Quick Notes: 1.select object to deform then grid plane deform>wrap 2. select grid plane then object to deform to deform>shrink wrap 3. change settings in shinkwrap tab in attribue editor -under {projection} change drop down menu to Vertex Normals -under (Shape Preservation Controls),check (Enable Shape Preservation) -move (Steps) and (Iterations Per Step) sliders to maximum -Change (Reprojection) drop down menu to (Reprojection Per Step) Thanks for the information! I often come back to this video.
Thanks couldn't remember the wrapping step. Extremely useful method for shaping clothing to a 3D character. Wrap to a duplicate skin/body & make it transparent then scale the edge loops upon the duplicate upwards to cover the skin or down to tighten the fit.
Nice work, how did you duplicate the geometry and it retain the shrink-wrap? I have tried duplicating but it looses the wrap. Hope you can help. Thanks
so whats the difference between the wrap deform and shrink wrap and why we need to wrap first to that plane. Youy fail to explian the logis behind this.

Thanks for the help!
Great! Thank you very much!
that was super handy! thank you!
You are VERY welcome. Thanks for visiting the channel.
Nice and succint. cheers, mate
thank u it helped me to put My gt 3d letter in car bend shape..
THANK YOU !
Sweet thanks!
life saver
thank you
Thanks mate
My pleasure! You are very welcome!
Thanks
Still helpful, thanks!
You are very welcome 🙏
when i just do the wrap part, and test it out like you did with pressing b and moving the vertices, my object wont move with the plane
You didnt wrap the plane with your object then

Hi James, sorry for that late reply. That is just Ctrl-D thanks!
and the tutorial of speedtree??

The reason you use a plane is that it allows the model to smoothly attach. If you try just wrap, you may get distortion. Thanks.
