WHAT?? That's crazy!!! I'm so glad that I went out to buy one. I've also been wanting to do polymer clay stuff and now I can use my Melting Pot as the oven!!!
Thank you for sharing this! I had picked up on Suze's comment too, but I have not tried this yet. I am going to try making molds and playing with the Skulpey!
Thanks for the tip !! I always put the clay in my oven and never knew that you could use the melting pot. I am going to pull mine out and give it a try. TFS !!
I think that this cameos look better with the clay i like the utee too but i like them more with clay so im going to try the clay thanks for showing all this beautiful ideas
@cheri7495 hmmm not sure...never tried...I'm guessing you have to put cornstarch or baby powder into the mold prior to putting the new clay inside or it might stick
@very0521 The cameo detail did come out much better but in part may just be my pouring it wrong initially. The buttons all come out identical. Clay is just a little heavier than the UTEE
Thanks for the tip! Polymer clay fumes when burnt are toxic--so airing out your house is a must!
The cameo with the butterfly turned out gorgeous!
Good to know really enjoying your tutorials! Thanks for Sharing

@1966Allyson it takes a bit longer but it works great :)
@cricutologist32820 it takes just a little longer (probably because I'm sitting there impatiently opening and closing the lid)
