Noir désir is the name of the band. Tostaky is a contraction for "todo esta aqui". The song is in french and in spanish. Noir désir was my favorite band at that time till the singer Bertrand Cantat killed his girlfriend Marie Trintignant by hitting her as he was drunk. Marie was a well known actress and that caused a big emotion in France. Cantat was rejected by the other members of the band and Noir désir does'nt exist anymore. They left very good songs with very deep lyrics that we still listen now with a little bitterness. Other songs by Noir Désir: A ton étoile, Comme elle vient '(with an awesome video), Aux sombres héros de l'amer, Un jour en France, L'homme pressé, Le vent nous portera Other french rock bands to listen to: Trust: Antisocial (TRUST - ANTISOCIAL - CLERMONT (Coopérative de Mai)) Téléphone: Un autre monde, Ca c'est vraiment toi, la bombe humaine, New York avec toi, Cendrillon Matmatah: Lambe an dro, L'apologie (LIVE @ Fête du bruit 2017) ...
Bertrand Cantat came back with a band named "Detroit" and he his still sing solo now, he did feats with Shaka Ponk "palabra mi amor" and with Amadou&Mariam for example. But yes nothing can beat the original band, every album are great specially 666.667 club.
Probably one of the best rock french band ever. ...with a so sad story to end. Still be a fan of the band, me and my girlfriend have part of the lyrics of this song on our arms, and still follow Bertrand Cantat career, even if I can understand lot can't. "fun" fact: their last album was released on 9/11/01. Maybe it was a sign.
Noir Desir was the best French rock band. They were amazing live, and very political... But since the lead singer killed his girlfriend in a fist fight when he was drunk, I really have a hard time listening to his voice that I loved so... The lead guitar player, Serge Teyssot-Gay is an excellent musician too.

The title of the album, Tostaky, is the slang contraction of “todo está aquí” in Spanish (meaning “everything is here”), one of the rallying slogans of the Mexican revolutionaries led by Emiliano Zapata.
