Fabulous idea, I'm going to share this video to my craft group ,lots of ladies on their struggling with being able to afford to craft now cost of living is up , I'm going to suggest upcycling old handbags and this project will be perfect, thanks again for a great project.
I love watching your videos! I have a ton of fabric swatches and am always looking for ideas of how to use them so they don’t end up in the land fill. Please keep the ideas coming and thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Sooo cute, but i didn't sew the line in 1 cm, because it looks not so good on the backside. Lovely greetings from cologne send you Danni, I love your videos. Thank you sooo sooo much.
this is an excellent video that will allow me to make additional items with the vinyl I have . In the past I made golf tee pouches that everyone loved but now the wallet/gift card holder will be a nice addition to the items I make. I love your videos and have learned some nice tips along the way. Thank you again for showing all of the great items you create.
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs very easy to make with the zipper 1 inch from the top of the pouch. I used 1 inch twill to hold the key ring and attached a carabiner. I sold them with 5 golf tees included in the pouch
That’s a lovely quick make, going to make some when I have got some vinyl, ideal for lunch money for school kids.Thank you for sharing and making it easy to follow
Thank you so much! I have been looking for this pattern for years. My favorite little card wallet is just like this. I have never made a wallet/purse project. Could you please do this pattern with lined cotton? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again for all you do.
Hi Christine. Thank you for this tutorial. I've been wanting to make a credit card wallet for my husband but with 6 card slots. I tried to make the whole thing in vinyl but becomes too bulky so was thinking of having the folds/slots in material with just the outer in vinyl. Could you give me a tutorial in how to do this? Thank you. PS. I am in South Africa and find your tutorials the best. Your detailed instructions are awesome. ❤
Hi I love your tutorials and I’m wondering if you can make a cove for medication case using the vinyl? I have the little plastic square case with 7 little snaps pockets or any style? What I need help with is how to make the cover, with Velcro or snap. These little snaps on the case open when it’s in purse and all the pills fall out. Please advice! Thanking you in advance!
Christine,. What a great idea. I've been thinking about how to make with cotton using interfacing, lining and princess's seam. Have to make it a bit bigger due to the seams, but should work to make one a little more feminine that just holds a few cards. Thank you so much
I make tampon pouches very similar for my homeless packs and they are cotton, I interface and sew my pieces together right sides together her b4 I construct, so they can be sewn up exactly the way the vinyl ones can when I use my swatches,I don't see why this couldn't be done the same way.
What size needle? What size snap - 3/8" or 5/8"? My denim needle had trouble going through four layers of fabric much less vinyl. Thank you for showing this.
Hi Christine, thank you for yet another handy tutorial. I think these would also make a lovely way of giving a gift voucher. I have a request: could you show how to chart a pattern for a cup holder? My daughter has a reusable Starbucks coffee cup, no handle, just sloping sides. And she wants me to make a holder.... I would also like your opinion on something, I make bags and use my own labels. But sometimes I get sent fabric to make a custom bag. Should I still put my label on? What do you think? I love your videos, thank you for all the work you put into them. Happy stitching, Diane
Hi Diane, I've added the cup holder to my list. I'd still put a label on custom jobs, but depending on the label, I'd probably put it on the inside just in case the client prefers that it's not seen. 😀
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your skills.
You're very welcome jess 😊

Hi Christine, another awesome job, thank you. If you could think of more manly things that would be great for my markets…..have a great night/day xxxx
Thanks Tracey. I've struggled to come up with things the men would like, but I'll keep at it 😀

I have some coated canvas with obvious logo, this would be a perfect item to make with it to give as gift card holders for the ladies.
It certainly would be Sandi 😀

Golf tees are a great idea Sue. I might have to figure out a little pattern for them, and see how they go in the shop 🤣

Great suggestion Betty. Do you have photo you can email me? Or even a drawing of what you'd like?😀
Love the human factor mistake!
I certainly make plenty of those😁

I think you're right there. I was almost going to make this a hygiene wallet, but father's Day won out 🙂
That's a great idea Karen. Hand made's reply would work for this 😁
So very cute and quick!
They sure are Sophia. Thank you 😀

At the time, I used a 90/14 universal needle. Not sure what size snaps I use though. I'm away for a few days at the moment😁

@@ChristinesHomeAffairs Thank you Christine. I think placing the label on the inside makes good sense. I'll do that next time. Happy stitching, Diane
Awesome do you need a special needle
I usually just use a 90/14 or 100/16 universal needle Tracey😀
Hi, thanks for the tutorial.
So you don't put labels on those, just the card inside?
xxx
Cilou
Not on these ones Cilou. I felt the label was too big for such a small item 🙂
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs makes sense
two for $22 at Walmart here in Canada!!!!!
Wow, I struggle to sell them for $5 each😁
🥰🦋🌈🦋🥰
Where do you buy the snaps?
Bonnie, I've popped a link to the snaps in the description below this video 😀
Christine, what size needle did you use?
Vicki, I usually use 90/14 or 100/16 universal needles 😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs thank you!
