- Elton John's "The Million Dollar Piano" is a residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I knew this was going to be my wedding song when I first heard it when I was around 8 years old. When I got married it was my wedding song in 1990. Now that, I left him in 2012 for personal reasons...and we both went our separate ways for several years, we have come back into each other's lives and are best friends. He now has Stage 3 Advanced Lung Cancer and is fighting for his life. This song has ALWAYS made me cry, happy and now sad tears. Please pray for him because I can't imagine my life without him! This will ALWAYS be our song!

Very rarely, I feel proud to be human. Listening to this song makes me. Not because I had much quality or skills I could be proud of .. but because I recognize that _some_ of us have them. Then I feel I belong to a group of beings that can use their quality not just to destroy or exploit, but to create masterpieces of Music and Art that touch us where it really counts - in our hearts.

SE Hinton was 15 in Oklahoma in the 1960s when she wrote the novel The Outsiders (Hamlet) and 19 when she wrote That Was Then, This Is Now (King Lear). She used her initials because of the belief her audience would be prejudiced if it was known she was not a guy. I believe she married the special guy who got her out of her writer's block at 19 by insisting she write a page a day. She became a nurse.

There is no greater entertainer than Elton John. There are some who are as great, but no one is greater.
This amazing song reminds me of love and my first boyfriend? It holds a special place in my heart and I got to see Sir Elton John soon after I first heard it. He was like magic to my ears! His incredible voice and piano playing became a life long memory to me! At 71 I still get so nostalgic hearing this enduring, beautiful song and I will always respect his talent and years of enjoying his music! What a gem he is to the music industry! There will only be one Elton John ever. He has been astonishing in every song thereafter and of course kudos to Bernie Taupin. Both so impressive!
Had his 1st album and sang this to my 1st girlfriend. She loved me but I moved on, this song always reminds me of her. She was a good woman, saw her recently after 40 yrs, she wanted to get back together, but I couldn't, what we had once was gone, but what we did have was good.

My sister saw him at Atlanta airport and sat and chatted with him for a while, like he had all the time in the world. My neighbour used to play "My sacrifice" every morning when I was like very young. I used to hate him for that disturbance and later I decided I will never like this singer Elton john. But as I grew older and listened to so many artists, I found out that Sir Elton john has sung some of the most beautiful songs ever. Tiny dancer will be one of the best songs ever and for now I'm missing my love listening to this song, She's struggling with covid, lost both her Mom and dad in just three days and now she's fighting covid with her brother in hospital. When I was in college our radio station ran a week long fund raiser. I wound up with the last 2 shifts which was from saturday night at 11pm to sunday morning at 8 am. It was a hell of a night since in those days no one played music at that tie because everyone had to do public service as well as signing off for maintenance. I ended the radiothon with Your Song. Then I cried for about 10 minutes.

Saw him at the Target Center when he came through around a year ago, and I gotta say I'm jealous you can see him at the Xcel. Incredible show, which can only be made better by the sound quality of the X over the Target Center. Might have to buy tickets again.... You'll never regret the money you spent on that show

I purchased two tickets at $695 a piece, but I am dead center near the very front. I paid a lot of money but we will be in the sweat-splatter zone, so it will be well worth it!!
