    Went to high school with Adrian. He had turntables in his bedroom back then. I’m really happy to see how he has became a legend.

    I love this guy ! .. I liked the part where he talked about the link between European film composers and soul music , I'd always wondered If there was really a link ( I'm young) or I was just tripping.
    Also, he was super knowledgeable about music in general, it was super funny the part where he explained how to choose a record based on the race or age of the guys and all that stuff, hahaha

    I love the rational of this guy. If you see the black, white & Asian guy on a record together back in the 60's or 70's then you've got to buy it. It sounds glib, but what he's really saying is that those guys had to step outside of the very prescribed racial genres that the music industry imposed upon artists back then and do something different.

    • @1m2a3t4t5
      @1m2a3t4t5 5 років тому

      alex green No, hes bot really saying that at all, no need to turn it into a liberal preach.
      Hes just pointing out that its more unlikely for different races of people to be featured on albums together, which may hint at something more specific in the music.

    Love the series, like others, Preemo, Madlib, Large Pro, all would be dope, but everyone you have seemed to grab have awesome stories, and I'm appreciative of all the work you have put into the series. This is clearly the best thing on Fuse, the other series that the channel uploads I'm not too fond of, but this is what the culture needs.

      I'm not sure that his personal record collection is for sale, he never specifically sadi that it is, he only said that he combined his collection with that other guy's. I don't think that he would sell a gift like that, plus it's pretty rare, Jack DeJohnette is a terrific drummer.

    The experience of watching the vid was different than crate diggiin. I looked at him and was like who the hell his he. Then I realized he was from wax poetic. And I listened to the interesting things he had to say. He was off the wall, literally. A total trip and into more of the obscure stuff that I was always into even though his knowledge of the Wu was so deep. This is my guy for sure. I love all of these guys, but this guy is the one you want to talk to about all genres-maybe Jaz Jay

      Which is just an indicator of how rare some records are, if it's not on youtube, it's really rare, because if you think about it, that would mean that no one that has ever uploaded music to youtube doesn't have a copy and can't upload it. I just saw that it goes for 50 dollars mint and a 100 dollars sealed.

      Yes it is I just heard it and brought me to tears because it was that beautiful. I cried because there ain't many people who write songs from their imagination get a premade beat sample this and that and have some person who thinks they're a singer or rapper on the track and somehow get an award for song of the year by not really working hard on their CON-position. Sorry... composition.
