how can I sit up my siriusxm
and how to open this USB setting or function
Pioneer should make a tutorial on how to get dvd like quality videos to play on these headsets. Just cause you advertise they can, showing us how would be great. Do I drag a video onto a usb and expect it to play like a mp3?
Yes, drag a video onto a USB just like an mp3. But you'll need to format the video to play.
Format your USB Thumb Drive as FAT16 or FAT32.
Do Not Use exFAT. It does not work. Do not use NTFS it does not work.
I recommend a drive of 16GB or smaller for best performance with this product.

Deckerd Otto Do you recommend any specific converter? Ive tried Divx but doesn't work.
There are loads of video converters available for free or for purchase. Experiment a little with the .mp4 or .avi video files using the resolution and frame rate previously shown.
Deckerd Otto thanks, found the answer I was looking for
The older Pioneer double din head units played almost if not, every video or music file. I know this, because I once had an older model Pioneer unit that did everything, plus GPS navigation with very few glitches here and there. From 2015 on up, the overall quality of these pioneer double din head units diminished.
Does the x4800 display scroll the title/name of the song/file that have long names?
It will scroll, and you can switch the scrolling on or off if you want.
Is there a certain format the things on thumb drive need to be in order for them to play on radio because i put a lot of videos and music on my thumb drive and they wouldnt play
What model of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? If you are using AVH-X4800BS as shown in the video above the first step is this: Touch the gears, then the tool box and go to “input output settings”, and then “smart phone setup”. Under the application type be sure to choose USB or USB/MTP. This will make the in-dash receiver read a USB drive rather than a phone. Formatting the USB Drive is very important. Format your USB Thumb Drive as FAT16 or FAT32.
Do Not Use exFAT. It does not work.

can u help me...pioneer AVH-x5750BT can play video from USB
How about you guys get together and find out what kind of drives we can use. I'm not going to complain because I still don't know if it is my drive or my head unit. I have a thumb drive that came with a guitar player's set up, and it works perfect on my unit, but a PNY USB 3.0 64GB wont work! I was working with my local Pioneer and we had the same thing, some drives work, some don't. So let's get together and see WHAT WILL WORK!
Be sure to format the drive as FAT32. Don't use exFAT it does not work. Don't use NTFS it does not work.
Check your in dash receiver for these settings:
Touch the gears, then the tool box and go to “input output settings”, and then “smart phone setup”.
Under the application type be sure to choose USB or USB/MTP.
Bro where it is USB option please can you just suggestion me
They all have it it’s plug in play
Can I just put mi usb in the back of the radio r do I need the adapter that runs from the back of the radio because I put the USB straight in the back of the radio and it's not highlighting on my home screen to let me in question
You do not need to use the USB extension. You can plug a properly formatted USB Flash Drive directly into the USB port on the back of the in-dash receiver. The USB extension is included to make changing out to a different USB drive easier. Be sure to properly format the USB drive to FAT 32. Do not us EX-FAT it does not work. Please give the in-dash receiver a few moments to read the drive before attempting to switch to the USB source.
If it's still not working
Touch the gears, then the tool box and go to “input output settings”, and then “smart phone setup”.
Under the application type choose USB or USB/MTP. You can find more videos about Pioneer AVH-X4800BS here: ua-cam.com/video/OD9XdSnzyI8/v-deo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
Will non powered external usb hard drives work instead of usb flash sticks? Pls confirm
Possibly. It depends upon the USB SSD you are using. The MAX current supply from the Pioneer AVH-X4800BS USB connection is 1 amp. If the SSD you want to use requires more than 1 amp to operate, you'll need to find another way to power it. In addition, please note when using Pioneer AVH-X4800BS, the USB drive must be formatted as FAT16 or FAT32. The maximum number of folders is 1,500. The maximum number of files is 15,000. How to fix usb on pioneer 2330nex that stopped working
I have this radio and all of a sudden the eject button and the "mode" button quit working. They don't do anything, and do no beep when pressed. All other buttons function as normal
Try to press the System Reset button on the far right hand side of the hard key pad. You'll need a paper clip or something similar to do this.

Hey guys. I have avh-x4700bs. My Bluetooth options stopped working after I changed my brakes. How can I fix this?
You need to engage the parking brake. You can find more information about the green parking brake wire in this video: ua-cam.com/video/-bF3uzzaT30/v-deo.html
Deckerd Otto I have. I've unhooked the battery, checked wires, etc. I wasn't the one that hooked the unit up though.
My DVD plays but I can only listen to it. The images do not appear but when I go to setting on that screen, while DVD Is still playing, I can see the imágenes (the DVD is playing the vídeo). Once I leave the setting area, again the imágenes or visual of the DVD are gone. Can someone help me out... Thank you
You need to engage the Parking Brake on-off-on in order to see video. This may also be called the Hand Brake. If you engage the Parking Brake and you still cannot see the video you may have an incorrect connection for the Green Parking Brake Wire on the in-dash receiver wire harness. I doubt a 500GB USB hard drive will work, what's the max USB GB? I -ave about 100gb of music I want, but since my classic 120GB ipod broke so I'm looking for a new option.
Many modern Pioneer in-dash receivers will work with any size of USB flash drive. Please be sure to format the drive as NTFS and you'll have no troubles. When you, first time only, insert a USB flash drive, the receiver will take a few minutes to create a searchable database and it will create that file on the USB drive. From that point forward you can search by Album, Artist, Song or genre. If that information is encoded in your song information. You can see this demonstrated on a Pioneer NEX in-dash receiver here: ua-cam.com/video/KWaYfYk90IU/v-deo.html Please note: If you watch the full video in the provided link, you'll see a limitation of 15,000 files on the drive. This is a video from several years ago and the number of files that can be accessed is unlimited on more modern Pioneer receivers, but the operation is very similar to what is shown in the video. Please consider a Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX seen here: ua-cam.com/video/QrvNkGgRo7E/v-deo.html or a Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX seen here: ua-cam.com/video/B2TTfJUD-es/v-deo.html

Why did you put 'ATTENTION! Viewing of front seat video source while driving is strictly prohibited.' warning on your head units?
It is a safety feature for all video headunits. You cannot view video or have access to features that will take your attention off the road.

what format do I have to use too download videos too play on my deck?
Format your USB as FAT16 or FAT32. Do not use FATex it does not work. I recommend a drive size of 32GB or smaller.
Video formats .mp4, .avi, or .mov. All must use compatible MPEG-4 video codec. 640x360 max resolution. 30fps max frame rate.
Deckerd Otto. What about a 64 gb usb flash drive?
64 GB formatted as FAT32 will work. Don't use FATex It does not work. Don't use NTFS it does not work. The more files you put on the dive, the slower the system responds. I recommend 32GB or smaller.
@@deckerdotto6035 where do I go to download FAT16 or FAT32?
FAT16 or FAT32 are not things you need to download. FAT 16/32 is the file system that is used to store files on a USB flash drive. Other types of file systems you may hear about are ex-FAT and NTFS. Put a USB flash drive in a computer. Right click on the drive and select "Format" Please note: when you format the drive, all information on that drive will be erased. Choose the FAT32 option as the type of format. After the formatting is complete, you can put music files on the drive.
