MK1: Havik Hates EVERYONE (Literally)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- Havik isn't the best at taking criticism, but he's in the running for dishing it out. He has pure resentment to every single fighter on the roster for one reason or another.
VGM: Mortal Kombat Deception: Prison/Hell's Foundry
A true example of “Everyone’s for the people until they are in power”
Real life communists be like that. I mean, the capitalists are like that too, but not as much hypocritical as the communists.
@@nhatvu8800 He's an anarchist not a communist
@@nhatvu8800there's a difference between an anarchist and a communist. Anarchy is when there is no government, communism is when nobody has private property and there isn't a class system (I wish there wasn't a class system myself, but I don't want the government to own everything either). These are simple definitions, though.
@@aqualinebutbetter anarchy will end up in some kind of government, it's not sustainable
@@aqualinebutbetter I'm from a communist country. I have lived in both a communist country and a capitalist country. You don't have to teach me the difference between anarchy and communism. I'm just saying the communists (and the capitalists too) be like what the first guy said: " Everyone’s for the people until they are in power”.
Spoiler: class system exists in communist/socialist societies, despite what the communists tell you. In fact, the gaps between the social classes in a communist country are often greater than the gaps between social classes in a capitalists country.
*Little kid walks by with a balloon*
Havik: The air in the balloon must be free, you will pay child!
Literally 😭
Order is enslavement
He's kinda like the people that take freedom to the max even if it endangers others
Which makes his stance slightly counterintuitive. Air outside the balloon is still inside our planet, our planet inside a galaxy, a galaxy inside our universe.
Everything that exists is bound by something whether a physical or conceptual law, hence nothing is truly free.
By this logic, if Havik dislikes objects that are trapped or bound by something, then he literally hates anything and everything, including himself because his existence is bound by something (laws, life, etc.)
@@TheUltimateCancerCell being inside something isn't being trapped air is trapped in a baloon we can leave our planet
@@johnmarston1419 So does water freezing. Ice is literally water in its solid state. Havik stated that "water must flow freely," when ice itself is water.
And I wasn't merely talking about ice. I was pertaining more to Havik's counterintuitive stance on chaos. His ideal that everything should be free is a paradox as there is nothing that isn't bound.
Yes, air outside the balloon is technically flowing freely in the atmosphere but how it moves is bound by physical laws. It isn't literally trapped, but is still 'bound' by something.
And Havik dislikes bondage that's why he assumes that Smoke being part of a clan is bondage and that he should free himself from it, same goes with his interaction with Liu Kang where even if Liu Kang states that mortals choose to serve him, Havik argues that their servitude is still considered as 'slavery.'
Being 'bound' isn't absolute freedom, and Havik wants to attain that freedom. But absolute freedom is impossible because it meant being free of literally anything and everything (unbound by time, physical laws, space, logic, reason, etc). That's why Liu Kang argues that Havik's ideals of chaos is a world born from self-delusion.
Unless Havik obtains omnipotence for some random reason.
Reptile: I’ve never met anyone as angry as you.
Havik: then you’ve never met someone who’s truly suffered!
Reptile, who was outcasted by his own people for being different, lost his wife and son and was Shang Tsung’s slave: 😑
Meanwhile Kenshi: Tortured, eyes gauged out
@@thegrandpowerchannel314 that and the history of the Taira clan which had his Clan forced into serving the Yakuza and Kenshi watching people suffer and hating every second of it
Havik and his kind were made a slaves by the Orderrealmers because they view them and their abilities as monstrosities and aberrations that needed to be under their control. Havik didn’t asked for it, but orderrealm had it coming. I would be angry too
@@2bdaqueen268 Yep, that one too
Tbf, this Havik is Dairou who supposedly wrongly judged by the law of seido like in the previous timeline so I think he has his fair share of suffering

