Even though the speedrun community already came up with new solid routes, this is still pretty good and informative. Both for casuals, as for people trying to dive more into the speedrun aspect of it. I hope you'll keep this video up for documentation and motivation purposes. I wanted to compare how different would be to try and upgrade a regular weapon (smithing stones) in comparison to a special weapon (somber smithing stones). It apparently took you roughly 43 min to set up a +14 regular weapon, which was then further upgraded as you progressed throughout the game. A +9 special weapon early takes about 30 min to setup and is already good to go up until the very end. So yeah, it is pretty evident why the special weapons would be the choice for the newer routes, also taking the fact that there are some pretty OP ones (Sword of Night and Flame, Icerind Hatchet, etc.)
Sweden Norway and Finland, with exceptions dominate my game RuneScape. My money with out ever seeing your vids is you are one of the above. Ps my workmate loves this game
This was a fire run and I can see all sorts of build possibilities and routes to possibly make this go faster. I wonder if with Bleed being as potent as it is, we might see the dual scimitar start. Can't wait to see this game get a sub 2 hour run in the future.
sick run mate. how did u even have time to practice all the bosses. have my thumbs up. was thinking what weapon are he gonna go with for endgame. didnt see that one coming. WP
Hey, on the godskin duo, you could hit their corpse when they are falling, it reduces the general health bar and win some seconds ( 2:13:01 for example )
Omg! That was fast...i was watching yesterday Distortion2 saying that a speedrun of this game will take a few weeks at least to be done, and he knows his stuff about speedrunning souls games. And today, Bang, i saw your speedrun. Nicely done. U just made history if this is real.

Even after watching the Sub 30 min speed run that just happened with any%, I still think you have the fastest most legit speed run, although you used the exit game function a few times, most importantly you didn't die, you fought every major boss as far as I'm concerned, you showed your progression, I understood what was going on, I loved how sacrificed runes to get back to grace, I think it's a great function for speed runs like this, I would like to see more legitimate speed runs like this without any%, and without exiting to main screen, the fact you didn't die is very impressive, would be amazing to see a no damage run like this if possible.
@@MartelUX go watch an any% run that's under an hour, that's all they do, he did it 2-3 times, everyone else I've watched glitches the game way more, I was just saying, that this run its the most legit I've seen, I really wanna see a no glitch/hack run

@ true… but that death is well and truly necessary, and you get to keep your runes. I’m not sure if it’s worth it for the speedrun… have to figure out the value of 3200 runes that early on for ~1:00-1:30 time lost
The only problem being… if you kill the boss, you have to die to progress. If you lose to the boss, the “you died” screen never appears. So in a no-death run, you have to lose the fight.
I really appreciate you bro. That sword and shield attack really changed my perspective on how to approach fights between timing power attacks and even those wicked horse jump attacks. Every time he used suicide option is a death, and every time he exit the game and reloaded is a death, so he did die some just kinda rigged the game so we didn’t see defeat, but it’s still counts as deaths.
@@jameszezulinski what is that logic? Doesn't make sense
@@Floaydi you saw the same thing I did, in a corner surrounded by enemies, so he turns off the game, which is the same as just dying and respawning at the nearby grace, is a cop out move. Bring deathless means no reloading the game when in a tight spot, no suiciding to leave a cave faster, when ever you arrive at a grace with your runes gone is considered a death. The title should have said no boss deaths instead.
@@jameszezulinski oh like that yeah, didn't watch the full video since it's too long but when I hear save and quit in a souls gale i usually think of doors not enemies.
The run is probably experimental anyway and maybe he posted the best out of all of them
I'm so excited to see how the runs for this game develop, all bosses is going to be particularly interesting I think.
for sure there are like what over 80 bosses in the game? So its gonna be exiting to see someone do a speedrun on all of them ^_^
I don't think ya will see many all bosses. Or least every literal boss from the main runners. Think it will come down to great enemy. Or one of each variant.
@@randomdude4158 Don't think you understand the speed-run community, we will see many of them, of all boss, no boss, level 1, shield, no shield, etc...
@@nerdhunt yeah they love to torture themselves for that most satisfying high when completing it.
@A B nah my guess is around 5 or 6
This is like a guidebook in video form that I will come back to time and time again! There's gonna be a whole bunch of speedruns coming and it be very interesting to see how the runs develop, but this was the first I've seen, congrats bud!
I dont know about anyone else but the godskin duo fight had me stressed for this guy. Absolutely stunning run, the gamer community should seriously give you a graceful nod. Congrats on being the first speed run with no deaths in a staggering time. Of course I watched this cover to cover and with every swing from a bosses sword I felt my the pressure of overwhelming odds. I also congratulate you on keeping this OG with dark souls timing and striking and not cheesing the game.
I am glad to see that you enjoyed the run ^_^.
You spent as long on this entire run as I did on just Maliketh. Incredible run man, excited to see where this goes next!
I sent 4 hours stuck on Melania.. Then went to fight last boss and no hit run it ahahaha
Malekith sucks. Everything since fire giant feels just lazy programmed imo. Too much Recycling.
@@klausklausensen5042 I feel that. Only radagon and hoaroah loux are done well. The rest is just spammy scum combos which half of those attacks arent even dodgeable kek
@@klausklausensen5042 lmao the only bosses after fire giant but before Hourah Loux are Maliketh and Gideon (non optional bosses at least)

