Love tumeric! It's also a great tooth whitener! I mix it with a little water to make a paste and brush my teeth with it. You can see the difference straight away. Just make sure you rinse well. I brush with a mild toothpaste after. I use it once or twice a week to keep my teeth really white :)

Im from Pakistan. Turmeric is used in all our local dishes here... it is also used to cure sore throat by adding it to warm milk with honey and it also makes excellent facemasks combined with oils and gramflour. There are many endless benefits of turmeric.

In Okinawa, Japan they drink fermented turmeric tea. And several people that live in Okinawa are about 80 years old and still are participating in martial arts. There are even elders who are 100 and are still farming, harvesting, playing with their grandchildren, ect. Bitter melon is another health food there. It's also one of my favorite vegetables. The larger ones are less bitter while the smaller ones are more bitter

I had pain in my fingers, old age pain, that hurt even when my hands were still. I read that tumeric was good for this and could be used topically. I mixed it with a bit of water, aloe vera gel, and a bit of epsom salt. I soaked my fingers in this mixture for about 45 minutes. Not only did the pain go away, my hand felt better than it had in a long time and has been pain free since! I'm not sure how well it would work for more advanced conditions, but I've never seen anything as effective.

Great ideas! Thanks! Another thing I've heard you can do with turmeric is use it as a teeth whitener. You take a bit of coconut oil and add some turmeric to it to make a paste. Put it on your tooth brush and brush your teeth with it. Leave it on your teeth for 5 minutes.
Then rinse it out and then brush your teeth with normal toothpaste. It will stain the bristles of your toothbrush, so you may want to use a cheaper toothbrush for this (turmeric part) It's up to you.
Also heard from Paramahamsa Nithyananda that you can take turmeric and mix it with a bit of water to make a paste. Put it on your forehead and third eye Area. Go to bed. Concentrate on third eye Area. Go to sleep. When you wake up, wash it off. You can use coconut oil to help remove the turmeric color if you still see it after washing face. Do this for one month. It will help decalcify your pineal gland.
    😊😊❤️
    Turmeric is awesome!

I always enjoy your videos as I always come out of them having learnt something! As someone studying nutrition I always find them so interesting. Going to have to try the golden milk. Also one recipe I enjoy is "cauliflower rice with some turmeric and cumin as well as salt and pepper" it such a lovely way to get more veg into your diet. On a side note, and this is just a video suggestion but maybe a video on herbs and spices you cook with? So kind of like a spice cupboard tour? I suggest this because I enjoy trying new spices and herbs to add flavour and am always in the mood to try new spices.

The best thing for eczema is definitely olive oil. It has a lot of benefits and a high amount of squalene (squalane?), which the skin produces normally. with eczema, the skin doesn't produce as much squalene. So try a turmeric and olive oil mask!

That's funny. I can't hear without hearing aids and I can understand everything she says. Some people aren't used to thick accents, so that's understandable, but I don't think she mumbles. Seriously, people - if you can't understand her accent, quick complaining about it (it's YOUR issue) and just use the settings on the bottom right of the screen to slow down the video. Problem solved...yeesh.

I bought Turmeric and Cayenne pepper powder at the same time, but I never knew, but now I think Cayenne pepper also promotes absorption of Turmeric. Thanks!

I'm here because I'm trying to make all natural "crazy" lipstick colors -
Can you tell me how grainy is tumeric? Is it more grainy like baking soda or powdery like flour?

I use turmeric in this way in a mug of coffee:
    1 level teaspoon of turmeric
    1 level teaspoon of cinnamon
    1 level teaspoon of cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper ( for capcaisin)
    5 drops of Stevia
Small amount of ground of ground black pepper
    Stir well while drinking
If any amount is left over in bottom of mug, drink more coffee or have another beverage to get the sediment out ( usually pepper).

It's important to NOT use already-ground black pepper, but freshly cracked black pepper from a grinder to help the tumeric properly absorb into your body, as well as using an organic oil like coconut or olive. The peperine in freshly cracked black pepper is what is so important in increasing the amount of tumeric that gets absorbed; an increase that can be nearly 200%!

I have been trying to help my sister out with her health. So it was good coming across your channel and that i can share it with her. Someone more relatable she can understand. lol .
I immediately heard the "so called accent" and it was refreshing. listening to "american" most of the time has a numbing effect and can get boring.. even funnier. Churr
