either the owl house, amphibia, or gravity falls
I think, for Palutena, either Hera from Hercules could be a good fit to match with Pit's Hercules or Selene from DuckTales 2017 would fit as well.
And Shulk could be replaced with Mowgli
Also Frollo could be Sephiroth.

Idea: For Pyra/Mythra, Dipper and Mabel Pines. Both are two related people with wildly different personalities. Dipper could use spells from the journal, his box of pictures of Wendy, and the leaf blower from the first episode. Mabel could use the grappling hook, use Several Timez to attack, and spray paint in the opponents eyes.
Along with that, Isabelle could be Pluto. Both are blonde dogs that don’t want hurt anyone, so he could just use dog toys to attack
I had another idea. This time for Bowser Jr.
The 7 Drawfs-Each Drawft serving as a skin, and the 8th one losely being based on Snow White
And then for Bayonetta you could do Ursula because they are both technically witches
I could see Zelda bring replaced by Snow white since in Smash Brawl Zelda is a brunette I think

Honestly, the Madrigal's slot is genius!!! 🎉
I'll be honest, I'm not vibing with some of these choices, but especially with Olimar being Buzz. I'm not really a fan of the "well they're both tiny spacemen" thing, I think it should be more so them PLAYING similar to the character.
My personal choice? Tinkerbell. She's small, so fitting with Olimar, and instead of throwing Pikmin, she can throw found items (a callback to her movies), for instance a battery that shocks the opponent similar to the Yellow Pikmin. Her costumes could be references to the other Fairies. Final Smash? Maybe Tink could invent some machine that grabs the opponent and takes them away, or she sprinkles them with pixie dust to send them flying. And obviously, her stage would be Pixie Hollow.
That being said though, I did really like some of these character ideas, and I even had some that I wasn't sold on initially, but hearing how they'd play made me go "Yeah, that makes sense."
This was a good selection, we finally get Disney tv show characters, Pixar and we got characters from both old and newer movies
Choices I have for assist trophies are
Zurg; He uses his blaster at opponents
Camilo: He shape shifts into the fighter that summons him
Lightning Macqueen: Runs over people or takes them off stage
Sparky (from lilo and stitch show): uses his electricity power to zap people
Phantom Blot: uses his gauntlet from duck tales 2017 to attack people
Remy: makes food that the fighter can eat
Professor Callahan: Uses his microbots to attack or trap people
YOKAI
Professor Callahan: Appears, yells “THAT WAS HIS MISTAKE!” and then despawns

It would be cool if Sulley had a scare meter; think of it like this, the more damage he deals, the fuller the canister gets. By the time the canister is full, you can use it as a projectile if you aim up or down, or use it like a neutral attack to hiss and blow up on the enemies.

The one I thought for the Miis was getting a Penguin from Club Penguin, with each Mii Class representing a different side of the game. There could be a regular penguin that uses moves based on the more basic minigames, a Ninja Penguin using all of the moves from the card minigame, and the Spy Penguin using different gadgets and the like. Also the Miis in Smash clearly reuse moves from other characters in the game, so perhap the same could apply here (for instance, Spy Penguin could be based slightly on Darkwing Duck and Kim Possible)

It’s been awhile but it was worth it: the choices for third party characters were ok - I honestly didn’t notice touchstone pictures was part of Disney. But Jack was an interesting choice since he did appear in Disney infinity and kingdom hearts. As for Dash ok - I hope we get the rest of the incredibles family for Smash 4/Ultimate.

I think that the Miis can reference older Disney games like the avatars from Toontown Online, Club Penguin, Disneyland Adventures, Pixar Rush, or others. My favorite pick is definitely the Disney Universe avatars that you can dress up in costumes of Disney characters and they had weapons like a sword, laser guns, bombs, and other wacky powerups that you got while playing stages (a very underrated game imo)
I think it'd be fun to have Tigger in Greninja's place due to their shared jumping (I mean bouncing) ability.
Greninja could be Perry The Platypus, since they are great fighters. We see Perry fight Dr Doofenshmirtz all the time and Greninja literally has the word ninja in his name lol. I also think Rosalina & Luma could be Phineas and Ferb since they are a duo :)

Or, you could have the Miis be... Miis. But only if the game is on a Nintendo console. There was a 3DS game where you could have your Mii interact with Disney characters. I think the Xbox also has avatars, so that would be a good alternative for Xbox. Don't know what to do about PlayStation, though...

