That is hilarious because he comes from a long line of educators, he has an aunt and some uncles who were music teachers. His great aunt was Sheila Younge Wilson Vp Kamala Harris first grade teacher....it makes sense that he would be like the cool music teacher!!

Amoeba I can't express or explain how much I appreciate this series. I've been watching these for years and have recently been, 're-bingeing' the old and new clips. From DJ Spinna, J Rocc and Karriem Riggins, my idol Peanut Butter Wolf to this amazing passionate gifted brother, Adrian Younge. Thank you for creating a platform for them to share their passion and pass down their music knowledge and influences. Much love. Peace.

I thought I was hot ishh' for having 2 of his albums. Hehe.. I have that David Axelrod vinyl too. Songs of Innocence is a great album as well, and people sampled the ishh out of it. I guess Im being reminded of how dope Portishead is too. Time goes by and u stop playing older stuff sometimes. I need to bring it back!! Great episode. Reminds me of my own record collection.
