This guy is a good driver, this is evident on such a tight track, he is fit as a fiddle and has a small lapse in concentration where he collects the hay bail, but he was so far ahead it didnt cost him any places. I have only seen video of mini Monaco in Quebec. Have my seat time and want no part of that! Found out in mid 30's was good at it. With Canadian winter got to play with local pros at a good indoor track. They the ones who told me to take it outside! Did the A+D. Actually quit indoor racing because was so aggressive! From 09 to 14 I ruled the podium! Did 3.5 seasons as a active racer and track marshall. As a kart owner I suck and a horrible mechanic! A top 10 was like a win! 60 pounds of lead did not help! Had a medical issue and 1 A+D race to keep the 15 year streak alive! 2 months short of 50 and it all fell apart. The best for 2020 is to do practice with my own kart. Engine seal broke and the budget for new or used engine is not gonna happen 😞 1st time on track was in 1977 so alot of wasted years. I sure did make up for it!!! I laughed at those who bitched about slow karts. Have it taken away from you and results don't matter! Have always had a horrible last day record. A 3rd 4th and 7th was as good as it got! If a DNF championship then I am the man! A medical license suspension meant I could not even go watch any karting 😞. Got it back in September and just barely had the money to do 1race in November. Was a cold day and did not care! Was just happy to race!
Plus had added bonus of racing at Mosport! People kept telling me to go. My answer was no it's to far. 9 seasons and 50 thousand km later!! The last day of 2013 got fired on my day off for being late!! Was the 1st time the boss was at track before me!! He got there about 10 seconds before me! The next year got the day off and got to do a night race for free! Was also payback time.!! During the drivers meeting asked if we could do a standing starts! The reaction was great and of course the answer was no! For my 3rd year as a kart owner. On the 1st day they short track people. So left my kart in truck and took my former spot at turn 1! I have no doubt you have your fair share of stories!
Yeh I noticed the afte effects of driving a cart, I am a muscle head yet it still slightly injured my biceps from turning the streering wheel. And I only did 5 laps lol

Got lots of seat time and want no part of that! As a track marshall I have also been hit by a kart. I knew it was coming and started walking backwards. Did not factor in that rain tires mean nothing on grass! That hurt for three days! Had a chat with driver the next week . Apologized to them for making them angry enough to hit me!! Their reaction was funny! It's racing shit happens! Not once has a driver given me any sort of verbal abuse! Did double duty thing! The Sunday morning A+D drivers are the guys I race now at the club level! No fun being in Briggs Masters at 140 pounds.need 60 pounds of lead to weigh 200 lbs! Last race of 2018 pulled all the weight off kart. Wow what a difference!!!!

it doesnt cost thousands, i bought a chassis with everything on it but the engine for 220 euros, the engine itsself ( racing one from jos verstappen ) is less than 1000 euros, gas is nothing cus the fuckers barely use any gas even tho its a 2 stroke engine, you can race at any circuit for about 30 bucks for like 2 or 3 hours. nice thing to do on the weekends. now if you were to go to official races like this guy sure you'd be spending a lot more, but karting is karting. you don't have to spend thousands if all you wanna do is drive fast in the weekends in a fun kart.

Then, after 10 minutes, during the race, I improved my quali time of three seconds and made the fastest lap of the race... so, yes, you become one with your kart and you are almost never scared ;)