@@EdizAndBen if you look into each attraction, they are all mini games where you take on different appearances. For example, for buzz light years Astro blasters, you become a space ranger with a blaster gun.
Cloud has to be Luke skywalker! Cloud was not only a third party character but one who no one expected ever! Just like when Disney bought Star Wars, it’s all connected. And ofc have Sephiroth be Darth Vader
Assist trophy Ideas
Andross-> The big bad wolf from the short (self-explanatory, its memorable and a fairly important part of Disney history but doesn't have much to make a moveset)
Dr. Wright-> Fairy Godmother (Cinderella probably warrants a cameo and she could shapeshift parts of the stage)
Excitebike-> Sugar rush racers (obvious)
Gray Fox-> Taran from the sword in the stone (Would make for a cartoony sword swing and beams which seems more in line with disney and he alone doesn't have that much other to warrant his own roster slot)
Infantry and Tanks -> The rest of the Chinese army from Mulan (Making cartoonified be a man sounds play when they spawn alongside cartoony explosions makes this feel better than just the soldiers of toy story)
Isaac -> Luz Noceda from Owl house is a magic user with a limited range of spells she also uses in a variety of ways. Also, being a TV show character means she may be passed over as a spot in the main roster
Kat and Anna-> Meeko and Flit because its some non-controversial Pocahontas representation and having them fight over the stage as a pair just seems to fit in
Little Mac -> Baloo because he's a popular character but quite plain and hard to make a full moveset for, so he can just replace a punchy guy
Lyn -> Hector Barbosa (he has a one-hit kill move with his poisoned sword, and somehow has appeared in all POTC movies in some fashion)
Metroid -> Remy from Ratatouille (Jumps on the head of the character and makes them control all incorrectly rather than damage them)
Nintendog -> Pluto (he's just a dog, but it's also a little strange to not have all of the classic mickey and friends lineup)
Waluigi -> Chick Hicks (if you consider Cars to be a sports franchise, this is a pretty decent way to integrate them without using a cars representative to fill a slot of a thing that rushes forward or launches missiles to remind us of the thing that was cars 2)

If you guys are doing second and third party now, I recommend splitting the Pokémon into Disney animals and Muppets. I mainly say this to see Kermit as Greninja, but I do feel like that would make for some really fun interactions.
Duck Hunt Duo should be either Fox and the Hound or Bolt, Mittens and Rhino.
I know this is a deep cut, but it would be cool to see a Mousercise reference within Wii Fit Trainer's equivalent.

Rosalina/Luma: Snow White and the dwarfs- Have the dwarfs act like the lumas in that they attack when Snow White attack. She can also maybe she could throw them or use them as a counter
Mii Fighters-Dreamlight valley/Wreck it ralph 2 internet avatars- Both of them can be very bare boned characters which easily be changed costume or move-set wise
Pac Man-Kermit the Frog: It seems out of left field but here me out: Both of them are mascots in their own right, and muppets don’t really FEEL like a disney property, so it could sort of feel like a third party. Kermit can hit people with his banjo, maybe send out Animal to claw his oppenents, and use Gizmos cannon as a recovery

