  • The Archdiocese of Boston is calling for intense prayer as the city prepares this weekend to host a so-called Satanic convention. Organizers say the event known as SatanCon celebrates the history of a group that denies the existence of God. It also protests religious symbols in public spaces. In response to this weekend's convention, the archdiocese says it has increased the availability of Eucharistic Adoration and other Catholic devotions. Archbishop Mark O'Connell, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, joins to discuss what services or initiatives the archdiocese is offering this weekend amid the convention. He shares what some prayers or advice are in particular for the faithful who might be concerned about this. Archbishop O'Connell shares what more we know about the group and how concerned he is that something called SatanCon is about to be held in his city. Not only is Boston hosting an event with Satan in the name, but the event is reportedly sold out as well. The auxiliary bishop of Boston explains what this signals, as it seems this is a part of a much larger trend nationwide.