GREAT ENEMY SLAIN
By far the best run on UA-cam or available for that matter. No bs. No gimmicks. Raw progression and skill. Good job.
I just finished the game with 43 hrs on record. To think this guy finished it in such a short period of time without dying once is insane
almost lost it inside the mines and on the godskin duo fight. insane run. well played.
Wow! The Godskin fight felt so close..
and the Loux fight just reminds me how even with a sliver of health left some of these fights have the craziest of combos to instantly take that health bar down!
I know this was a no death run but god damn there were so many times I was like nooooo don’t die lmfao! Good job! New sub for sure!
I don’t play this game but the fact that people are constantly posting how hard this game is and to do this is simply amazing great work
im not sure if I'm more impressed you didn't die to draconic or the entire speed run, f that dude is difficult. amazing job ty for posting!!
Man you're crazy, i was struggling so much against Maliketh 2 hours ago (just finished the game) and you destroy it, amazing performance dude
Thank you ^_^
That edgy 666 damage against the second to last boss! *kiss* Perfection.
Crazy how he does more dmg than me and I'm fully upgraded =13 (for my area) lvl 62 Faith Build. God I hate this game sometimes. I hit Godfrey for maybe 180.
@@steve87j better gaming chair obviously 😂
I love that we r in the early stages of the speed run for this game, starting small (relatively speaking) with no death runs, evolving into no hit, no hit all bosses, and so much more, can’t wait.
A no hit run almost seems impossible maybe one day though
@@Londonlink it will definitely happen. People said the same about all souls games and sekiro
no hit runs will be complete RNG in this game but i dont think that would stop someone from trying
consumables only
This is amazing! A couple tips, though. If you hold down on the dpad it automatically goes to the first slot (flasks). And if you press Y, X, A on the map it quickly takes you to the round table hold without having to slowly move the cursor over there. Regardless great job this was truly epic. Some really nail biting moments in there
WOW!!! Just wow!!! There are so many things I’d love to comment on about the game but between all of that and you knocking this out in 2.5hrs all I can say is wow
What a god....just amazing to watch. Here everyone was thinking tree sentinel Halberd was going to be the any % strat.
Great run man, looking forward to how this game can me optimized and torn apart. Here's to a GDQ slot next year.
That Godskin Duo fight was pretty damn clutch. Really felt the stress just looking at it.
Good run, way to be the first to get it done. As other have said I’m so excited to see how your route evolves. I haven’t witnessed a speed run develop and I’m excited for the opportunity, good job again!
Bruh, you did in an hour what I spent 30 hrs doing. I got 100 hours in and NO WHERE near the end. Smh incredible incredible job!
wow, fantastic stuff. GGs on the godskin duo fight, no gimmicks just a good clean fight.
im already seeing major optimization potential
for example at 1:05, i personally have died much faster to the grafted scion so there's potential to save multiple seconds there
I wonder if you even need to die to the Scion at all? Couldn't you just yeet yourself into the abyss as soon as you exit the church?
@@TheResterian if AI gives u good scion scripting (ie it hits you right away and doesnt wait) its faster since you dont have to go through the you died screen to get to cutscene
@@TheResterian from experience, you have to pass some threshold or it will just respawn you in the church again. you can just throw yourself off after you get through to his little arena
@@xGodAlmighty I think you need the grafted scion to spawn (when the music starts and the boss health bar appear...)
You can start falling just before that happens.
It's a death, unlike getting defeated by Grafted Scion (which triggers when you have

This was crazy! Didnt thnk I would make it to the end but once you started I had to watch the rest of the journey! GG man!
Nice run !! even more awsome that it was uploaded 12 days ago. Good luck with future projects 👍👍👍
it took me 86 hours, this man did it in 2
Awesome run.
Quick tip for returning to Roundtable Hold: if you press Y to open sites of graces and then X you will be prompted to warp there without having to take the time to move the cursor across the entire map.
Now that is an awesome tip for speedruners ^_^
How tf did my mans not know this? Runs fake af.
@@dongliker ikr? It's almost like the game is still new.
@@Darksiege357 its fishy
this is insane I cant even comprehend how you did this this fast, games only been out a week!
If u think about it he did smart way don’t gona fight boss and die 20 time he collect all the items he want and make his Weapon stronger even the developers say before the game came out level is not everything u need know the game bout ya it is still fast he did a good job 👏🏿
I was almost crying watching Godskin duo boosfight, thankfully you survived🥺
This is absolutely amazing, but don't forget about your caasin!
Thank you very much (and I wont even though he will probably ask me to go bowling again :P)
Very impressive, very satisfying to watch, good job man very well done speedrun :)
damn i guess this is the first speedrun video for elden ring. Absolutely amazing!
thank you ^_^
man what a fun to watch....i love this guy....
Can't wait to see this game get a sub 2 hour run in the future.
might be for every boss but last two i tried bleed build and it really just doesnt hit as hard as using a real weapon
Its very close to being under 2 hours
2:28:07 imagine if you died because of that earthquake, jesus my heart was pumping watching this
13:38 😂😂😂 Night's cavalary went to the shadow realm
How did this happen? I don’t understand, cheating?
@@hourhour103 Very late answer but did you notice the stamina meter? He blocked night cavalry's attack and caused the fall.

