the kitchen part ,the Elrod house is my fav part of this video, if i was ever there in USA ,id buy that house, im not stuck up for a rich big house. its a roof over ur head, has everything u need + its a legendary old poorish ppl housey
@@malfuncsean oshhh that a shame... i was stunned how much it looked like in the movie.. like 90% was the same, hance that makes this video even more special ,i love it,to me that start of part2 is prolly the best start of any horror movie in every sence
Man that's crazy that there was any pushback from Scream Factory. I love this series! Enough that I buy movies I've never seen before just to see the new episodes as they roll out lol. I'm glad you're getting a chance to release the uncut versions. That hospital bit really cracked me up.
I always love any little skits you do on these. own just about all the editions that have these hallowed grounds vids but they are always a blast to watch.
Idk how our dood only has 40k subs. This content is too good and should be reaching way more people! Let's all make sure we always like and comment to boost his algorithm!
I love your location videos Sean, you video and explain every tention to detail. I hope you bring out a blu-ray someday with all your episodes on there.
Dammmmm this is is a good one. The in and out shots are epic. amazing job sean. U guys are killing the film location videos No comparison to the rest of em. Keep ‘em coming brother
Only just come across this I've been watching a lot of you filming locations lately on your channel and they are absolute quality I bloody love them mate, I've loved horror movies since I was a kid when I used to get my mum to come down the video shop with me to rent Halloween and Friday the 13th movie's at weekends so I could have movie marathons until the early hours and she never minded because of how much I loved them, Can I ask if you don't mind what the studios had a problem with showing of the content you recorded for the extras, I'm obvious no expert but if it's only facts and locations there really couldn't be much to complain about Surely, Anyway thanks for uploading them for us to watch really appreciate it pal, From the UK 👍🏻
Awesome video, about the 5th or 6th time ive watched this. Love revisiting this and seeing these locations again. Great movie. They dont make them like these anymore.
This is awesome so cool that kitchen is still there with the cutting board. They had to throw that smoking scene in to show Loomis with a lighter for later.lol
I get the feeling that back in the day, you used to wear Doc Martens, 10 eyelets, with rolled up Levis and a motorcycle jacket, and listen to the Suburbia soundtrack. And I LOVE that about you if I'm right. Cheers.
Tell you what, growing up in the Midwest you tend to naturally embrace the Halloween season and all the movies that come out around that time. The fall weather really sets the atmosphere to get you in the spirit.- Then later on you find out that all those Halloween movies were filmed in California and it sort of changes your perception a bit. But Great documentary on these films and I hope to get out there one day to see the locations in person.
That's cool this one you can actually see everything in the alley and going pass house into elrod house and yard so cool other video I seen they couldn't get back there cause they had built a fence by that house so they were trying to peek over fence to see elrod house but can't really see cool to see it before the fence matches up perfectly so cool seeing it in day time can see a lot more without all the darkness lol
Love the video. The access you get is unparalleled. I'm a Halloween fan myself and can't stop from wanting to know more. Can you answer why they went through the trouble of reshooting the end of H1 to change the location of the balcony where Michael falls from? The actual balcony is in the back of the house, but they reshot it with him falling from the porch roof in the front of the house (with the easily seen ramp the stunt man walks backwards to fall over the railing) . I always wondered why they did that.
@LiveOkie Thanks. I always wondered why they bothered. They just could have used all the footage from the first, then have Loomis walk out the front door of the house to interact with the neighbor. IMDB lists the house for the Doyle house interiors and on Google Maps the back bedroom balcony is still there, though the back yard is now mostly paved. Anyways, I love to talk Halloween. Cheers.
Just noticed something on the Elod kitchen door. It's thought that the door was removed for filming, but; if you watch the scene when Michael enters into the kitchen, you will notice the bore hole to the left indicating that the inside door actually closed from the other direction. Also, you can see the door opened all the way when Michael peeks into the kitchen window before entering.
Sean - great videos buddy from 🇬🇧 What would be cool would be for you to do Vamp filming locations with Rob Rusler - would be amazing - keep up the great work chap 🙏🏻
The elrod house was my favorite. He was there and she didnt know it. Halloween night in your own house and the long distance shit of michael standing there and then stepping out
Damn hard to believe it's already been a decade since this was filmed..Remember this time vividly when Scream Factory launched a great time for genre fans..
The hospital scene where the medic touches your hand followed by the long awkward pause was hilarious!
Oh yes, it was the cherry over the cake, LMAO
Can't stop laughing in the middle of the night at that scene, well done Sean 😂😂😂
Hilarious 😂😂😂😂
The cutting board alone, makes me smile huge. Probably one of my favorite horror scenes ever. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

@@kaffeice7 Believe me, you don't want to move to the U.S.
Love that the kitchen in the Elrod house is still the same!!!
Was. They gutted it and remodeled it right after.

In retrospect, it's odd they had a screen door only.
Robert Rusler is the man. One of my favorite actors from that era.
Just priceless and awesome you got Robert Rusler involved. He's still awesome to this day man. 👏 👍🙂
A really great return to location shoot, brilliant.
This was the best, thanks for sharing Sean
The Lance Guest scenes were hilarious 😂
Another great video, the part with Jimmy in the hospital in particular was brilliantly done and really made me laugh out loud.

Love these little slices of death... Sean had me ROTFLMAO on the last hospital scene with Jimmy! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm loving these moments of awkwardness in the hospital room! 12:18
You should've asked for a can of Tab soda. Make Jimmy work for it!
Binge watching all these episodes at work.... I'm a new subscriber! Thnx for all the content! Sean and Jimmy scene i LMFAO, hilarious.
He did such a great job on this breakdown.
Thank you.
@@malfuncsean Absolutely, my son (14) and I crack up every time at the “you let him out” part. 😂😂😂😂👍
The editing on this was absolutely on point!
The fact that the Elrod kitchen looks so much like it did in 1981 is awesome
Sadly just days after I filmed that they gutted it and remodeled the entire house.
@@malfuncsean damn - well good thing this footage exists and the original setup was captured in time
@@malfuncsean You should have asked for that cutting board.
@@base1b2626 I did and I own it.

Robert Rusler still looks amazing!! Vamp was his best💖
Sean and Robert...still a better love story than Twilight
Only ends in heartbreak for poor Rusler.
I wonder if rusler is still friends with Robert Downey Jr
@@kevinmiller9884 He says he is... also says he keeps in touch with Anthony Michael Hall.
@@malfuncsean Will you ever do one for ''A Nightmare On Elm ST Part 2'' in the future Sean?
I think you mean better love story than Padme and Anakin. Because Twilight is actually really good.
I'm so happy you have a UA-cam channel! Been watching your videos since 2007-ish.
This is series is great, I really appreciate the effort you have made. I will share with my movie buddies! Cheers from England 😊
Thank you!
This is an awesome episode Sean, my favourite of all the Halloween movies
I love when you run into the disgruntled Rob Rusler in several of your videos.
I love your location videos Sean, you video and explain every tention to detail. I hope you bring out a blu-ray someday with all your episodes on there.
IIRC, the Doyle house was also used briefly in Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School

Dude your audio in this video is amazing it’s so clear and just sounds great
The blender in the kitchen was still there
What a great work and video 🤘😎 Funny meeting with Robert. And I did not know that hospital are is no-go area and people can get arrested.
The best Halloween movie!
