Hi everyone, thanks for watching! If you are interested in purchasing this laptop you can find the product links in the video description alongside other helpful information.
Nice review 👍 Do you find the display to be bright enough? 400 nits isn’t on the high end, only thing keeping me from buying this laptop rn as it’s on a massive discount.
I noticed one of the review stated that they couldn't open the laptop with one finger (I believe the zenbook can be opened with one finger). Wondering if you experienced this too?
Thanks for your great reviews. I’ve had a Spectre for seven years and have loved it. Needs replacing now and a bit out of my budget unfortunately but will have another one in future.
3:19 you don't understand HP line to say this. As a 3 time ENVY user now looking to up to Spectre, the Spectre is the PREMIUM line, so all those ports are a no, especially HDMI, even DP. This is a PREMIUM BUSINESS 1 cable solution with thunderbolt for power, display and data. You want all those ports, then go to the ENVY line. However, the 16" gives a bit more port options in the Spectre line.
I had recently bought the 16 inch version. The sound is great, especially when pairing with my bluetooth headphone. The only downside is it does not have the number pad, plus the included stylus lack the bluetooth feature/functions which I came to like from my other devices.
I know this is selfish of me but could you test valorant fps on your laptop please? I am planning on buying the 16 inch as well and I play some casual valorant so would love to know how it performs...
@@HarshChavan2211 Hi sorry for the long silence. i had been trying to play the game after installing, but kept on receiving error messages upon launching it. May have to uninstall and reinstall it.😪
I noticed HP Spectre X360 2024 has two variants - 14 inch (as shown in this video) and 16 inch variant. Wondering if you had any thoughts around the 14 inch vs it's 16 inch variant?
Hey brother could you please tell me Hp Spectre X360 vs Samsung book 4 pro 360 Which one is better I'm totally confused 😕 Please mention any benefit with going the better one Some people saying that in India Samsung has some repair issues or its parts is not easily available if it goes into any problem . Because Samsung is new in Laptop field. Please reply 🙏
Buy the Spectre. I have the Samsung Book 4 pro and it the screen breaks easily and it's not covered by the guarantee. There have been lots of cases of this happening to people. Just search on google Samsung Book broke screen.
Buddy you should've mentioned that HP has included an Adapter in the Box. USB-C to 2 USB-As and 1 HDMI Port Dongle. Or is it region-specific? My father got the Spectre x360 14 a few days ago. i7/32GB/1TB Blue model. I think its gorgeous. Not as gorgeous as my XPS 13 Plus, but it has solid Performance and Battery life. Also love the lighting of the Pen when its being charged lol.
@@SoulOfTech this sum shit. In America, people get 2 dongles bruh. And I just called the Core Ultra 7 as i7. Bruh why tf did Intel and Elon have to rename some of the most iconic names. X is shit. I noticed some reviews stating that there's palm rejection issues on the trackpad (granted those reviews were over 2 months old). Wondering if you experienced this too?
Hey, Based on my testing the issue seems to be primarily resolved. There was not any noticeable interference to the track pad when typing, I am assuming this was patched via updates prior to my review.
Hey thanks for watching! The standard Zenbook technically competes more so with the HP Envy series. It offers similar specs and performs just as well to be honest though the specter does feel more well built.
Great question, while its very difficult to compare an iGPU to a Discrete one due to the technical differences for comparisons sake the current gen ARC i-GPU would fall just below a stock GTX1650 in terms of performance. The RTX 2060 would be about twice as more capable than the ARC technically.
In my opinion, bot are incredible but if you dont get bored After a while of a scecific color, you can go save with the Blue, but if you're like me that After a while get bored of a specific color i Will sure Pick the black One, cause its a Classic and Will look beautifull Forever, plus, the black Doesnt reflect much on the screen (p.s. Sorry for the bad english but It 's not my First language)
I have owned the 16" version of this for a year and regret buying it. It has one major issue, when you have the settings set for a single tap instead as well as a click of the lower left of the touch pad to click on anything you want to open, it sensitizes the touch pad to the point of just moving the cursor around it will, on it's own, click a link you don't want opened. I have the touch pad set to the lowest sensitivity setting and this still occurs. In 3 different chats I was given 3 different ways to correct it. All 3 times it worked except over time it goes back to where it does the same thing. If I turn off the tap it stops but why should I have to deal with clicking every time? Obviously HP knows somethings wrong if they had fixes. I should have returned the thing early and asked for my money back. Maybe after a year they have fixed this but beware of the issue.
I bought one of these a year ago and regret it. For some reason if you have it on single tap to click with your cursor, it over sensitizes the touch pad. Just dragging the cursor across the screen it will on it's own click a link you go over. It of course stops if I turn off the single click option but why should you have to click and not tap? And yes, the touch pad sensitivity is set to it's lowest setting. 3 chat conversations on the issue resulted in 3 different fixes all of which worked but slowly returned to it's previous state after a matter of 10 or 11 hours of use. Obviously HP knows it's an issue if they had fixes but none of which offer a permanent fix. I also have an issue of the cursor "jumping", like typing an email and looking up and seeing for some reason during my typing the cursor jumped to another location.Buyer be cautious of this, it's a real pain.
The version I reviewed did not. It is possible some variants in some region may have additional accessories. I would check the official site of the vendor you are buying from.
Buy once, cry once. I've learned that the hard way by cheaping out initially and then wanting an upgrade a couple years down the line. It's much better to just buy something nice from the get go and keep it for a long time.
It is a premium ultrabook 2-in-1, so this is within that price range. You will have to buy mid-range or budget to get cheaper prices and lesser quality.
It's not though...It's currently on a nice sale at HP. At the end of the day, you either go premium or you go cheap like MSI. You get what you pay for.
It's on sale at best buy with $1000 off (7/23/2024). $999 all in. Too bad this isn't the laptop I need.... Cross shopping with Samsung book4 pro 360, I have a Samsung phone, watch, headphones, tablet, sound bar. I'm saving up to get that Samsung military tank they make for the Korean army.

crazy good review. where can i find your wallpaper
Can you turn off the touchpad if you wanted to use an external mouse?
I own one and love everything about it, other than the size of the top and bottom screen bezel. Way too much bezel for a premium laptop in 2024.
I own one too, it's a great little device. Yeah, they should just replace bezels with extra screen. How hard can it be.
No working adult with a professional job cares about Bezels...
Great review and finally someone who also mentioned that it is also fir programmers! I only hear nothing about the stylus

There has never been palm rejection issues with the HP Spectre which is why you didn't name the reviews claiming such nonsense...
Do you think 16gb is enough for this laptop for general use (lots of browser tabs, spotify/yt, discord, etc)? Or go for 32gb?
16 should be fine
I bought this laptop. The display has a visible gray mesh layer when looked at closely. It's annoying. Pure white isn't available, only light gray.

Not even close.

Please report the results of a standardized battery test.
Ideally, PC Mark 10s battery test which shows the laptop's battery lasts around 15 hours.

Do you think the Ultra 5 is more stable than the Ultra 7? 🤔

this is a different model than the 2023 one. haptic touchpad very adjustable.
Please explain why any rational person would use a track pad on the touch screen laptop with pen support?
