This video... unbelievable. Sean I did the same. I always asked my local video store for posters and... DENIED. All accept once when the video store owner gave me a counter standee for Child’s Play ‘88. I’ve also made a habit of collecting old horror VHS / Beta films as the sleeves & box art are still superior!
I love these original one-sheets and look forward to seeing your entire collection!
Friday the 13th part 8. Not sure it's anyone's favorite movie, but the teaser poster is second to none. Love it.
Same. Love the poster, hate the movie. I saw the teaser in theaters back in '89 and the audience laughed.
My favorite Friday poster is the part 4 theatrical, but it’s so hard to find the dagger in the eye poster.
Damn! Now i want to do the same and get me some cool posters and store them like that! I've always loved movie posters. When I was younger, I used to cut them out of newspapers and past them into a scrapbook. I also invented them by drawing them. It's a really interesting and creative art form in the sense that it forces you to summarize the essence of an idea artistically and in a single image. I even remember that these were some of my favorite books at the local bookstore. ''Fright Night'' and ''Lost Boys'' definitely have to be some of my favorite posters. ''The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas'' with Burt & Dolly too. They don't make them like that anymore. I'm already having fun making a mental list of posters I would buy for my collection. In your case, having them signed by artists must be a real emotional treasure. Great video!
"The Island" is a Great Movie, Love the Poster too!
I've learned to hit the 👍 button when hitting play. I really enjoy these.
Thank you, Sean! I've been looked for something to put my humble collection of horror one sheets in, this is a better option than buying the expensive frames. Love your collection!
love the Yuckmouth shirt in one of the Clive Barker pics
That’s my old band.
The Harold and Maude poster is pretty sweet. One of Hal Ashby's best films next to The Last Detail and Being There. Love your videos!!!
Being There is one of my faves.
You're always authentic and genuine Sean, I really appreciate that in a person. I never knew you are a film producer and actor, that's really cool. I wondered how you got so many signatures :)
That signed Devil's Rejects poster 😍
Big fan Sean. Glad to see another episode for the posters!
Rip Sid Haig😢
my favorite Horror Actor.. love that u started off with that ❤❤❤
We LOVE you malfuncsean!! Thank you for this!
Thanks this actually gave me some since of normalcy today
I recently got jumped downtown. Husband of 10 years bonded him out of jail and have not seen him
absolutely superb videos, channel deserves more subs!!!
What an incredible collection! You've got a museum's worth of memorabilia it seems. Thanks for sharing!
Harold and Maude! Awesome one of my favorites I recently saw and fell in love with
Thanks for showing your posters! You have a very cool collection & all the autographs you were blessed to have.I love Harold & Maude! I bought the Blu Ray version! It’s so cool to have friends from these classics!
Fantastic Sean. Love your poster collection. I was lucky enough to meet Steve Dash back in 2018 and it was a true honor. He was an awesome guy and I am still saddened that he has passed. Best to you always.
I love these videos! Thanks, Sean!
This is fantastic love this Sean
Cool Kiss stuff. That pinball machine is so epic. I subscribed bro.
I love watching these videos!! Your collection is incredible. Also thanks for the heads up on that franchi print. The updated Halloween poster I ordered arrived yesterday and it’s a thing of beauty. Now I need to add some signatures on it. All the best Sean and thanks for sharing your collection 🤘🏽
I picked up a Hellraiser III VHS One Sheet poster the other night at a local auction for pretty cheap.
Keep up your hard cool work....
Frankenhooker on VHS is also quite rare, especially the talking box "wanna date". Nice collection.
Okay you have one of the coolest collections I have ever seen!
As a mutual Funhouse fan, it’s really awesome to know that the masks, hands and glasses are in your collection and are well taken care of, and not just somewhere in the trash forgotten. Did you ever read the book? If not check it out. Thanks Sean 🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻
I own it but have never read it.
Tremendous collection Sean!
Love the collection, dude! Especially all the HALLOWEEN goodness. I'm just sticking with my one sheet for the first movie because going down the rabbit hole of the entire franchise would be crazy haha
Always a pleasure to see the posters take care brother ✌️
fantastic collection matey.im a Jaws massive fan and love the Island. Love most of them movies you showed in your posters collection.brilliant video.
My dude !!! I just have to pause this video so i can pay the proper respects!!! That mullet you were rocking in that picture of you in the Hellraiser sweatshirt is, hands down, one of the most ferocious most bad ass mullets I've ever seen !!! God damn that is legendary!!! It would be both rude and disrespectful to A) not notice and appreciate such a top shelf mullet and B) not pay it the credit and respect it deserves! Awesome channel with awesome content.... im loving all those movie posters too btw. I'm a sucker for collectables such as old movie posters and concert posters and I'm a sucker for a mean mullet!! So this video was an absolute home run !! Hahaha. Stay safe and thanks for all great content !! 🤙👍👍
No way. I love freaked! Have to rewatch to spot mr clark! If I don’t spot him I shall ask where to look!😁that film deserves so much more attention!
