I got the part from advance auto parts for $325 because the customer needed there car asap but I would suggest buying online to get a cheaper price if you have the time to wait.

I'm changing the alternator on my son's 2019 Corolla LE. I went through quite a few videos before I found yours. This was the best step-by-step demonstration of all of them. You are correct the alternator for this car is expensive. It was like $400 after the core return. It is the Valeo. The auto part stores couldn't be sure of which replacement was correct without seeing the sticker off of the bad alternator.

@@trublu305 I most definitely will, but I do have one question. What do you know about Bluetooth radios? My Bluetooth turns on and off when he wants to. In the middle of listening to a song, it will turn off and the music will start playing from my phone instead. Why do you think that is?

@@truediamond8212 ok thank you and yea I've had that happened to me in couple cars but to be honest with you. To fix the issue you would have to replace the radio but which would cost $ so I've always just dealt with it anyway. Unless I already wanted to replace the radio in that car

Charge the battery with another car. You DEFINITELY don't want jumper cables alive and attached to the car you are working on.
