- Living Books: Arthur's Computer Adventure Full Playthrough
Living Books: Arthur's Computer Adventure is the 17th Living Books PC CD-Rom Game from 1997 and the 4th Arthur Living Books game based on the Arthur's Computer Disaster book by Marc Brown and the episode “Arthur the Wrecker”. The CD Rom Game was released on July 28, 1998.
One of my favorite gags in this game has always been the lamp in the living room who begs you repeatedly across multiple screens to NOT click on him until he finally gives up and outright runs off.
Which page was it? Did I not click on it?
@@LY203Productions You did click on it once on each page it shows up on, but he has a couple more lines per page that you definitely missed as well as the final one on page 14 that causes him to run away and leave the screen.
@@Retrotude Oh oops, I didn't know that. Do u think I should redo it again?
@@LY203Productions Nah, I wouldn't worry about it. It's just one that sticks out in my memory because of how funny I found it that it actually semi-permanently affects the page it happens on.
the lamp scared me 😂😂i still touched him tho
this randomly showed up on my feed and I'm not disappointed. Core memory unlocked 🔐
i loved this game as a kid!! for reference i'm 23 and i played this around 2004-2008 from ages 5-9

@@diabliita same. I played this game back in elementary school.
Arthur’s mom was so wrong for that. Playing Arthur’s game after punishing him. That’s just cruel. Feels like a double punishment!
I remember playing this game when I was young, at 19:41 if you keep clicking on the teacup it will eventually keep cracking and fall off the hook, after that happens the dad says "One less cup to wash", and at 1:21:05 when you click on the laptop again, I believe the lady will knock the laptop off of the table due to her typing rapidly.
I’m 26 and played this as a young child all the time… this video is my background track for the ultimate nostalgia experience and I love it🩷🩷🩷
Help rescue me
Man I remember my brothers and I playing this when we were young. The fondest memory I had with this making the helicopter flying across the screen in a endless loop 😂
19:00 I've been thinking about the beans song for like 20 years
My mom thought that was the funniest part of the whole game. As for me, 1:24:58 as well as the living room lamp were my favorite parts.
Yep, this was actually largely based on the TV episode "Arthur the Wrecker". Technically, the episode was initially adapted into a book titled "Arthur's Computer Disaster," and then that got adapted into this Living Books game.
D.W.'s voice doesn't fit here very well; she sounds way older than she should be. She definitely sounded her age in the first two Living Books Arthur titles.
I loved this game so much as a kid. Thank you for posting!!! :)
I love the parts with the 2 mice! They are so hilarious!!!
I agree. They are easily the best part of the game. They've even inspired me creatively too
Same here.
I love how clips of/UA-cam videos about toys, books, cd rom games, music CDs, DVDs and/or VHS tapes reveal my artwork or/and my playDough imprints/textures/impressions/fossils, say their names and jump off each one
This lets my imagination run really wild, allows my entire creativity to do fun stuff and dares most kids of my autistic adventures to do young kid things differently as autistic adults
This unlocked a hidden core memory for me….
"BEANS, BEANS, THE MUSICAL GROUP. THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE YOU POOP. THE MORE YOU POOP, THE BETTER YOU FEEL, SO EAT SOME BEANS FOR EVERY MEAL!" This song still slaps today 🤣🤣🤣
Oh my dear I used this Arthur's Computer game as a child
6:30- This still makes me laugh 17 years later😂🤧
21:55 I don't know if anyone in this comment section has ever played the arcade game "Sunset Riders" but this is the exact same sound that is used when you would insert a coin into that game.
15:53
Said mom.
Any PBG fans around?
Dude this takes me back, me and my sister's would always play this on our computer
I like the 2 mice.
Same!
The male mouse wears green while the female mouse wears red.
1:29 Get Down Arthur
10:46 Reminds me of Baby Moana after she played Pancake Milkshake in Ralph 2 😂
Page 14
You can also click on the tiny computer switch and even the disk tray which was so crazy to me, but in a previous page you can’t click the disk tray
1:26 I remember when I was in elementary school, somebody left this game on the computer screen at max volume and the teacher was out of the room, and one of the kids in my class went and clicked on the screen and Arthur started dancing and we all lost our shit laughing
1:21:14 I did it! I found the thing!
Max comfy gaming 😤
I love this part
2:03:23
I remembered picking the Greedy ending for the spelling quest
11:38 Arthur! Watch out for the monster mermaid! 🧜♀️
Pirates skeletons and ghost and sonic. It’s time for dinner. Oh no, it’s already dinner time but you can still come along.
6:25 Bless you D.W
Ngl, the song at 4:08 sounds like something from Dora the Explorer. It's definitely the steel drums.
If you can, could you please tackle Sunbuddy Math Playhouse?
Sunbuddy Math house? I can look into that but won't be playing it anytime soon.
Does anyone know if the orchestral music at 2:06:37 is based on anything? It's bombastic and I love it! lol
Love the buster win
I played that computer game when I was a boy
58:12 LOL
59:19 Once upon a time, there was a boy who disobeyed his mother, and broke her computer! And his little sister got all his desserts, and she lived happily ever after!
You’re not helping, DW..
Livingbook is the legend 😂😂😂 of PC
17:31 Who took the cookies from the cookie jar?
Not me. I've been framed!
Cookie Monster: Don't look at me.
I LOVE ARTHUR READ (GEMINI) (THE 2 AARDVARKS) 😇👹 WITH ALL MY HEART AND I ALWAYS WILL
