Bro., I'm in final design of my cnc plasma table right now. Your pain on cutting an inch off each sheet is real, but you helped me out just in time. I was going to do 48" wide. Fook that, now I'm going to 52" of travel on my head which will prob. have my footprint at 60" +. You saved me some real hassle bro. You ever roll through Nor. Cal. I'll do you right with a proper 'thanks'!
How do you find your customers? I have all the equipment to make big bucks but I am having a hard time finding customers. I have heard lots of people say they started by selling to friends and their friends, but my friends don't want anything unless it's free
So do you charge by square inch or how does that work? How thick of metal sheets can you cut? You said you were barely able to afford to put it together, roundabout how much do you think it would cost to build one like this?
Great work! Tip to get slag off. Muratic acid. Dip signs in the acid over night and it will have a sand blast type finish and the slag will all be dissolved. Helps a ton
Bro just a little pointer if you already know then thats cool too just trying to help a brother out. Get some clamps and use them as handles when moving sheets.
Te desejo toda a sorte do mundo mano, seus vídeos são muito bons! Espero que esse canal cresça muito!! Estarei aqui para prestigiar seus vídeos! I'v been watching your videos ALL night and they are awesome, i wish you all the luck in the world man, i hope your channel grows a Lot!! Keep doing such a good job!
I dig the idea of the water tank. Hadn't thought of that. I see a lot of plasma tables with gross looking water in them (seems they recommend changing it out once a year from what I've read?) and can only imagine what that smells like. lol
great work and nice little shop.grinding plasma cutting spray painting welding, all super toxic stuff as im sure you are aware of.i just hope you wear a respirator.
Great video thanks for posting. As I was watching I noticed you not only cut the inch off but you also cut it into 4ft sections. If you have the room to turn your plasma machine you could just feed the full 8ft sheet into the machine and have the excess rest on your sawhorses. Just an idea. Good job on the parts and the machine build!!
I like the cut of your jib man! I never subscribe because I find the notifications annoying but I made an exception for your channel. Always something interesting 🧐.
I wouldn't waist that one inch of materials, just cut it in thirds first that should leave you with a 32 inch piece then just put the sheet the other way, you may have to change your program to landscape or portrait if the software has that property or just redefine your edges. Why waist 96 Sq. inches of material.
Don't you just love how doing any single simple task on a Linux distro is an arm and a leg compared to the convenience of windows lol.. What's the reason you using that LinuxCNC as opposed to windows
Really nice cut quality! almost no dross. I believe i saw 160 inch/min? And do you use the thc? Do you use standard 45a nozzle, or precision cut? When i cut something like this, i get way more dross and some lead in/out damage. Any advice?
Awesome!! You say you built the table. Ive been debating purchasing one because as you say they ain't cheap. What was your approximate cost you think? You got another subscriber. Thanks and keep it up 👍
you could look into upgrading ur cutting bench into a laser system, you won't have to use gas for plasma and thus no need to refill, also a diy laser welding might do good if you could somehow make it
I don't make much doing it, as I don't really advertise for it. I basically make enough to get free sheet metal for other projects selling sign at $30 per sq foot.

That's how I've done it in the past, but having a big tub of muriatic acid sitting around my small garage proved to be a little bit of an issue hahaha
Bro just a little pointer if you already know then thats cool too just trying to help a brother out. Get some clamps and use them as handles when moving sheets.
Never, thought of that, that's smart! Thanks for the advice man!
Nice Cockford Ollie shirt! Uncle Bumblefrack would be proud
So you mounted the electric magnet under the table, That is one good idea!
Learning something every day.
Thank you for posting the video. Your table set up works perfect I wish I would know how to build one👍👍👍
Check out MakingStuff's CNC plasma build, his videos helped me out a lot when building mine!

Love your videos! have you thought about making a powdercoating setup ?
Gf body is banging. Rest of the video is some dude rambling… 2 stars
Why not cut them off from your tailgate? No lifting.... then trim the inch

I like the table fill idea, don't mind if I borrow that idea
DUDE... hold the camera still... good video.. but man... invest in a tripod or something
Crank town? Do you mean apache junction?
Idk what I would do if i had to grind all my signs like you did after cutting. I just take a wide mouth chisel over it then its good to go. Lol
How do you come up with prices?... Appreciate the tutorial =D
9:30 ya lung is not getting better after that😎
Can u do a Linuxcnc vid for dumb people? Plz
Good job man. I've been wanting to build a cnc plasma table for quite a while.

@@cranktowncity thank you for answer!
I been thinking on buying a beginner table and they not cheap. I really hope to be able to sell signs and stuff to pay it off. Cool video.
Don't you just love how doing any single simple task on a Linux distro is an arm and a leg compared to the convenience of windows lol..
What's the reason you using that LinuxCNC as opposed to windows
Show me the money!!
Why you stopped UA-cam?
You should really wear a respirator when removing rust and grinding.

nicely done. now to figure how i'd make that in an apartment :)) , cheers from east europe
Awesome!! You say you built the table. Ive been debating purchasing one because as you say they ain't cheap. What was your approximate cost you think? You got another subscriber. Thanks and keep it up 👍
Sooooo you might try putting a chunk of stall mat down on your bench top it will keep your price from moving around you don’t need a magnet
I'm enjoying the commentary. And the rest too lol. Dude you bang around everything lmao almost as if it's all made of steel
I like your beard man and that just matters. Thanks for the video and it's good to see you have 6.5k subscribed now.
you could look into upgrading ur cutting bench into a laser system, you won't have to use gas for plasma and thus no need to refill, also a diy laser welding might do good if you could somehow make it
Have you found any software that will leave holding tabs on different fonts automatically?
They are not 49" they 1218mm (1220) length 2438 (2440)
This is awesome, what's the reason of not having the table constantly filled with water?
You’ve come a long way from 2 subs, man! Good job. I subbed too.
You’re fucking awesome bro love your videos 😂😉
Does the metal vaporize into fumes? How thick can you cut?
2 subscribers to 7.61K, Congrats!
