My first concert was the one on 9/9/2023 in Phoenix. I was right next to robs gear. My hotel was right across from the stadium

The person I went with has seen them throughout the majority of this tour, and he said that those two nights in St Louis were the best he’s ever seen them play. Definitely glad I went
I was there! The crowd was SO LOUD for this song! Another cool thing I noticed in St Louis on both nights is that MOST fans weren't on their phones during the show, just rocking out and having fun! Long love Metallica! 🤘🤘
Yeah they were rocking! The singing on this song was epic! And not alot of phones. I was in section 109. It was an incredible 2 shows

I went to both nights in St. Louis... Definitely some of the best nights of my life , I will never forget how hyped I got with every song they played , I especially love The Memory Remains

This was unbelievably epic live. My first Metallica show and proud to have brought my 7 and 9 year old to their first concert. They love Metallica and were blown away by the energy!!

I saw them in 08 omaha nebraska, 2017 des Moines,2018 Lincoln nebraska and then the 2 shows in st louis! Drove down all the way from omaha to st louis. It was fun
@@dnmoscato92 yea, people promised and dipped, promised and helped save and dipped. Both parents died (mom 4 days before my bday) becoming a father 4mo later, sleeping in my car with my family and animals for a lil bit, OVERHAULING all the hours at Amazon, it's been a trip, I've commented quite a bit on the StL posts. I just wonder if any of the band has seen the admiration and feel how much they've been my heroes growing up. From people promising, on, is the tip of the iceberg that they helped me through. But the big one being my dad gone, being a father...
I adopted James' personality as a mask for what I was going through. Somewhere along the way, idk...he's Papa Het, but my kid sees me as Papa Set (funny rhyme, I guess.) I don't mean to talk a lot or annoy the band with my posts though, I have a form of Autism and it doesn't tell me when to just shut up. Some C-PTSD, telling me I should.
Aye, is anyone else signed up to the Metallica phone # they got. It's like their messaging service that keeps in contact with them (I guess through this tour?) They sent me a lone text to the Harvester video of this night. Anyone else get that? Or was it just me? It was odd, it was just harvester, they posted it here and then a day later the Memory video, but they didn't send a text to the Memory video. Did anyone get that too? Or we're they being cryptic as hell with me?

My only wish in the future is they'd get the inflections more right, they repeat the same bars - other than that, fucking love that it's the biggest sing-along for the crowd!
This was the first time I saw them live. Something I never thought I would do. Halfway through this song, I had tears in my eyes. Call me sappy, but singing an amazing song along with thousands of others while it's being played live is an amazing feeling. I was crying during Fade to Black as well, but for a completely different reason.
My first time too! I tested up when he talked about Suicide in Fade to Black as I’m a survivor 😢

This was my 5th Metallica show. What an experience.
I love this song.
This was my firsy concert ever, and I was absolutely blown away. How well the songs were played, the instruments, and the environment. I can't even express the environment of the concert. There were flames shooting out of the ground, beach balls falling from the sky, and when Master of Puppets played, everyone went insane. This will most likely be the best concert I will go to in my lifetime.
Hopefully you are not disappointed the next time you go to a concert, as this one set a pretty high bar. What an amazing first concert to see.

Absolutely love this. Wish Metallica would revive the old ending where they kicked back into the song - that was epic.
It's interesting you say that. In the demo, they kick back into the song, but they don't on the album version.
I’ve always loved this song we were all singing as loud as possible down in the pit. The Energy was unreal both nights!

Small mistakes at so many concerts are nothing more than normal.
Because at this point I want to speak out for Lars, who has been criticized far too much.
He delivers consistently.
He is 60 soon and is still doing a good job. Still a great band.
He is one of the best arrangers in music history. One thing that I never understood is if people think that he has no talent and he has no good than what he has accomplished must be pretty fucking impressive
Lars has horrible hearing damage. I am a drummer, and being able to hear what the other instruments are doing is important to having the tempo locked, yet he still plays accurately and on time.
can't wait to go back to their show and sing marianne's part with the crowd at the top of my lungs ... what an anthem

I was at this show, both Friday and Sunday when they came to Stl. Holy shit they were amazing. Crazy I’ve been listening to my whole life, and they’ve been putting out songs since before I was born. Such an inspiration.