What if for the Madrigals like how Pokémon trainer changes from the boy and girl trainer it could change between Mirable's team and Abuela's team where they have the same moves but different styles so for Antonio on Mirables team there can be Camilo who can shapeshift into different characters to give him a advantage and to Match with Antonio's animals like turning into Luisa to make him stronger, for Isabela on Mirable team there could be Pepa with her weather powers and they can get more stronger the more damage she takes representing how her emotions are getting more and more out of control, and I'm not sure what character could be Luisa on Abuela's team maybe it can be Bruno with his rats or future vision I'm not sure. 😅 But anyways love this episode and you guys and can't wait for the next Video! I'm glad that I've finally (almost) caught up with this series from you guys. This is my first introduction to your channel and I really loved your idea for a Disney Smash Bros. game, so I just had to see what characters you'd choose to put in your future videos. But here are some of my ideas for Disney Smash 4 characters:
Villager - Phineas from Phineas and Ferb. When thinking about Villager, I looked up what the gameplay in Animal Crossing was like, and since there's no main objective or endgame throughout all of the series and the main things you do in the game are outdoor-sy activities, such as bug catching, fishing, planting, collecting items, and talking to the animal characters in the town. Since these are such diverse activities that the Villager does throughout the games and within his own moveset, then I was thinking of having a character from a TV show. Why? Because in a TV show, there are many opportunities for characters to go into different environments, especially in kids shows where new parts of the world are explored and taught to children about. So, the only Disney TV show character I could think of (since I have a very limited knowledge of Disney TV shows) was Phineas, a character who wants to do many things all in the span of the summer vacation. And in the summer, there's a lot to do outside. So, I'm thinking of Villager's moveset except replaced with gadgets that Phineas has created. Another idea I had was Dipper from Gravity Falls, however I've never seen the show and only came up with the idea that instead of regular outdoorsy attacks, or gadgets, Dipper could have mythical or supernatural artifacts to use for his moveset, but then again, I haven't seen the show, so I dunno what else he could do in replacement of Villager's attacks.
Megaman - Baymax from Big Hero 6. Okay, if you don't use Baymax _again_ then that's gonna be a wasted opportunity. The comments have already mentioned that Baymax would've been a much better character for Kirby instead of Mulan, since he actually has the ability to copy attacks. But it's alright since you now have a second chance to put Baymax in the game, in replacement of Megaman, a character who's entire moveset derives from the many different villains he's defeated and then taken the powers of. Although Baymax on his own, doesn't really need a whole bunch of copied abilities since he's got enough attacks from the film and tv show for him to have a complete moveset. But Baymax might as well have a copy ability for the sake of Kirby and Megaman.
For Wii Fit Trainer, and the rest of the characters I guess, I have no solid idea for what Disney characters could replace them, I kinda put all my thought and effort into the first two characters XD But as a general idea for Wii Fit Trainer, I'm thinking an original character, made by Disney, that isn't actually part of a proper movie or TV show, but rather a mascot for any kind of Disney sub-brands. I have no clue of any original character, mascots for Disney, but that's my idea as a parallel for Wii Fit Trainer, since she's an original character that's the mascot for Wii Fit (a game that isn't technically a game) created by Nintendo. Which is why her inclusion in Smash 4 was such a surprise, and in the game, she uses attacks from the game she represents.
So, at the top of my head, these are all of the ideas I had. I can't really think about anything else for the rest of the characters. Maybe for PAC-MAN, an equally old character like Oswald, and for Duck Hunt Duo, gotta be some old Disney dog character with a sidekick. But yeah, I'll read the comments and find what other people's ideas were for your next video, to see if they fit mine.
Edit: Just finished watching your assist trophy video and... Professor Owl sounds like the perfect parallel for Wii Fit Trainer according to my description 😂. But hey, Prof could pull a Little Mac and become a playable character in the next game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (but he won't be the parallel to Little Mac, it's gotta be a character that either actually fits him or his melee playstyle)
But looking back at the Smash 4 cast and the character after Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma, I was thinking of, obviously, a Disney Princess rep. The main themes of Rosalina is: space, magic, very powerful and royal, almost motherly instincts towards her Lumas, and her Luma sidekick which is the biggest part of her moveset. However, I don't think there's that many princesses that fit any of those qualities. And not unless you're thinking of using a fairy like the Fairy Godmother or Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, an idea that came to mind was, Snow White. No, Snow White is not magic, or has anything to do with space, BUT, she does have a lot of comapanions at her disposal, the many woodland creatures she calls upon by singing, and of course, the Seven Dwarves. I haven't seen Snow White, so I'm not sure if she has any other abilities or objects she can use as weapons for attacks or specials.
I may be thinking ahead, but I might as well bring out the next two candidates for Ultimate. Alongside Will, I know who should replace Dark Samus and Incineroar!
Royal Pain and Warren Peace!
Dark Samus is basically a powerful entity and she looks more advanced than her original counterpart.
Gwen's an exprienced technopath who can use any kind of device to her advantage! Her most notable weapon is the Pacifier. One zap can revert anyone back to their infancy.
No way am I letting anyone harm any babies in this game. Uh uh. So here's the next best thing! The pacifier can shrink the opponents down in size! Thus, making them more vulnerable to powerful attacks. But should the pacifier be destroyed while she fights, Royal Pain herself will also fall victim to her own plan! And it'll take a little bit before the effects of the pacifier wears off.
Now, as for Warren's case! Incineroar's a fire type Pokemon who's well versed in close quartered combat. Wrestling's his strong suit.
So for Warren, he's a versatile pyromancer! He can ignite his arms to dish out extra damage! There's even a small chance of him slightly burning the opponent! He can even turn himself into a fireball when he recovers! I'm telling you, there's so much you could play with for Sky High! A lot of superpowers as of late managed to expand greatly. Again, I know it's early, but I'm absolutely positive in bringing these two for Ultimate!

