The quality on this video was insane! My guess would be that Planet Zoo will see a slight increase in the overall percentage compared to Planet Coaster. Maybe an additional 25% or more?

@@PlanetPlipcam I saw the Frontier live broadcast a little while ago, where it showed an image of one of the Planet Zoo parks and said that it was only at 21%, this makes me think that we will still have a lot of space before we reach 100%.

@@PlanetPlipcam and I think that the zoo of the image was very, so knowing what was said in the frontier live, I came back happy and optimistic
Althought I think the limit makes sense,it should be the player's choice if they want good framerate or no limits,with and option in the menu and a warning should be enough to solve the problem.
A popular opinion for sure it would be so interesting to see how far we could get. 🙂

In all the time I've spent so far with Planet Coaster on my ps5 I've never hit the limit yet, so I'm not too worried about the build limit for Planet Zoo at the moment. Although I am hoping they learnt some tricks from their time developing Planet Coaster that let them possibly increase the build limit even further.

Ditto, I’ve never actually fully finished a park at 100% so I’m by no means worried about Planet Zoo.
Depends on how much scenery items you put. The game stops you at like 95% my friend reached it because he put a ton of scenery items on top of each other to make the objects look like something else.
It’s gonna take A LOT of building to reach that meter. If that screenshot is only 21% (or whatever it was), then there ain’t no way I’ll have to worry about that. Hopefully

Good video. Been waiting for this since planet coaster. Announcement then only 2 months to wait. Optimistic on the build counter but i do like my detail.

Great video bud. Definitely puts the creativity allowed in a better perspective. Being a more demanding game than PC, i could see how this can be an issue still for some, especially if you plan on getting all DLCs and wanting to create a mega zoo

Thank you so much! Those buildings were just blueprints from Planet Coaster Console to quickly demonstrate. I am pretty sure that the 3 pre order animals will not be available if you do not pre order, just like the PC version.
As you mentioned, the problem I see with the meter being only 21% full in the screenshot is that's it's lots of building pieces and hardly and animals or enclosures...
Add in 3-4 enclosures and maybe 10-15 animals into the photo and it would be more like 50% imo. Which is a shame as we won't be able to build giant parks..
I do have this game on pc but my pc is old and can't even run the game anymore and I don't have the money to buy or upgrade to a new pc, which is why I stick mainly to my ps5 and buying it again on console.. it is a shame but I'll still have fun playing it and I can always just build lots of smaller themed zoos rather then one massive one
Brilliant point well made! Will be really interesting to see how animals take up percentage. Maybe we might have to have fewer of the same animal in each habitat to enable having a more varied zoo!

my complexity meter is currently at 80% and i still have so much room to build with. side note, is my complexity meter being so full linked to the game lagging?
Tolles video. Selbst ein Pc kann keinen unendlich großen zoo bauen. Ab einem gewissen Punkt gehen auch dort die frames schnell runter. Viele mega zoos sind dann kaum noch ohne Abstürze spielbar. Ich glaube es wird beeindruckend. Die gleiche Angst hatte man damals vor dem flugsimulator auf der xbox. Es ist Wahnsinn was dort auf der konsole geschaffen wurde

I like to do a lot of building for pretty parks and big wildlife habitats. I just hope that the game will allow me to build like I do with Jurassic world evolution 2 by using half the animals and then big parks on my console Xbox S

Now, I’m not a console player I prefer PC but I wonder if console release will also increase Planet Zoo DLC sales as they release throughout the year?
That is a very good point, I can see the appeal for frontier to release new DLC to both consoles at the same time and even if not publicity will definitely make PC players more aware of what they are missing out on. Thanks for watching.

The complexity limit was a massive concern for me as the planet coaster limit REALLY hindered me and flat out made me stop playing. Hiwever seeing the amount thats able to be done in planet zoo is very reasuring. It looks like the limit is much larger and so long as i dont drown my parks with detial i should be able to still have fun building in challenge/franchsie mode
Interesting to hear Dominic! I was frustrated at not being able to build car parks/surroundings and backstage as much as I would have liked to. One of my car parks was 34%! Certainly looks more promising this time fingers crossed!
@@PlanetPlipcam I was building my way through a challenge park and I had only used about 1/5th maybe 1/6th of the park. And I wanted to make a mountain area. So I built a mountain and had a gondola 🚠 going up to it and when I tried to add anything else to the mountain I had hit the limit.
I have never hit the limit on planco. BUT i do not build interiors like gift shops/restaurants/ext…the pieces just aren’t there really. So i focus on the rides and exteriors. Planet zoo looks to have much smaller pieces available and interior details like restaurant condiments, kitchen pieces, drinks, ext. It wouldn’t surprise me if the same build size in planco was double the piece count in zoo due to the detailing of interiors. Im sure it will be fine. Even watching the spotlights by… say deladysigner she has to turn the guests off and pause it just to view the park. So i dont mind that theres a limit. That is all. Ha!

Does anyone know if planet zoo will have a guest maximum like the 4K guests of planet coaster?
On my series x there is no counter at all. Lets me build as much as i want until it just lags out

The beauty is that it’s a cross play workshop. I have always been team xbox myself but if you can save money might be worth it!

For sure I would think so. Lots of optimisation of pieces and the polygons to render them equalling less strain on the console.

Yes you can! Absolutely yes.
Once you hit the limit can you build another zoo, or is the limit account wide?
The limit is effective per park so you can build as many parks as you like

I would certainly hope so! Nothing confirmed yet tho :)
Remember that most zoos, even on pc, do have an eventual limit when you run out of ideas and create a new one, or the zoo becomes too laggy so you just make a new one (so you will still be able to re visit the zoo before without lag)

on PC there is no construction limit, if you mean limits of the fact that you no longer have ideas then that is a limit that you know, because you no longer have ideas
I was so excited that these games came to console, but this ruined my experience with planet coaster tbh and is the same reason i wont buy this one i think. I like to make a many themed park but as soon i started with theme 3 i got on the Oswald bs. Yeah i can make a less detailed park, but wheres the fun in that. Ive seen many crazy things on the console like on Cities skylines or Jurassic Evolution. But this company just cant do it properly on console.
Me too I frequently got 2 areas of the park done and then started to worry which ruined my motivation really to even attempt. Hopefully it’s much better here. Thanks for watching

Actually not. Example with touch path on Playstation not makes big things. But at lest can be adjustable. I mean is already can be viable but we should more options. Like rotation and the swnsibility of this.

@@isacco8908 Planet Zoo, like Coaster, has a complexity meter so the game can run well. So as you build and place down more materials, your meter eventually goes to 100% and you are, under normal circumstances with no exploits, can't build the park any further.