@@johnmarston1419 I mean, to be fair, she does have a fair number of pretty good deliveries.
It’s just that they’re overshadowed by the few that are absolutely atrocious.
and like in another one of their interactions Havik is like "Y'know maybe I can hand you some of my enemies" well not now that you've fucking had the whole city levelled
You'd think he'd give the seidans to the vaternaeans so that they would be made slaves or fodd but nope this guy only makes bad decisions for chaos!
Havik: Everyone should be free to do as they please!
Also Havik: do what I say or I'll hurt you!
christian god: Everyone should be holy, completely reject all sin!
Also christian god: believe in me. Serve me as your lord and master or I'll eternally damn you!
My point is that havik has a god complex.
@@8eyes havik actually Antichrist
Very contradictory if you ask me.
@@iancruz6617 you have a point for Antichrist has a god complex and so does Havik and both of them are evil
Hes just encouraging you not to do it or you will be tear apart if you dont support him though he lets them choose of their fate
I like the concept of Havik having occasionally good points and interesting ideas, but being so obsessed with the idea that any level of control is wrong and that only he can fix it that he fights against his own philosophy more often than anyone else. He constantly makes demands that people be free to choose and enforces them even more strictly with even more cruel and merciless tactics than any other current ruler in the realms.
I think the biggest thing that proves Havik isn’t what he says he is was how he treated Rain. Havik saw that Rain was conflicted after the revelations regarding the sorcerers and had few other options, so instead of offering help in choosing a new path forward on his own terms, he purposefully goaded him into obeying his orders and threatened him when he finally realized he wanted out. Havik despises authority because of the deceit and cruelty of the methods they use to restrict freedom, but employs the exact same strategy, making all his points moot. He’s just as contradictory as his ideology, and I like it. It feels fitting for the demoted patriarch of Chaosrealm (or whatever he was, I’m not actually sure what he was. Can he be king or something of a realm with no order? Not sure).
Best summary for havik so far
He’s known as a Cleric
Havik really is a man who has become what he decries. I suppose we'll get the backstory between Seido and Chaosrealm in the DLC story.

“Water must flow freely, Sub-Zero.” It’s like he’s genuinely annoyed that Sub-Zero freezes things 😂
Havik freaking out about Reptile knowing his real name has the same vibe as Eggman in the SA2 fandub being shocked at the robots knowing his middle name.
Sub Zero at 2:05 hit Havik with the "Shiver me timbers 😱😱😱!".

In the case of tarkatans, i always assumed they have internal lips that allow them to make the sound. What is havik?
I guess it's the same parrots do so.

Chaotic 😮
Welcome to the world of fanatics.
Yes.
I think it makes sense that his logic is to get rid of all systems for freedom, and he sees anyone who chooses to support "the system" as needing to be killed along with it. Like he's crazy but i dont think he's as much of a hypocrite as people are saying, he's just deluded.
Even his mirror part hates him lol
Havik is the guy that would fight you cause you are breathing the air thus oppressing it
Havik must be the reason they don't have third lines because they would just be him struggling to respond to people using his logic against him lmao
OK I’m sure about Havoks backstory but his dialogue makes him sound interesting.

A
I don't really care about MK lore, but Havik seems like a cool and intresting character, so I really want to know more about him!
hmm. Maybe I'll make a series some day going over character bios.
Havik used to be a trickster in prior timelines. His goal was to create chaos and disorder.
In the new timeline, he is more of a Freedom Fighter than a trickster. He despises government and hierarchy and wants to topple power structures. But he uses violent chaotic means to achieve his goals, and gets personally offended to anyone he deems a threat or a naysayer.
I guess if you consider that his stance comes from an inherently paradoxical, unstructured idea, it makes sense he’d be offended by people trying to stop any semblance of true chaos. He probably sees it as predestined fate for things to fall into utter anarchy.
He was a slave in order realm and was abused so badly that he decided that the only logical thing he could do was create the exact opposite of order realm by destroying literally all order
Loyal to Anarchism until the end.
How do Havik or the Tarkatans talk? They have no lips :(
Havik hates ice because

Smoke seems to be the most reasonable character in the game. He's just: "Havik, why are you like this?"
I like that some characters will use Havik's ideals against him showing that he's not pro freedom, he's pro him. He doesn't want everyone at the top as equals, he wants him on top because he believes HE'S the only one thats right.
Love how everyone can see right through his angry "freedom" BS
It’s not that he doesn’t have good points, or that all of the ideals that he is are incorrect and wrong. It’s that he 1) has no qualms about killing and/harming people in general and 2) he seeks anarchy, not technically anarchism, but pure chaos/freedom.
He is pro chaos not anarchy. He will be content as long as no authority exists whether the people want that or not.