Pac-Man- Figment! (Disneyland/world representative) Pac-Man is shown to summon random items, like Ghosts, fire hydrants, and even in his taunts he is shown to make items appear, So Figment, being all about imagination, can imagine items that conveniently damage enemies.
Shulk- Luke Skywalker, The sword is the lightsaber, and instead of using the monado for speed, strength, etc, he just uses the force. For an alt, it can be Old Luke, and Rey

The next time you make a video like this, in addition to all the moves and stages and final smashes, could you list the characters statistics, strengths, and weaknesses. On the wiki, they describe characters statistics such as running speed, traction, recovery, grappling, etc.
For example, Mickey Mouse, like Mario, would be a well balanced, middleweight fighter who can adapt, but lacks in the special moves department.
Or with Kim Possible who is an agile light heavyweight fighter with an above average jump, but lackluster power and recovery.
Please give it some thought.

They both use a lot of gadgets and could use the game pieces from skidly wiffers instead of the clown car. He could use a baseball gun like his cannon. On top of that the koopalings could be Ferb Isabella Bueferd Baljeet Stacy Erving and Candice
If Pixar count as second party than characters like Buzz Lightyear and Sulley should have been in day one.

Hear me out, for the next game in face of wii fit trainer we need a weird pick. Something off the wall , a mascot representing sports, there's only one thing that came to my mind. Jay, the Jetix Mascot. The grey and red mascot the was made for the more extreme and action based cartoons. If you don't remember what I'm talking about give it a quick Google. Also look at all the commercial Jay cutaways for the moveset and inspo.
For bowser jr. I want toodles. He could use some of his mouseketools as weapons. He could have different alts like goofles, Quoodles and he can have alt where he doesn’t have his face. His final smash would be mouseketool mayhem where he unleashes all his mouseketools on one individual.
Well for me a good stand-in for sonic, could be Spider-Man, because they have similar attitudes and the same color scheme, red and blue.
I think for Lucario that Randall from Monsters Inc would have made a better choice
my choice for Lucario was Yen Sid as they both have magic powers

So here is my hypothetical roster for the new characters in the next game:
Villager- Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls. Both have strange items on them, plus Gravity Falls is one of the more popular TV Shows.
Megaman- I think TRON would be an excellent replacement, he could throw discs, use his light cycle,
Wii Fit Trainer- Mary Poppins, since she is practically perfect in everyway. Or alternatively Troy Bolton from High School Musical, since he is also related to sports.
Rosalina- I think Remi and Linguini from Ratatouille would be a cool idea. Linguini could act like Rosalina and send Remi out to deal damage while he stays behind.
Little Mac- Mr. Incredible, I mean he punches stuff, who else could it be?
Greninja- I think either Tiana, or possibly Mr. Toad would work since both are actual frogs. Not to mention Mr. Toad could has a lot of potential in his moveset from his motor car to a ball and chain.
Mii Fighters- Phineas and Ferb might be a good pick.
Palutena- Hades, since he is an actual god, and has both fire, potions, and Pain and Panic to use in attacks.
Pac-Man- Kermit the Frog. He is a property Disney owns, and both have charming personalities! Or Kermit could be a replacement for Greninja IDK.
Robin- Ian Lightfoot from Onward, or Jafar. Both have a plethora of magic at their disposal.
Shulk- Bruno might be one option if your going for prophecy, but alternatively you could just choose the Genie since he can use multiple powers.
Bowser JR.- I think the 7 Dwarves could be a great replacement from the other Koopalings, and each dwarf could be an alternate skin.
Duck Hunt Duo- Pluto, NO DUH
Ryu- I think if we are going for just 3rd party characters then Jake Sulley from Avatar would be perfect.
Cloud- Homer Simpson. Cloud is from a more mature game, the Simpsons are a more mature cartoon. Not to mention Springfield would be a great stage.
Corrin- Jake Long American Dragon or Mushu. They are all LITERAL DRAGONS.
Bayonetta- Either Cruella De Ville or the Sanderson Sisters. Cruella could use some moves from Both the animated film and live action feature.
The Miis could be new animation styles for each class

My reason is because Pete does not have a son, so Mortimer is the only character that also hates Mickey that regularly appears in the franchise
EDIT: turns out he has a son, but he appeared mainly in Goof Troop. So I’m worried he might not know who Mickey is or know him enough to hate him lol.
Little Mac: Mr Incredible
Think about it. There both really strong and both can probably knock you out in one punch.

I originally thought of Miss Bianca and Bernard because they also had a duo, but there the same animal. So I went with these two from the Fox and the Hound

How would eda fight anyway? Would she be in her Season1 or season2 design? Cuz in season2, she lost her powers. Maybe both, she could use spells, she can throw her hands, using explosion bottles, using her pailsmen as a weapon, and summoning hootys out the ground (from ep5) final smash. She becomes harpy eda.
Also luz would be in the game using gypths.
I think Meg from Hercules would fit well as Bayonetta. I also think Tiana from Princess and the frog would be great for Greninja.