sick run mate. how did u even have time to practice all the bosses. have my thumbs up. was thinking what weapon are he gonna go with for endgame. didnt see that one coming. WP
Hey, on the godskin duo, you could hit their corpse when they are falling, it reduces the general health bar and win some seconds ( 2:13:01 for example )
The good ol' Four Kings tech
That godskin duo fight was almost got me a hearthattack while watching. Gz brother.
You did what took me 90 hours in less than 3 and I’m upset and impressed at the same time
The real MVP: Spirit Jellyfish
Omg! That was fast...i was watching yesterday Distortion2 saying that a speedrun of this game will take a few weeks at least to be done, and he knows his stuff about speedrunning souls games. And today, Bang, i saw your speedrun. Nicely done. U just made history if this is real.
thank you and I am pretty sure that in time we will see speedruners get the time to under 1 hour like in ds3 ^_^
Impressive run man. The only thing that was a little weird for me is using save quits to avoid dying on a deathless run.
That's what I was thinking. Does it count as a no death run if the only reason you don't die is cause you quit when you're about to?
I enjoyed everything except that
Crazy how just a week later we've got a sub 1 hour run. This run gets extra credit for being without any major glitches though.
And no deaths. Damn
Dude!!! I don't watch speedruns, I don't know why I thought I would just "check" it for 10 mins and be gone from here but I was hooked! The fights were INTENSE! That Godskin Duo fight, wow!
Thank you, I am glad that you enjoyed the run and yeah my heart was racing during that Godskin Duo bossfight since they tend to stick together (also I am certain that the upcoming dlc offers boss fights that are just as challenging) ^_^.
Every time I see an impressive speedrun, I like to imagine the in-game character having an IQ of 300 -- outsmarting all opponents and environmental challenges with extreme ease.
Every time I see I speedrun, I like to imagine all the hard work and dedication that went into it, everyones diffefent tho🙄
That was mean

Agreed!
Where is you pfp from? Adventure time?
Nah, no need for commentary videos until runs become more refined. Better to just keep improving the runs, plenty of room to grow here.
Hell of a speed run, mate. Respect!
what a legend treasure in my heart deserved a like and sub well played
thank you so much for this video, it's really amazing how well you have pathed the mats and all, used it as a base and did a measly 4hrs on samurai dex build, but with a lot of deaths :'D gonna try to get that sub 3, and then maybe even sub 2,5 :D
You made this game look easy, and i know it's not at all, great video
Me after 2 hours: finally made my character!
Him after 2 hours: finally beat the game!
Alot of contradictions here. It's not legit if you quit to the main menu when you're about to die. Lost all credibility.
He died on the first boss though??
@@MartelUX go watch an any% run that's under an hour, that's all they do, he did it 2-3 times, everyone else I've watched glitches the game way more, I was just saying, that this run its the most legit I've seen, I really wanna see a no glitch/hack run
Didn’t play won’t play never watched anything else. Will watch this- treated it like a movie. Looks awesome
OMG, it begins already, I haven't even finish my first run thru
That final boss is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in a videogame.

Felicidades Bro :D
A month since speedrunning of Elden Ring has been pushed to the limits due glitches and glitchless speedruns unfortunatly revoles around 1 optimized start
I alwasy love to comeback to that video because how entertaining it is
Aslo i always forget where to get all smithing stones😅
bro knows victoria’s secret
On the map you can press Y then X to teleport to the roundtable save you moving your cursor.
For a no death run, seems like killing the first boss is essential, plus it gives 3200 runes. It’s pretty quick with vagabond parry/riposte halberd
@ true… but that death is well and truly necessary, and you get to keep your runes. I’m not sure if it’s worth it for the speedrun… have to figure out the value of 3200 runes that early on for ~1:00-1:30 time lost
He gets a free 47k from killing the horsemen at dragonborrow so it doesnt really matter
Even if its essential, you still need to jump off the ledge and result "you died" screen
If there is any hate ignore it people don’t know the grind it takes to become a beast at this game. I hope to take this information to finally beat milenia and hopefully get like you one day! Thanks for the vid, I’ll give you a sub!
Soo good, i love this and also the farewell at the end
Bro I was at the edge of my god damn seat with that Godskin Duo fight! Gg dude!
