This is actually insane, I always wished for good redstone paint, but it always seemed impossible to do with convenient UI, but you guys did it with actual tools and tablet to draw and everything IN 24 HOURS. Also your vids on binary and stuff actually helped me understand some of the concepts in cs that i thought were just too difficult for my small brain to understand, you're awesome :P
The quality of these videos is insane. The videos super entertaining very engaging and clear and easy to understand. You guys did an amazing job and I look forward to seeing your future projects.
This is insane...It’s impressive how much y’all were able to get done in that time! I mean I can't even make a simple redstone door and you made this insane thing, it just blows my mind! You guys did an amazing job!
That is mind blowing. Please do redstone computer tutorials. (You already did ALUs, RAM, ROM, and many other things, but just small stuff like flip flops and pointers and program counters.
pointers are just where you use the value of one register (or memory location, etc) as the address for accessing memory. if location 4 contains a 7, then using location 4 as a pointer will actually read from address 7
@@averagecodegame oh, i can break it down into smaller steps to recreate but without knowing what your build looks like its hard to say how to build it. using register x (Rx) as a pointer to a memory location, load Rx onto the bus and write to the memory address register, then read memory to the bus and the location pointed to by Rx has been read to the bus

i have no clue how you make your stuff so organized. when i tried organizing my projects everything just got so cluttered and it was impossible to hook everything up to the output system i had made...
Bruh, i’ve only known you for 2 days and already addicted to the channel, came here for a seven segment display for my calculator and found all sorts of stuff. you earned a new sub!
Bro, last week I spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to make a 2 x 2 pisten door, and you guys are freaking doing rocket science in minecraft within minutes.
I designed my own input system. It uses signal strength :) You start with the 16×16 square of tripwire. A player always stands in a rectangle. You can measure the corners of the rectangle using four signal strength inputs. This allows for tiny input. You transmit everything using instant comparators, because saying something is instant sounds cool!
The latency has improved so much I imagine you could increase the size of the screen without increasing the display cable. It would control it in quadrants and switch between it on an interval that you'd have to manually time
Best. Redstoner. ever. You guys are the literal Greek gods of Minecraft. The amount of thought and care put into these builds is insane. You guys coded programs and ROMS in a block game? How. My mind is blown, and I truly believe that I have witnessed a work of gods.
Hey, I got a question. Could you do a more in depth memory operations video? I'm not a redstone pro, but i was trying to make a stationary noteblock player - have all noteblocks in one place, and memory-driven redstone pulse generator held seperately, instead of having these long lines of noteblocks - too much walking for listeners, especially for long songs. This, if it worked, would have eliminated the large part of sound delay or muting (due to distance). OFC, the way I see it, every song would need 4 memory modules, bc I think the memory you used last video had a latency of 4 (so 4 memory blocks with 1 delay between them would be needed?). Encoding could be painful as well, unless I managed to keep the copy - the only way I thought of was adding a backup copy of all memory that would be written as the main is read, and copied back when done... I probably have a bunch of research to do yet, but do you see any simpler way to do that? Currently my idea seems kind of... big. ~1600 noteblocks (which, to be fair can be cut down - i do not need every instrument, perhaps 2 or 3), a lot of wire, and the memory itself... well, a bit clunky.
@@thethree13o I meant like a computer with an actual OS like we have in the real world (and since it could be hard with redstone delays that's why I was talking about a potential mod to solve that)
this reminds me so much of my Arduino microcontroller programming, UI, binary numbers and almost everything is on the same working principle (for the example: image on the OLED screen, the program is the same with binary numbers as redstone lamp switch what you showed up)!!!!!
