I love so much 80's.
Magnifique, I was 2-3 years old, and it is still on my all-time-favorite playlist. She has a 'je ne sais quoi' of accent that makes it so great. And she is so charming 🤩
Thanks a lot for sharing your nice and enthusiatic reaction. This song has everything to be mesmerized.. Like it hugely since its 1985 relesase. Magical year, with especially the birth of my beloved daughter.
Thank you Bibie 🌼🌸🌺💫,Thank you Dereck ! 🍀🍀🍀💫
Like a lot of person I was at the beginning of adolescence when this song came out, it's not the biggest hits of these years but she has one I do not know how to friendly, the voice of bibie is clear and melodious . This tells the story of two people who have feelings but tenuous almost dead and leaves for reasons that are personal or to take stock. the rupture is it momentary or lasting none of the two do you know ...
A magnificent song by Bibie which has become cult that it was parodied by Omar Et Fred from the SAV on Canal +. A pure gem of 80's. You made the right choice, Dereck, the year 1985 is magical in the music, that hits this year in France (Gold, Jean-Pierre Mader, Jeanne Mas, Niagara, Daniel Balavoine, Indochine...)! Incredible! 😃
Hello Derek. I'm a 44 french man and I know this song well bacause even if I was a child in 1985, this song was everywhere in France, TV, radio, parties (as slows were existing still). I fully agree we feel she has a voice which can deliver much more but I do not agree she should release it in this sad song because this way she keeps a dramatic tension. It is about decreasing love through time and she wants to live passion again, she is about to blow, this is why her choice is pertinent, she express this feeling of restart a real passionate love story but it is long, she waits and waits. Then, listening the song we wait with her and we have the same feeling, we undertand the message through the lyrics but also through the drums (like heartbeats) and the pressure growing while she keeps and masters her voice. It is a whole which can make us cru.
Nina did the same in " I should be released", she fully mastered her voice to serve the song. This is the opposite style of the Ike and Tina's proud Mary (even if it is an insane song too).
Good evening ! in the 8th edition of the show, Diana sang the song "Little Prince" from the category "Soviet Song". "The Little Prince" has been a cult song for three generations of Russians. No school and children's holiday in Russia is complete without this song. This song was written in 1968 by the brilliant Soviet composer Mikael Tariverdiev for the adventure film " Passenger from the" Equator".Greetings from Moscow!
Thank you for doing those french old hits from my childhood. Say what you think about it, wether you like them or not, I can't talk for every french people, but generally we tend to like honesty better than fake praise, and that's what you do since the beginning so please keep doing the same, it's perfect.
Derek,I believe one song that would blow you away is Little River Band - It's a Long Way There (extended Studio Version). This was one of the bands big early hits that is truly a classic masterpiece of music
I remember this hit, and then good memories, as I was in france. Would you react to Caroline Loeb - C'est la ouate, and Rita Mitsouko feat. Sparks - Singing in the shower?
Lol before seeing Dalida in Semplicemente cosi, you much see Dalida in gigi l'amoroso 1975. I'm sure that you will have bananas. It's an unique performance. Thanks Dereck i forgot this song and i listen it since yesterday.
Hey Dereck. There is a cover with a powrr moment like the one you are missing. The singer is Maximilen Philippe (2017). It's a totally different style and voice but he managed to keep the feeling of the song and making it sound relevant ( "style of music" speaking. I recommend it just to satisfy your knowledge of what that sng could have been, had it been made now 🙂
I always found this song really beautiful. But you're indeed right. If at the end, she had delivered more power in a climactic ending (with a final boost of the instrumentation) it may have turned this great song into an unforgettable one. Which, even if I loved it, i had to admit, is not the case, it's not very much known nowadays compared to others you had already reacted to.
Hi! Please react to Pelageya - Oh, It's not the night yet (Пелагея - Ой, да не вечер - We are Together!) 2020. Pelageya is a russian singer. She is amazing!
Quite sweetly Want to change the atmosphere, the altitude Quite sweetly In need of love to replace the habit Quite simply Stop the supplementary minutes Which make my life hell I love him still but really
Quite sweetly Out of his sheets and of his heart Quite sweetly Without noise for not he cries Quite simply Change of skin, forget all fronts Close your eyes to otherwise feel again
Quite simply Closed at the cause of different feelings Maybe return in a day, a month, a year In his heart, in his head If still he waits for me.
Quite simply Closed at the cause of different feelings Quite simply Closed due to inventory In my heart, in my head Change everything really
The needles turn curiously But aren't those The passing time Almost silently when we begin on stage It's not really solitude but it's the certainty Of an independent feeling of his attitude, ooh
Quite simply Closed at the cause of different feelings Quite simply Closed due to inventory In my heart, in my heart Change everything really
Quite sweetly On the point of the heart turning the page Quite simply Choose a new photo book Quite sweetly Relearn to passionately love Quite simply Make our story in a different world
Quite simply Closed at the cause of different feelings Quite simply Closed due to inventory In my heart, in my heart Change everything really.
Hey, Can you react to the song " pictures of Matchstick men " by Status quo, please. But the sound is better on the studio stereo version than the original one. Thank you, have a great day.
hi dereck. frankly I find this version bland compared to what I remember. I already have the impression that the end is missing because I have already heard bibie live and she was sending thoroughly. if the french could confirm it to me or tell me if that's all

"Véronique Jeannot - Aviateur", pliiiiizzzeee !! 🤪
The title reminded me of "Doucement" by the soccer player and singer Makassy (born Alrick Kalala). It reached number 17 in the French Singles Charts.
Reminds me of my childhood, love it, love her voice ❤️
Qué buena canción Dereck !!! La escucho de vez en cuando todavía

Chimène Badi has the same voice. "Entre nous" is her first hit , recorded in 2003. Chimène is REALLY a talented French singer.

Hi Derek, I highly recommend Francis Cabrel, "c'était l'hiver" (it was winter).
The lyrics are really poetic and emotional.
I always found this song really beautiful. But you're indeed right. Which, even if I loved it, i had to admit, is not the case, it's not very much known nowadays compared to others you had already reacted to.

Quite sweetly
Without noise for not he cries
Quite simply
Change of skin, forget all fronts
Close your eyes to otherwise feel again
Quite simply
Closed at the cause of different feelings
Maybe return in a day, a month, a year
In his heart, in his head
If still he waits for me.

On the point of the heart turning the page
Quite simply

Quite simply
Closed at the cause of different feelings