Little Mac = Grumpy from Snowhite and the Seven Dwarfs. If Snowhite where to ever have a representative I think Grumpy fits the best, because he does not seem afraid to throw hands, and there is probably many ways to make him fit here. The charge meter can be his grumpyness taking over.
Rosalina & Luma = Linguini and Remy from Ratatouille. While in the original it's the big gal controll the small one, this time we do a uno reverse card and it's the small guy controlling the big guy. Could be a very fun duo function.
Bowser Jr = Flik. Now, Bowser Jr basically uses a lot of gadgets, and we can see that Flik also uses tons of gadgets in his film. Both are small, and it's difficult to cast anyone for BJr IMO.
Greninja = Tigger is quite bouncy and will go well with the fact that Pooh is another Pokémon.
Robin = Raya. Not only does this help with the sword/weapon using, but also due to the dragon aspects I guess that goes for mystical/magic as Robin has.
Palutena = Kida from Atlantis. She wealding a weapon and casting spells fits very well with the swap. Kida also does give a bit of a "godess" vibe.
Wii Fit Trainer = Pocahontas, both are very agile, and Wii Fit use a lot of gadgets/things which would work with Pocahontas.
Shulk = Mowgly. Both are in underware, and the Monado could be Mowgly eating fruit to promote healthy eating lol and to be like "strenght", "speed", etc.
Pac-Man = 22 from Soul. Both are ancient in lore, and both kind of have something to do with ghosts. Also as random as Pac-Man's moves can come across, it does fit with Soul 22 trying to find her place in the univers, and as the ghosts from Pac-Man tries to catch her, so does other souls when she tries to escape.
Dark Pit = The Horned King. I do not know fully how, but it is time for some Disney 'obscure' villains to shine. I think he could fit perfectly here.
Lucina = Elizabeth Swan. Fits perfect as Jack being Marth. Plus some more female representation.
Ryu = Tarzan. Now, Ryu is mostly a fighter, and Tarzan is a very strong individual, the difference here is that the Hadouken could be Tarzan throwing a spear. Other than that I see nearly a carbon copy.
Cloud = José Carioca from The Thre Caballeros. He might not have a sword, but he has his trusted umbrella. The limit meter can be some sort of charge special as well. Just really want the trio to round out.
Corrin = Jake Long. If you can have Kim Possible, then it should open for some obscure, but very popular Disney original shows. Now, what is Corrin? A half human, half dragon! What is the American Dragon Jake Long? Well, exactly the same. Could incorporate different things, as he knows kung-fu, and the dragon action is just frosting on the cake.
Bayonetta = Panchito Pistoles. Well, what are Bayonetta's biggest traits? Guns, or rather ... Pistols. That's one e away from being Pistoles, so here we go, a funny clucking shooter to round out the infamous 3.
Mii = Could be Huey, Dewey and Louie, each being one of the respected Mii's making them all three shine and unique, while also bare some sort of similarities. If there is to be another "duck" representation then I believe they are the last ditch effort that deserves the spot, and for the Mii fighters? Absolutely. With all the gadgets, water guns, and tricks they have had up their sleeves all these years then it could easily work.
Villager = Inside Out emotions. Villager is no specific character but a bunch of avatars coming together doing "normal" things, and what are normal? Having emotions. You guessed it, just feel the burn, and jump around in Joy.
I’m only up to Snake/Jack Skellington in the video and I gotta say, lots of the choices so far have solid! Dumbo really sticks out as a character nobody would’ve expected nor asked for just like Pit and both of their abilities when it comes to how they Fly, Darkwing Duck and Scrooge McDuck are fantastic! And Kim Possible makes a great stand in for Zero Suit Samus!

Rosalina and luma should be remy and linguini, where remy’s default is on top of linguinis head but some attacks he jumps off, the final smash could either be a bunch of rats running, remy running through their clothes like he did to linguini at the beginning of the movie, or he throughs them in a giant pot. I just think this would be a cool idea since there aren’t a lot of pixar characters and these 2 are the perfect representation of remy and linguini
Also, when you end up doing Smash Bros. Ultimate, just keep Sora, it's perfect.
If I had to choose for Little Mac, I would go with Mr. Incredible because they are both characters that can punch really quick and they both have black friends (Frozone and Doc Louis, respectively).
