Hell yes my man! I owe you a round of whatever you drink. My driver called me all ticked off because the AC wasn't working and I'd already sent him a UA-cam on how to reset the AC. I said before we go and pay for a mobile mechanic or take it to the TA to get bent over, do me a favor, watch this video and take your hammer and crack on the AC Clutch. Low and behold, about half a pound of sand ( we haul frac sand) came out and the thing engaged! Thank you

After watching parts one and two of your videos I went out and figured I didn't have anything to lose. Sure enough the clutch wasn't engaging and I tapped it a few times it started working. I shut the truck off and started it back up and sure enough the clutch engaged. So now I'm going to spray it down and see how it does. Thanks a lot because I was already pricing compressors.

Your video helped me too, my compressor clutch was stuck and I tapped it twice with a long screwdriver and it start spinning. Wow, I was very skeptical at first but when I saw it working again I could not believe my eyes what an easy fix was l.

Dude! It worked, thanks! Lmao. It's mid April right now so it shouldn't even be hot in the Midwest yet, but for some reason it got up to 85 today in Ohio, and of course THIS is the day my AC decides to quit! I was sweating all day long... Just parked at a truck stop for the night, watched this video, and hit the AC clutch with a screwdriver, it popped back on and my AC is ice cold again! So I will get a good night's sleep! And will fix it properly over the weekend. Thank you so much

Second time this video saved me from a ticked off driver with no AC. 1. I always walk them through the AC reset 2. If that doesnt work I text them a link to this video and have them tap the AC clutch and viola!

I had a problem with my AC compressor. I did exactly what you said. It works. If you add a little bit of Lucas oil, it will last even longer.

My clutch use to stop and i had to hit it to start it but one day i took a hammer and hit the clutch as hard as i can with engine off a couple of times sprayed DW40 in between the clutch and compressor and hit it a few more times until i start seeing dirt fall out of it and other stuff then i had no problem with air and getting out to do that again
Dont hit it too hard, you don't want to damage it

does this still work if the fans down blow? its on speed 8 but its like its off, I can feel the AC works, because when I am rolling I feel cold air coming out on very low speed, then fans work perfectly in the bunk

Hello sir I had that issue since summer that little fan clutch wasn’t turning sometimes but then I was getting ice almost everyday. I never hit it with anything while it it’ not running. So my question is if even need to fix it do I need a whole ac compressor or just the wheel that’s not working to replace??? Answer me when u can thanks bro ...
hello sir, Yes you can just replece the clutch pulley on the a/c compressor. The issue that you may have is the pulley bearing seized up and may have spun on the front of the compressor nose cone and will damage it. ... You may need to replace compressor

my air started blowing hot today. I tried this but it didn't work. when I turn on my air the clutch doesn't engage at all. Can I just be low on freon or is my compressor bad?
It could be low on freon, check the hoses and condenser for freon leaks
Hello I have a freightliner Cascadia has no cold air in front but has cold air in rear , I did replaced EXPANSIVE VALVE on the front side, recharge the freon , but it did not change anything , front still has no cold air, and rear has really cold air . Do you think the new EXPANSIVE VALVE is not working or maybe something else cause front AC NOT cooling at all？If you have time please let me know I appreciate ， thank you

If your AC is blowing warm check out video "How to reset your AC in a Cascadia" you can do it from inside the cab by pushing the two buttons on the fan speed and temperature control switches

You can replace the entire ac compresor or just the clutch, i recommended new ac compresor

yes when the ac is activated the clutch starts to spin, it stops for a little but it starts spinning (it does a cycle)
Runs 30 min after stops
Compressor is good brand new truck 14k miles

I been AC COMPRESSOR /EXP VALVE /PRESSURE SENSOR VACUUM AC SYSTEM recharge the freon, it work one month and it happened again, can you tell what is going on with my truck , I did not replace the dryer filter , you think could be dryer problem? Truck is 2019 freightliner. Cascadia if you know anything, please let me know!🙏🙏🙏
When it not working there is no voltage to ac compressor
Very temporary fix..... may run from 30 seconds to 30 minutes..... then it happens again....don’t know if it’s an electrical or mechanical issue