This is the purest form of motor racing there is...only F1 compares. Did five years of karting myself, it was the best fun I've ever had on four wheels. Respect to these guy's...big up !
All you guys saying it's sped up: 1.probably only driven a kart once at your local indoor track 2. Have no karting knowledge 3. Don't know what 2/4 stroke is. Why don't you drive one of these karts and try to tell me it's sped up?
I really want to drive one of these, or a superkart, but dang if they aren't expensive. Though I can say this, I know it's not sped up by looking at his hand when he shifts gears and turns the wheel.
That would be a superkart, and those tend to run on full size road courses and grand prix tracks. They have different levels of Pro kart racing, and some of them do only go around 80mph, but most go faster, though 156-160 mph is Superkart level, and that would be way to fast for this track, so the ones in this vid are probably one of the other pro kart levels.
No, without taking away from the speed of these carts, there were a few moments I caught onto people in the crowd moving too fast for normal speed. Then I came into the comments section and obviously I'm not the only one to notice things were off. This video was sped up at certain parts in the clip
I've been racing karting for leisure and been watching F1 races for decades, man never seen something like this. This is a magnificent display..! God bless you my man! Please be safe when pushing the limit of the limit of the......
for those saying its sped up its not, as a karter, the physics of a kart may seem like they defy gravity but they dont, a well set up kart such as this one is capable of such fast turns and the experienced driver has quick reflexs. these two factors may make the footage seem sped up but if u look at the shift lights and listen to the sound of the engine i can personally say it is not
agreed, but you cant deny there is something wrong with this video. an encoding error etc. converted from one bad framerate to another. wish it was recorded in 60fps and left that way. but i agree, these karts are truly fast enough to seemingly defy physics.
That was fun to see. Lots of great action, nicely controlled drifts and super fast action. I would love to see this televised with lots more carts in the race. Possibly pit stops and aero kits. That would be great! 😁
Impressive heck, how much do I owe you for the insane ride along? Much respect, but do you realize I'm sitting on your left frame rail, & them bails are CLOSE! I had a blast for sure! Very nice cart you have. Love the paddle shifting. Drive fast or B last. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Guys let me tell you I used to race one of those and to make a mistake when you are leading the race and noone is chasing you is like the worst feeling you can get out there...
@Reactionary Hermit I know it's a late response, but it's an easy explanation, I had the same issue. You keep getting nervous of who is behind you, start driving defensive for no reason and make mistakes. I solved my problem by putting myself in the mindset that I was in last place and had to catch up to everyone else. That's just my take on it, hope I could help. :)
@@callanphillips336 NEVER change how you drive when you are in the lead, just keep the same rhythm and pace. If you try to slow down, you throw your timing off and will crash :)
MechRider89 nope these guys have no skill at driving cars and the only cars this possibly equates to is an F1 car however these drivers are good but there is track races such as Le Mans, the nurbergering,. Only a few of the real races that really do go on. You only see touring cars, drift cars, F1 and rally on the TV. But there is F5000 along with many other pure forms of true racing. Rally looks very skillful yes. But with a bit of practice you can learn to pull off 90% of the things they can do. Hill climbs are, well hill climbs.... Next time think before spouting shit. I'm a 15 year old I can drift well in a car but taking hours over perfecting your line on a real track, thats the real skill.
Alberto Llinares I never said that I know all. I just know quite a bit of the little amount of things I know about. I have been bought up with all kinds of Motorsport all my life. It is the only thing I know.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I could not stop laughing uncontrollably. It literally looks like the footage is sped up at least 3×'s above normal. I've never in all my 46 years of watching all manner of motorsports ,......seen such pure skill, focus, and pure talent behind the wheel of anything. Andrea sir,......you are truly an incredible driver. I'm sure you'll find a ride in F1 without question. Just absolutely amazing!!!!

This guy can drive!!! He should be in a F-1 car!!! I used to race these and got to be quite good, won many races. Other drivers asked me how I got so good. I told them , practice. My dad used to race karts and won many races too. It must be in the genes! The new karts have shifter paddles on the steering wheels just like F-1 cars. It is very demanding to race these and will wear you out physically and mentally. You have to really concentrate a lot to be good.
@Charlie Robertson thats cool, those x30's are nice engines to race with little powerband and predictable power. I have a crockart 2017 old race team kart with an x30, i bought it off a friend who needed cash so that i can still go karting with him and my main kart is a 2017 tonykart with a prd 125cc fireball. ua-cam.com/video/qz8IOCpD2JY/v-deo.html

