- The Sub Zero of this timeline is not Kuai Lang. It is Bihan, and he is broodier than ever. He fights for a noble cause, but he will betray or destroy anyone to achieve his goals and enjoys mocking his enemies.

I don't know why, but when Reiko asks Sub-Zero if he let his father die, he sounds REALLY pissed off. Maybe it's because Reiko, despite his aggressive fanatism, respects the father figures in his life.
Well his parents were killed and Shao took him in and acted as a surrogate father, so the concept of letting your parent die is inconceivable even to a maniac like him
Bi-Han is currently the epitome of “look how they massacred my boy.”
Even in MK9 he was less "I'm evil." than he is in this game.
It's like Liu Kang tried to fix Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung, but had no clue Bi-Han was a jerk.
And that was already a stretch. In MK1, all we knew about Bi-Han is that he is an assassin, and that he retires in his ending after killing Shang Tsung. But since he became Noob Saibot, Netherrealm thought that evil was his character. And that's how we got MK9, where he is a jerk, but even then he has some sense, calling Quan Chi's lie while pleading for his life. But today's Netherrealm is like "nah bruh bi han is bad okay?".
@@maxmercurythemm827 it would have been fine if they at least gave him a valid reason for going rogue as well as some redeeming qualities making him morally grey. But they decided to go full stock villain on him

That’s 4thSnakes’ bars. Even he didn’t know that in MK2 story, when kuai liang was revealed as the new Sub-Zero, scorpion knew that it was a different Sub-Zero because he showed mercy and spared him. Suggesting that it was something Bi-Han wouldn’t do. The Bi-Han being an asshole thing didn’t start because of noob saibot, at least completely.

I love that they made him so edgy. Badass, even. Though sucks that in the story Bi Han had that "benevolent asshole" vibe all along until writers decided to suddenly make him a bad guy. I mean, he's been with his Lin Kuei brothers all his life, even while despicing Liu Kang he followed his orders, and then suddenly he's a traitor. That really felt out of pocket imo. Pretty damn sure if Liu and Bi Han would sat at a table and calmly discussed their situation, the whole conflict would be resolved quickly.
In this timeline Bi-Han didn't need to die to become Noob Saibot.

His most evil lines were him saying that tarkatans should be T4'd (look up what was directed from Tiergartenstraße 4 in the 1940s😨), his racism against Zeterrans and his attitude towards his step brother Tomas ("not Lin Kuei blood"?! Damn, this punk's a Lin Kuei supremacist😱). This man's a right shitheel in MK1 (but he at least won't turn his Lin Kuei colleagues into soulless cyborgs).

@@borisbaran I just think that, if they implemented these robotic soldiers at all, and the fact that we have cyborg Sector and Cyrax in the game, plus that Netherrealm wants to make some events in their universe unavailable, such as blind Kenshi, evil Shao, Baraka and Mileena being tarkatan, etc, I'm 100% sure they won't cut out Cyborg Lin Kuei, not to mention they are very popular, too.
I gotta say, the 2 line intros feel so much more natural than the 3 line ones.
