- Jeep has had some innovative and very forward thinking concept vehicles over its 76 year history. Here's a list of the 5 craziest of those many Jeep concept vehicles. Most of these on the list you probably didn't know existed.

Those 1970s XJ001 and XJ002 would have taken AMC into the big 4.Well... with doors they would have. But they were possibly dangerous, which makes me want one more. lol

I love this channel and I am a subscriber. Great content in the video but the constant zooming and panning makes it hard to truly appreciate the photos.
I liked all of them- last one was a bit odd though. I read that MB was going to install their diesels in some models. Too bad that died!
That widetrac looked cool
The design would be inspired by the custom car world 5 yrs later when dodge created the deora, which became a Hot Wheels icon.

there was a late 80's concept that was front wheel drive. but I havent seen much info on it.
You forgot a concept jeep its a wrangler jeep with a hellcat engine i dont know what its called but it wouldve been the coolest and fastest jeep ever made

In the late 70s and early 80s yes the jeep 2 wouldn't be a great idea but in today's days if jeep makes the jeep 2 as a mini wrangler then it will sell
#4, the Jeep II should have been made and AMC was a bunch of morons for cancelling the idea. There was nothing that was wrong with that vehicle and it filled a need for consumers.

#2, yeah, like a sports car based upon a Jeep platform would ever be good on either off-road OR street capabilities? What were these morons smoking when they came up with the Jeep Bolide? Between not being very good at either being a sports car OR a Jeep and being uglier than even the Pontiac Aztek, why should ANYONE have bought a Jeep Bolide, anyway?

Who would buy a Jeep? My bro bought one years ago and he sold it (thank God). The ride was worse than a lowrider on uneven bricks. They are dangerous, ugly, and useless. If you want to offroad take a Land Cruiser!
+thatallredheadude The Jeep Compass is the worst selling car in America. Jeep Patriot #3. Jeep Cherokee #15. I even rented a Jeep Patriot on Vacation and it was the slowest car I have ever been in.