I finally got round to rewatching freaked! Couldn’t see mr clark. But can have a guess at what scenes he was potentially in.
These are my favorite videos that you did.
Seeing those original killer klown heads gave me chills
Amazing collection!!! So jealous!
Wow I never knew there was portfolios for posters! Love all of your collections and stories, new to your channel!
Can't wait too see more
Bro your collection is definitely Slashtastic....
Cool that Clive Barker did personal artwork on your poster!! Nice collection!! PS it would be great if you could wear your goatmask to intro the next Thing with Two Heads podcast! 😃🤘
It's interesting that most bikers and horror movie enthusiasts are so neat and kind. A shrink would probably say they purge their monsters by participating in the movie plot at some level. Like a psychodrama. Until they see the ax. Kidding ;)
Your priceless posters are beautifully kept and I hope you've put them on your will so it stays in the family. Nobody will try anything for as long as those chainsaws are kept ready.
Seriously though, amazing posters. I plan on acquiring that wonderful sleeves binder one day myself, after seeing this. Mines are still rolled and may deteriorate.
That’s some collection awesome, agree Funhouse was one of my favorites as well!🔥🔥🔥
I met Patty Mullen (Frankenhooker) while she was doing a (I'm assuming) rare appearance. Nice lady who loves Purple! 💜
So jealous of that Hills Have Eyes Poster. 😱
Love watching your poster collections Sean. I've worked at a movie theater since 2013 and have taken home over 300 posters through the years and have definitely scored some good ones. I plan to get some of them signed once conventions start up again. All I'm waiting for is the Halloween Kills poster to come in once it's finally released
Interesting. We have the same taste in Horror. The Funhouse is one of my all time favorites. Fantastic score. F13th pt. 2 is also my favorite of the F13 films and I thought I was the only one that loved The Island, also a great score by the fantastic Ennio Morricone.
I loved watching this video
Awesome collection Sean, love the Funhouse + my Bloody Valentine double feature poster I remember it was shown as a double feature here in Sydney Australia back in the day, I couldn't get in to see it because it was rated R you had to be over 18 to get in and I wasn't but i remember looking at the awesome posters & lobby cards outside the cinema
Cool to see that you have the Friday the 13th Part 8 Jason cutting through the "I love NY" logo. A much rarer one-sheet because New York people did not take too kindly to it. Another was then created and printed (which does not look as cool).
Love the collection of posters; keep them coming!
The Collection is back!!!
Amazing collection
I have my Fright Night blu ray signed by everyone but Roddy and Stark because Stark was NOT at the Pittsburgh Con years back. I was nervous meeting Sarandon, so I held the paper by my thum and it smeared his autograph SLIGHTLY but enough to make me cry lol
That Freaked one sheet is amazing 👍.
Halloween III is my favorite Halloween movie poster off all of them.
These are too amazing! Never sell these even when you are a old man(unless you me) these are worth more than what ever offer you are ever made on these, just in memories these are worth millions to you I bet, obviously you know that😂these are great
the fright poster is an all time great for sure. It reminds me of a Goosebumps cover.
Great collection. The Friday the 13th part 2 is an Australian one sheet. I also have one in my collection
Killer collection! :)
Dope, per usual..The Hellraiser promo ads are sick.
Great collection! I notice you’re missing Adrienne King on your Friday the 13th part 2 poster. But you have Steve Miner, Marta Kober, Stu Charno, and Cliff Cundey, all of whom I’m missing. I currently have 9 autos on mine. I’m going to add Steve to my poster at H45. I heard Stu used to do cons but his health isn’t good which is a shame because I would’ve loved to have met him.
Oddly enough I did seen hellraiser bloodline in my local theater. And I do recall that poster being slapped in the inside and outside of the mall I seen it in
Your holy grail is the, “Yentyl” poster signed by the assistant best boy!
Awesome!!!! I'm jealous!👍😎🖤
Really love the Ghostbusters poster
I have so many one sheets in my collection, my favorite being my Creepshow UK quad. Mine are bagged boarded, and tagged in a box. If I had the money I’d get those folders. That Fog one sheet goes for a lot these days. I don’t have many of mine signed except for Creepshow German poster. Great collection.
Hey Sean, another great collection video. I know what you mean about wondering whether you ruined a poster, but you have something unique that no-one else does as well as the memories and experiences meeting the people. There will always be original posters out there if you wanted a clean original, you just may have to end up paying more for it nowadays. Love that you sprinkle a mixture of media in here with your original photos, and those fun video clips for Hellraiser promo adverts.
My right ear enjoyed this very much.
Is there a sound issue?
Sound only coming through one side , still great though just remove left ear phone 👍
@@tezzaclark1980 It's must have something to do with the wireless mic I was using. I'll have to look into it because I've never noticed an issue but I never use headphones either.
