Honestly, if you're only now discovering Chris Cornell? Then, you're in for a real treat. It's going to be sad in the short term, since you're going to learn pretty soon, that he's no longer with us. That can't help but bring you down for a minute, it's an effective reminder that neither wealth nor epic talent separates us when comes down to it. We all have our hurdles to get over and around as we fumble our way through life, and life's too short already. The bright side, is he left a really fat catalog of a really wide range of songs. So, you've got a lot of great music to listen to, before you have to rerun any of em, he was as great at covering other's music as he was at performing his own. Started in the 80's with Soundgarden, then put out a Tribute album honoring a friend in 1991, called Temple of the Dog, then he joined with the guys from Rage Against the Machine, to form Audioslave in 2000 or 2001? Then they lasted until 2007 or 2008? He was back with the guys from Soundgarden at the end tho and he took his own life in May of 2017. R.I.P. Chris Cornell, thank you

Prince wrote it and performed it live a few times, but the original version was sung and made popular by Sinead O’Connor. Check out the band Temple of the Dog and Listen to the song “say hello to heaven”. Chris Cornell is amazing on it.
Chris’s acoustic cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” should be required listening on all reaction channels. Also “Shadow on the Sun” by Audioslave.
