2009 and they still ROCK the house!
I was at this show. Madison Wisconsin. It was amazing.
Wow!!! This is one of the best bands of all time! Timeless, powerful and 30 years on this is still absolutely awesome.
I was 4 when this was released. The one and only thing I have to thank my dad for is introducing me to Fleetwood Mac. Hope they come to the UK on their latest tour - I'll be there!!!!
Och, simple: since I was born, the last fast part of The Chain, led by John's bass line has always been the opening soundtrack for any F1 Grand Prix, speaking for the BBC of course. That's it, lad!
Old school, Murray Walker still alive, no kers no drs no tilkodrom, true engine V10 3.5 or 3.0. True pilots with stallion eggs.
WOW! They ROCK!!! ...I wish I had been there. Lindsey is absolutely amazing!!
"The song always gives me goosebumps...because when it ends, I begin " - Murray Walker
Интро на британском ТВ. К сожалению Марри больше нет с нами
Way back when they came to edinburgh and I was there they were awesome !!!!!
I've loved Fleetwood Mac for over 30 years.
Like an old wine. Keeps getting better... older... better , GENIAL !!!!
Damn Stevie's voice is strong and powerful here! Love it.

I was there! AWESOME!
SUPER!
AWESOME!
A personal ode to Gilles Villeneuve R.I.P.
For all us Brits (I'm a half-Scot), this tune is totally linked to F1, and I suppose I'll never be able to take this tune off that horrible scene at Zolder, Belgium, where Gilles was simply scattered everywhere after that horrible crash.
But this is part of this song's charm as well.
It just grabs you and throws the whole truth in front of you, no way out.
It is DRAMATIC. And I love drama.
Murray Walker British broadcast 90s is beginning... Intro from The Chain by Lindsay's guitar and drums... Eeeee boy
WOW!!!!
WHOA!!! Nosebleed section.... (passes out)
Are you still going on about this? Let it go, pal. I have. I'd forgotten all about it until I saw my inbox.
Fantastic song, just brilliant. My only qualm is that I wish they'd turn the volume on John's base up a bit higher...maybe it's as high as it could go, I don't know, but that base riff is so dam good that it needs to be given greater scope imo, and I had trouble hearing it with the same precision that came from Lindsey's guitar.
@JackRabbitSlim Can answer this one for you having played live and been recorded: Its set up for a "live" setting, so it would have been very very loud if you were in the audience but it doesn't come across as much in recordings then. If you were professionally recording this you'd take it from the desk to get the bass and drum setting especially as they'd be fuzy otherwise.
@RexKarrs exact same feeling I have
"Gilles was simply scattered everywhere" is pretty self-explanatory. No mention of the car at all. I stand by my original post. And of course body parts can be detached in motor accidents.
does anyone know where i can find the filmed version of this !? it came out in the live in boston CD
@Lisa24692002 They were inducted in 1998.
@Lisa24692002 yes they are..
GV wasn't "scattered everywhere", he was thrown against a fence in one piece. Please don't denegrate someone's death by making it look like some visual spectacle.
do you have STAND BACK from this night?
That's interesting! I'm an F1 fan but still don't catch why you Brits (at least you) link "The Chain" to F1? Looks like the words are related to a couple not to motor racing.
@Lisa24692002 ye im pretty sure they are
gag the crowd who yell in mid song .. spoils it for the rest of us.
@prowler609 then what's the point of going to a rock concert?
Oh come on... don't be so stuck to words, come on, man... if you're gonna trust me then you know I know Gilles wasn't scattered anywhere, if you don't trust me what shall I do then?
Nothing. So let's end this weird fight right now, come on...
Oh, nae worries then, I thought I had done some harm when I didn't mean to, aye?
Settled down so.
Stevie isn't fat, just because she has curves!
Hey, hey, laddie, I was referring to Gilles' car to be honest, I thought it would be clear, how come any person be "scattered" all over a certain place, come on?
"Degenerating"... if you loved Gilles you'd never degenerate, and trust people when they talk about the guy and also remind how fascinating that dangerous world is indeed, let's not be hypocrites, Gilles would agree.
@bearmare she purchased a shorter dress....
@bearmare
maybe an evil gym teacher caught her and forced her to run laps and listen to miley cyrus and if she ware heels she would fall :(
@camfroghoofy Yeah, that's why going to concerts just makes me furious... I can't freaking listen to the music!...Arrhgh...
Looks like Stevie ate the warm up band