I started racing karts in 1960, pretty basic racing karts with alcohol burning McCullogh motors. Top speed at our local track was around 60 for the single engine classes. Wish I could be 12yo again to experience a good shifter kart!
That kart and driver are DIALED. The engine is super lean and crisp, the gearing is perfect for the power band of the engine, the chassis is dialed for that track as the kart is reacting as if an extension of the driver, very little slippage of the tires and instant direction changes. Watching this, you can see how the best F1 drivers come from karting. Kudos on your win. 👍😎🔥💖
EK9GraphicDesign You don't know what you're talking about, 30 frame per sec is average use, you use 60 frame per sec for slow motion. you're clearly don't know anything about video so don't try to look like an expert, its just pathetic. Plus the video is fast fowarded, anybody who has touch an editing software can see that.
this is not sped up. things that make it look sped up, the wide angle of the camera lens, being low the the ground and the hay bails being close. everything looks faster because everything is rushing in an out of the frame. it's not sped up.
+sultanabran1 Explain the sound changing frequency from when he rides full throttle on parade lap and in ''race'' mode. Should sound the same but becouse it is sped up to make it seem faster it doesnt :P
+daniel larsson And not to talk about obvious things, explain the suspension moving so fast up and down, the hand movements, even if you are doing fast stuff, whose hands behave like that? please. Whoever thinks it isnt sped up needs a new brain.

I really want to drive one of these, or a superkart, but dang if they aren't expensive. Though I can say this, I know it's not sped up by looking at his hand when he shifts gears and turns the wheel.
@ThePunisher
80mph? These things go up to 156 mph…
Is there anything on Earth that can go round this 'track' faster(?)..not likely.
+amy gal I hope they dont intervent anything faster tho..... Or it will be disaster all the time xDD
+amy gal Yes. Me
RC F1 car followed and controlled by helicopter.
FPV race drone maybe! But I know what you mean..
Usain Bolt on speed could top that
Never seen this kind of racing in my 43 years, I’m hooked they are absolute nutters 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you
I've been racing karting for leisure and been watching F1 races for decades, man never seen something like this. This is a magnificent display..! God bless you my man! Please be safe when pushing the limit of the limit of the......
Thank you
Insanity but freaking awesome to watch. Mad Skills and precision behind the wheel!
Great driving and addictive watching. Safety for drivers and spectators seems almost non existent.
Parting is relatively safe. I broke a few bones. That's all.
Thank you
for those saying its sped up its not, as a karter, the physics of a kart may seem like they defy gravity but they dont, a well set up kart such as this one is capable of such fast turns and the experienced driver has quick reflexs. these two factors may make the footage seem sped up but if u look at the shift lights and listen to the sound of the engine i can personally say it is not
EXACTLY
agreed, but you cant deny there is something wrong with this video. an encoding error etc. converted from one bad framerate to another. wish it was recorded in 60fps and left that way. but i agree, these karts are truly fast enough to seemingly defy physics.
@@wotever99ninynine There is literally nothing wrong with the video mate? its raw footage
That was fun to see. Lots of great action, nicely controlled drifts and super fast action. I would love to see this televised with lots more carts in the race. Possibly pit stops and aero kits. That would be great! 😁
This track is madness. Sheer madness. Master class presented here, 360 through the hay bails and all.
Thank you
Impressive heck, how much do I owe you for the insane ride along? Much respect, but do you realize I'm sitting on your left frame rail, & them bails are CLOSE! I had a blast for sure! Very nice cart you have. Love the paddle shifting. Drive fast or B last. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much
Guys let me tell you I used to race one of those and to make a mistake when you are leading the race and noone is chasing you is like the worst feeling you can get out there...
I’m exactly the same! Whenever I’m leading I always make the stupidest mistakes because I’m way to focused on not crashing and staying in front
@@callanphillips336 NEVER change how you drive when you are in the lead, just keep the same rhythm and pace. If you try to slow down, you throw your timing off and will crash :)
This is one of the only true forms of (4 wheel) racing that still exists
march11stoneytony yup this, rally racing and hill climbs. Best racing in the world with the best drivers.
Off-road racing will probably be our last bastion of hope
MechRider89 nope these guys have no skill at driving cars and the only cars this possibly equates to is an F1 car however these drivers are good but there is track races such as Le Mans, the nurbergering,. Only a few of the real races that really do go on. You only see touring cars, drift cars, F1 and rally on the TV. But there is F5000 along with many other pure forms of true racing. Rally looks very skillful yes. But with a bit of practice you can learn to pull off 90% of the things they can do. Hill climbs are, well hill climbs.... Next time think before spouting shit. I'm a 15 year old I can drift well in a car but taking hours over perfecting your line on a real track, thats the real skill.
zed wakefield You said it all, you have 15 years old, clearly you have to madurate way more, at that age you think you can do everything.
Alberto Llinares I never said that I know all. I just know quite a bit of the little amount of things I know about. I have been bought up with all kinds of Motorsport all my life. It is the only thing I know.
Ma chi sei....... il Demonio????? Vi prego dategli una FORMULA 1
Che manico.... impressionate!!!!!!
Still fascinating in 2021! ♥ GREAT DRIVING buddy, stay safe!
Kind regards from Austria
Thank you
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I could not stop laughing uncontrollably.
Thank you
This guy is a fucking phenomenal driver. Kudos to him 👏 kart sounds great also
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
Bravissimo Andrea,
determinato senza paura e senza esitazione!
Vero
Your skills are unbelievable! Congratulações from a Kart pilot in Brazil
Thank you
Way faster than my old Invader frame with Mac 92. Mad driving skills. Hats off to the driver.
Senna always felt karting was the purest form of racing
thank you so much
Once he gets into a rythm, he's flyin'...
Thank you
This guy can drive!!!
Thank you
I have been watching this for over 4 yrs. The skillset & speed is incredible
Thank you
WTF you are a very good racer man ! :)
thank you
That level of driving skill is something that I would see out of Formula One drivers from the late 80s to the 2010s
Playback speed Is better at .75
He's basically driving one handed due to the crazy shifting..
If you don’t find this scary you should concentrate on the driver’s right hand :)
It’s a manual right

