@@thedittogod5478 Looks cheap? What are you on? It's beautiful!! Feels cheap? I absolutely GUARANTEE you have never even touched one, much less been in one.
Let's go, Vector W8! I've loved that car ever since Gran Truismo 2, thought it was the craziest looking thing ever and still my favorite American car ever. Too bad the transmission is complete rubbish. Love the '05 GT, '08 ACR, and '09 ZR1 too... underrated trio from the 2000s. The latter I'd actually call the first Corvette supercar.
Honestly, I think the W8 as a whole makes sense - even the three-speed. Think about it, it's a twin-turbo TPI V8 with extreme torque and only 2-wheel-drive. Transmission durability is much more important to the car than close gear ratios - and it still manages a 4-second 0-60.
I personally think you the Falcon should have been swapped with the Dodge Viper ACR. The Viper ACR was at it's time an incredible track tool, it was an American V10 (which admittedly doesn't sound nice but still), and all of that with the engine in the front and driver behind it. Do I even have to mention these gorgeous proportions? I do agree with the new GT though, it's stunning looking, and I personally think the V6 is always better than a V8, however it's a thoroughbred track car, like an SVJ just with a more attractive exterior.
I love it when the highly criticized American supercars beats the crap of the European supercars in endurance racing. And they have been doing it on /off for years. And I am European
I've always been a huge fan of Corvettes, but I totally disagree with the ideas behind the C8. I'm not saying it's a bad car. I've tested it for some laps on the Nurburgring, and it's a slayer. But The design is more like an American F458 Italia than what were the old corvettes. The C6 and C7 will forever be the *real* Corvettes imho.
I don't know, I kinda prefer the F5's design over the Tuatara. I guess the clamshells are really cool, but it's the kind of edgy that has no chance of aging well. It also doesn't sound quite like the F5 does. Respect for elevating the S7, though. Love that thing. Would be awesome if they supercharged it instead.
Great list. American may not have many super cars but the cars we do have are amazing. I still remember seeing the Vector in person back in the day at an air show. That car had presence! The Czinger 21C deserves a spot on the list and I definitely would have added one of the Dodge Vipers. Also, an American supercar that gets criminally overlooked is the Rezvani Beast Alpha. That car is light, fast, beautiful to look at and comes in a 6-speed manual. Keep up the great work. Subscribed! Can't believe I forgot the De Tamoso Pantera. That American supercar gave the Countach a run for its money.
there is a video on the SSC's instagram of the Tuatara engine reaching 1890hp and its latest run clocked in at 295mph and the Tuatara was still pulling at a good pace
I think the Shelby cobra GT, and the original ford GT40 from the 60s deserve a spot on here. They really changed how supercars were designed, and had a huge role in automotive history!
Completely agree on the Saleen S7. My absolute dream car as a teen and still to this day, honestly. I had the good fortune of owning the next best thing in my mind, an '02 Saleen S281SC Mustang. Factory supercharged 5-speed, my "budget supercar" as I called it. Unfortunately, I lost it a few years back after a truck turned in front of me, but definitely made some memories in that car. Met Steve Saleen a number of times, nice guy.
I really enjoy the list given. They are my favorite ones. Including the ones you would guess. I don’t know what the third one is so I might need a little more time analyzing it. I like calling the Tuatara: “The Mrr’can fighter jet”, Venom F5: “The Killer Evija,” and the Venom GT: “The Killer Elise.”

My family aome5imes think I've gone crazy when i laugh listening to the way you roast cars, their desgners and makers. I used to be a very moody person but your videos has brought out a different and a better person in me. Thanks for the videos and never stop making them.
The other 3 Supercars on the list are of course the final gen Dodge Viper (looks like the TA variant), Vector M12, and the Glickenhaus SCG 004. As for the list, I agree with the choices for the most part. The Ford GT and Saleen S7 were 2 cars that I loved very much since I was a kid. I even still love the new Ford GT, but that's because Ford made it with a similar mentality to the original GT40, a race car for the road. Though I personally prefer the final gen Viper ACR to the Falcon F7. I'm aware that you said it's a track car, but that's the thing. Supercars sometimes can also be track cars and the Viper ACR fits that bill. A couple more cars I have on my own list of best American Supercars include the Mosler MT900S and the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 road car.
Thank you for finally giving the S7 the recognition it needs. so many people i know either dont know what it is or just think its a 200 somthin mph car. It hauls so much ass and looks sexy while doing it
The Ford GT is my personal favorite because it was purpose built for a race course. The history is also amazing. That said, its hard to pick between all the generations. They all have their own "special attributes" and would love to own all generations one day. I am a little saddened the new MKII Ford Gt was not listed, but I also understand why. The MKII can run circles are around the McLaren Senna on the track, but it is not road legal. None the less, it is still an American racecar that should've been at least mentioned.
My personal favorite supercar is the Corvette C6 ZR1. Some may say it's not a real supercar, but to me it has all the factors to call it one. Back in 2009 it was so fast, only the 911 GT2 RS could match it on the Nürburgring and on the 0-300 kph time. Hell, it was almost as fast as a Ferrari Enzo! Let that sink in for a second.
Hey TopCars TV Can you do a video on controversial designs that turn out great on cars? ( in terms of mechanical, exterior, interior, concept, etc ) Such as the first Porsche Targa with the targa top
I will never let go the Saleen s7 LM from my dream cars list, for those who are wondering, here it is: - GR Yaris RB - Saleen S7 LM - Lamborghini sesto elemento
If concepts could count I'd have to say the Chrysler ME-412, Cadillac Cien or the Ford GT90. True American supercars that had mind-bogglingly quick numbers for their time and looked amazing, especially the GT90.
I'm ok for the most part with your list. Definitely agree with the Saleen in first place. I'd have to drop one in the rankings or make the Saleen #1a because no American supercar list should be without the Shelby Cobras. I'd rank any version #1b. Especially the 427 Competition. The first true Supercar that could outperform any Ferrari, Corvette, or Jaguar. Any car period. Its performance was still relevant 30 years after it was first built.
@@TopCarsTV outside of the Corvette, Venom, and Ford GT, everyone of those cars are shells with a bunch of American engines and other parts. The Shelby Cobra is an all American car with an American reinforced body. The AC was a crappy English car with a weak body and power train that Carroll Shelby turned into something that only shared appearances with.