@@malfuncsean I just switched my headphones to mono audio. Happens all the time
Love this❤️🎃
The Hellraiser posters are so cool the 3rd one especially
I wish I had as many of my posters singed as you do. Although I would like my house of a thousand corpses signed if I could.
'Halloween' 1978 did play at drive-ins in 2020.
Sean on The Funhouse pieces Kevin Conway and Sylivia Miles were two of the biggest highlights in the film for me. Would of been awesome if you could of gotten their sigs but non the less awesome collection brother.
Love the Fright Night poster
i wish i had these portfolio books in the 90s, i'd put my misfits and danzig posters in it. they are so beat up now 😪
This crazy im very impressed
5:20 // guess its easier to get more signs upon a poster if there be more white space... posters need to leave space for signs one day..
Helps sell the posters later at conventions years later past since the posters were once conceived great selection.. dope for the eyes
Fun house prob the best horror movie ever in my book. Had everything u would want in the film.. . classic
More posters! Woooo!
Sean, the rare poster for the Friday part 8 teaser is the bloody version, very few exist. However the sheet you have is actually pretty common. Also the Harold and Maude is a 1978 rerelease, better than the original one sheet by far. It was also used for the VHS artwork. It’s one of my favorite films, I’d love to get it signed by Bud Cort and Tom Skerrett that played the cop.
would love to see your figure collection after these posters
I love fright night 1985 a beautiful fantastic movie amazing
Hopefully you're going to finish this series and show us the rest of your poster collection 😍
Sean Clark is the Robert Osborne (Rest In Peace) of Horror world... knows all about all the posters, and the Players and them behind the scenes. If TCM Turner Classic Movies moves to another generation of Horror options, or some Channel needs a Horror Robert Osborne (RIP), i'd have them contact Sean. not blowing smoke, i am watching the full time of the ads and knowing each ad i watch is a coin flipped for Sean.
It's funny he doesn't have his Halloween 2018 poster signed. It's got all that open space lol.
I like the Props to sponsors and to the Inserts inserts helps .. easier to write down the email addresses and web online.. thanks Sean
Another must watch video. Thanks Sean and you should start writing your stories down (monumental task I am certain).
Hellboy moving the camera over the poster slowly reminds me of the shot from star wars' movies...'the length of the ships seems LONGER due to the use of the camera angle shot'. The Posters are HUGE in size and in Lore
I love harold and maude one of my favorite movies. I wish i could find Craig Denney's The Astrologer that's my favorite movie. It's not the James Glickenhaus movie but Craig Denney's 1976 masterpiece with a nice moody blues score.
I have Invaders From Mars poster. I love that movie.
Any chance of getting a horror con going in Australia 🇦🇺 once the madness ends?
There are about 20 copies of the original theatrical one-sheets. I have gotten this information from a friend who had a job sending posters and trailers to theaters of a major chain. Unfortunately, the theater company is now out of business.
You deserve way more subs your content is great ❤ were u in the film bizz?
Are folded posters more valuable than rolled? (I know little to nothing about collecting)
When it come to posters from the 1985 and earlier rolled is rarer because they used to fold them to ship to theaters. Sometime in 1985 they changed that to shipping them rolled because they displayed nicer without the creases.
When is the next video of posters coming out love this videos
"I happen to have The Resonator..."
hol/y shit!!!!!!!!!!! i . love. all this. I d k how long it took you to collect all that, or how many events you attended but as always, impressive. cheers xx
Weirdly this is very hard to watch. My dad was a huge poster collector (and dealer--remember Movie Collector's World? Ray Cort's Memorabilia shows?). It was his life but in 1988 we moved to CA and he had to sell a good chunk of his collection. Then as years went on, times got tough and more got sold. Then he passed away in 2019. So it's bittersweet to see this because he had a good chunk of the same poster you have.
There is a very good chance I bought a few things from him. I used to go to Ray Court's shows all of the time especially back when it was at the Beverly Garland Hotel off of Vineland.
@@malfuncsean very possible. He also set up at a few Fango convention and some Whitney Bain shows. I remember the Court's shows later moved to a venue in the Valley, I think. I remember Gene Simmons (this was during the "Revenge" era) browsing at our table! I was starstruck! (Bastard didn't buy anything! Ha!) Sold an original Dawn of the Dead poster to Greg Nicotero via EBay.
@@brandonhendrix7223 Then I have no doubt I bought something from him at some point.
A rob zombie devils rejects movie location would be dope
I currently have an all original the fog, Friday the 13th part 1/2/3 and a home alone. I try to just get my absolute favorites. I have a “reprint “ of the fog also with Curtis trying to stop the ghost. That one I only because it came with an andrienne barbeau figure and the fog vinyl. All came together. Otherwise I don’t buy reproduction of anything.
Can you please do an in-depth video on your Kiss collection? It looks like you have some amazing stuff including Peter Criss’s boots from Phantom if the Park?!?!?
I plan on doing that eventually.
