It's quick, easy, and most importantly, absolutely delicious, making it perfect for those busy weeknight dinners or meal prepping for the busy week ahead. The beef delivers a delicious salty-sweet combination, and the fried rice brings intense Flavors and a fantastic texture.
Ingredients:
Thai Beef:
500g porterhouse, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 red chilies, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup beef broth or water
Freshly ground black pepper
Thai Fried Rice:
2 cups cooked white rice, chilled (preferably day-old)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
1 red chili, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
1 green capsicum
200g bacon
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
Freshly ground black pepper
Thai basil leaves for garnish

I know right, I was pretty chuffed when I saw them, I’ve picked up ones like that before that have looked awesome, but still somehow eaten badly, but those ones were Mickey Mouse 😂 and why not!
