I've asked myself the same thing too when I first saw this, but then I realized that that whole scene is meant to represent a nightmare that Alfred had ^^
@Count Monsparkle Thank you so much for uploading this musical! I am familiar with Total Eclipse of the Heart in English, but never knew about this show! So far, I am loving it! Also, I think German is the perfect language for it!
Count Monsparkle yes I just finished it, could you recommend me another musical like rock opera type maybe if you know something else i found one from russia I believe is Juno and avos but i don't undertand a lot haha well i want to ask you, who is that red hair woman who lives with the family the one who is bitten for the father of Sarah?
That first song had the same melody as "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" didn't it? Or was I just hearing things? In any case, this musical is fun to watch!
It is "Total Eclipse of the Heart". They guy who wrote the song, Jim Steinmann, also created this musical, and he decided to use the song here as well ;-)
the english translation is really amazing, because its a wonderful language but even the poetic english cannot fully capture all of the emotions from the german version...just my opinion. and I'm well aware that german is not perfect for songs rythm-wise
@@rrruby1377 I love to hear German versions of songs. :) To me, German language sounds so dramatic that it works beautifully for anything that needs to sound intense. I think it enhances the effect.
Total eclipse of the heart my fav song for years except for my sister she likes ummm Idk. But this song is my fav😘😏😆😆😆😆😆😍 Sing all the time Love my fav song YAY! Im so glad this song is part of this musical! Even the lyrics isn't the same as the original but the instrumental does
I hope it was surprising for you to find out that this song originally comes from this musical ^^ And the lyrics had to be altered in order to make sure everything still rhymes and sounds good. That's the case for any song that is translated into another language.
Hello. I just wanted to ask you if by chance you know where and when this show was performed? :) I'm collecting different versions of this musical and I wanted to archieve this one properly :) I would be very grateful for help :)
I never understood, in the song "feel the night", Sarah and Alfred are bitten (by who? this isn't Krolock I think) but...Alfred isn't a vampire :/ I don't understand this part ^^" (sorry for my very bad english, I'm belgian ^^")
... how can anyone sleep in this place? Between the freaking ghouls pulling gymnastics and snoring bedmates, Alfred must be narcoleptic.
I've asked myself the same thing too when I first saw this, but then I realized that that whole scene is meant to represent a nightmare that Alfred had ^^
Count Monsparkle - Yep, Herbert be messing with our boy’s dreams. As for the snoring, Alfred’s probably just used to it.
Total Eclipse is so beautiful towards the end with the symphony, it makes me cry...
Carpe Nocturne is just a sensory overload...
The perfect kind...
most long and convoluted 'total eclipse of the heart' cover/parody i've ever seen. nett!

Probably it's in Hamburg around 2003. I can only tell by the cast. Jessica Kessler is playing Sarah here - and that was in Hamburg 2003.
@@Juciejuc Thank you for answering :)
I saw these upload by someone else before and the description said that this was the show on 10.Nov.2005 in Hamburg (Neue Flora).

It's meant as a nightmare Alfred has, but I understand how it's confusing. And your english is fine =)
Thank you :D I watched the movie too to understand but this part wasn't in it ^^" So thanks a lot, I understand now :D
