Genius !! I just changed the heater core on an 07, (luckily they are fairly easy to do) no difference. Came across this and did it in a few minutes, works awesome now !!
@DSGR*10* I used a couple of clamps to pinch off the lines then just put a connector between them, if you were to take the line off the cooler and put it directly onto the block to bypass it you would lose most of your coolant so it would be easier to drain it first.
it has been a little over a year since you posted that video just wondering if it has held up, is there anything else you have found concerning this same problem thanks bunches
Don’t do this unless you want to cancel out your oil cooler, it would you want to actually fix it than replace the filter housing. Otherwise if you have a lead foot you will likely destroy your motor.
I did the exact same thing years ago. I replaced the oil cooler and 2 months later, same issue. Seems the glues/adhesives dont like certain coolants and break down, clogging it up.
Was your window steaming on the outside??? I flushed my heater core, rad flush, and new thermostat... I don't want to spend on a new heater core if I don't have to. Wat symptoms was u having besides no heat?
@@Dee-ih9sn Are you sure you re routed those hoses right? Maybe your pushing air into your coolant and that’s where the bubbles are coming from? Without seeing it that’s just a guess.
Thank you... you save me I was about to do the waterpump and my car is not over heating😅.... thank you and God bless
Thank You Bro, My Heater Works Now Because Of Your Video.

Sixpack, did fluid come out when u took the hose off radiator fluid?

Do you still have the 07? Did you have any problem from the removed hose? Where fumes blowing through the vents?
Once you do the fix do you just leave the two ports by the oil filter open or should you plug them?
I left the 2 ports unhooked. It works fine no fuemes @dsgr1073

So did you reroute the existing hoses at the oil cooler or did you have to make any extra modifications?

100% thanks for the quick fix. Can you backwash/flush the oil cooler system?

I have a challenger 2010 v6 no heat can I do the same at yours?
All man that shit works thanks my guy love u right now
Did this last?
So the fluid that come out is that radiator fluid? Do I let it drain all out first then change the hoses and then add more radiator fluid?
How did this happen? I’m confused. You have to unplug some hoses to the oil filter?
There are no hoses to the oil filter. Ever.
OK I have a question what if only one side of your vents your getting heat but the other Side isn't . I have 07 dodge too?
Probably the blend door actuator

did you ever fix this issue because I did the same thing, flushed every coolant component and still overheats
Thanks for the information . I was wondering how to do this
No problem I hope that it helped you and thank you for the feedback
So then no more ac till summer time and reverse the swap on hoses??
Yes that's what I am about to do today
@@sanchezsanchez4282need that ac huh 😂😂

Aye so I got the same problem should I just. Re route the. Lines instead of seeing id it’s. Clogged
Yes just reroute it mine's been done for a year and no mechanical issue
@@jessicaandrath8731 when I pulled my short hose it dumped my antifreeze out. How is yours not overheating?
@@jessicaandrath8731 nevermind, figured out after you re route it, the coolant stays in lol thank you so much!!
@@rebeldevel12 same thing happened to me but I figured it out. BUT now my coolant is bubbling but not over heating. ANY UPDATES?