Insane driving skills fam. Love the video 👌
Amazing job handling those surface transitions, jump drifting a shifter kart what an amazing race!
Thank you
My heart is racing watching this, amazing skills! Watching this is way better than F1!
Are you crazy? this is slow af
velocizzato na sega...questo va da pazzi!!!!!
manueljumpen87 ahahahahhahaha!Concordo
And I thought CRA Sprinters were quick, now I see why many drivers came up from carts.
Good lord... Smacks the wall and STILL kills it.. Bravo.
Man no words for this madness! You just went like a mad man!
*Girls locker room* "omg I got so sweaty eww"
*Boys locker room* :

Thank you
Man that's some narrow ass track - great driving 👍😀
What a ride-a-long! That was really fun. Thank you. Any chance a version can be recorded for us to watch in VR? In 3D, this would be AWESOME!
Thank you
Damn! Spilled my beer and fell out of my chair when he crashed. LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I uses to race karts in teens I'm 49 I miss my teen years
Im 47 now, own 2 race tag 125cc 2stroke karts.

+LaForgia Grazie
WOW!!! Talk about a tight track. You REALLY got to be on your game to pass on this track.
This is insane. Wow love watching this video every few years. Its like watching an F16 pilot at ground level.
Thank you
watch the buildings go buy they are normal speed but people that dont drive a kart this fast tunnel vis and they assume that its sped up. the cammera pov. and setting can change this efect too
The people dont realize that the cart is on the ground so it makes it look sped up. Nope, they are just hauling azz!
These guys have balls of steel.
I'd say magnesium alloy...
He’s racing in the Monaco of Go-Karting😱
Thank you
I started racing karts in 1960, pretty basic racing karts with alcohol burning McCullogh motors. Top speed at our local track was around 60 for the single engine classes. Wish I could be 12yo again to experience a good shifter kart!
Thank you
That kart and driver are DIALED.
vetb882 F1 is no joke, I couldn't imagine...
@@suaveystyles9292 amen. Imagine a giant version of a car that reacts just as violent but it's also 700 how 😲😲😲
vetb882 amazing!!!
Its not fast forwarded, it looks kinda funny because the video is in 30 frames per second, not 60 frames per second.
+EK9GraphicDesign Also these GoPros have a very big field of view....everything seems to move faster.
Melacome Encasa you're dumb
Melacome Encasa no, believe it or not, it is not sped up or accelerated
Hand motions look off, steering wheel motion looks off, objects appear to be off.....ITS SPED UP!!!
Yessss this is fucking awesome!
I was actually excited the whole vid glued to the screen haha niiice! 👍😃
this is not sped up. things that make it look sped up, the wide angle of the camera lens, being low the the ground and the hay bails being close. everything looks faster because everything is rushing in an out of the frame. it's not sped up.
Duarte Santos Dont really know why you tagged me dude, i do think it is sped up xD
+Duarte Santos karts have suspension?????
