Nice tips and fun model. Quick question, how to model this tilted „colums” on side of model? Are they extruded with angle or cut?

Thanks. Been a minute since I did that one, but if I did it again I would extrude the whole column out, do isoparam (cut face) then rotate upper face with pivot point on new edge.

Thanks for these tips! Perhaps you can help - one thing I would like to do is change the hotkey for the command menu (default being F). Unlike the other operations and commands, I can't see a way to do this. I would dearly love to change this menu shortcut to be the TAB key, and use F for 'focus' instead (inline with some other 3D software I use).
    Cheers and subscribed :)

That key is a bit tricky. Looks like you have to play with the key binding file. Someone took a crack at it last year on discord you might take a look there. discord.com/channels/893157887847845908/937291817056092240/1080532423185535056

How is Plasticity supposed to be used ? A replacement for Fusion 360 ?

Plasticity is Designed for Artist in Mind. You can do a lot of CAD features quickly without some of the Hoops you have to jump through with other CAD software, also not a Subscription. For me I dont need all the bells and whistles in Fusion, Plasticity works for me. You can always try the Demo and see if its good for what you do.

@@Glenn3D1993 thanks for this response. I bought a pro version of Plasticity a year or so ago to support it and to have access to this software, havent used it much as I waited for it to mature. It seems now its time to go back to it and give it a chance? I specifically would like to use it to build models that I can bring into Blender to unwrap UV and texture and then export to UE5

Plasticity has matured well the past year. Nick has listened to the community about which features are needed. Personally I haven’t jumped down the rabbit hole on UVing in Blender yet, but some have on the Discord with descent results. I’ll get there eventually lol.
