I love the design and it's my next laptop, but even if the charging port is built by the side it won't still hinder the convertibility of the laptop. I have Envy X360 and it's by the side.

Even if it is in the side wont make any disturbance. There are many brands which comes with side charging port and L shape pin which will not have any problem while folding as well. Spector design is not game changer invention

Dude your CPU is not alright. Try something with the letter H or P at the end. U indicates CPU for daily/regUlar usage (i.e. Internet Browsing, MS Word, Excel, etc.), P indicates CPU for Professional work (i.e. Photoshop, Video Editing, etc.) and H indicates for Heavy usage (i.e. Gaming, Rendering 3D models, Animation/VFX, etc.).

I am sorry i seen many of these in my repair business.
Charging port fails and difficult to replace, hinges get stuck a break. Screens when cracked is so exspenive for a new panel and motherboard has little upgradability.

A cheaper spec Asus ROG Flow X13 just makes that range =) , after that would be the HP Evny x360 2in1. If need discrete graphics which the HP Envy doesn't have then I think Acer Nitro is in that price range.
