This song came out around April fools day. They put out some trailers with another song on the front. They did some short sections of that song on front of video and then it would dive into this song. Original artist name was Rick so for April fools day they rickroled us. They were all short. This song came out days later. Fun guys! Loved your reaction!!!!!
Love it. I think you probably need to watch Hillbilly Bone for some quality Home Free movement. Or Blue Ain't Your Colour for some classic choreography 😊
Oh Lawdy Miss Jen !!! You are starting to understand our Home Free "Fri-dom", and our loyalty to these guys....they are dudes with a sense of humor, and never take themselves to seriously. They enjoy being ENTERTAINERS and not just singers....the humor is all part of their ambience !!! I am so happy you're enjoying it and trust me on this, so much fun in concert. They can sing serious, you saw that yesterday, but they also can be fun and very endearing in their humor, as you saw here. They successfully transported us to 1987 when this classic came out. Even filmed with a 480 quality filter to make it feel 1987 even more. So glad they picked this one for you, you seemed to embrace it all so much, and as always great analysis...sister-girl welcome to being a verified & certified Home Fry. Now if they go back to the UK next year, ya gotta promise to go see them live....you'll never regret it....drag your man along with ya, he'll love it too !! Sending good vibes from Miami, FL !!! Have a great rest of your Wednesday !! ❤️😉👍
This is a really good choice. One of my older favorites from them is "In the Blood" and another exceptional cover from them is "Bless the Broken Road". We are all having a fun week. Thanks.
Love your reactions and Home Free is the kind of band that trusts their fans to be the butt of an April Fools joke by being rickroled and the fans loved and really appreciated the effort to get the details right.
An absolute strike of genius video making in during the Lockdown is Meet in the Middle! Absolutely unbelievable how creative people could get. And yes, the boys can be sensitive and serious but they are complete goofballs too. That is why people love them so much.
You've done well, young Jennifer. Home Free is amazing, they never cease to amaze me. And I wish Home Free's next reaction was "Can't Stop the Feeling." Is very good. You will not regret. Thank you for your time.
Jen, it amazes me how you’re able to reproduce a note without having to vocally hunt for it! Just BANG! you’re there! That speaks to LOTS of experience with your voice. Love it!
I like them when they are just having fun while singing. I do wish someone had voted in a couple of their more serious songs, Go Rest High on That Mountain, How Great Thou Art, or In The Blood.
Oh Jen, you should watch the video with Rick Astley to fully appreciate the humor and to realize that you have just been "Rick rolled"! Fun video again!
Besides being so wonderfully sung by Rob, with the great harmonies, deep bass and the inhuman good vocal percussion, it's also really hilarious!! And Austin's cat😂This just makes you so happy!! So give me Home Free and everything will be fine. No matter what genre, serious or funny, slow or fast, Home Free does it. One by one such good voices with their own specialties and the best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. They look for which voice best fits the song. I think that in all songs, every voice has a certain important function that makes it sound so unbelievably good. And what makes them even more powerful and perfect is that they have no egos, there is no rivalry, the good personalities, the brotherhood and the fun they have (front and behind the scenes)
These boys are multi talented and I'm really glad to see you experience their fun and goofy side they are just having fun with a few of their videos. And I really hope the next reaction is there newest release of to the moon and back.
Welcome to the 80’s! You’re having so much fun with this! I see another Home Free Week in the future. There’s just still so much joy to be shared. 😁 Another great reaction, both entertaining and informative. 👏 Looking forward to day 4.
Not only is this a time capsule for when the original song was released in the late 1980s, but it's also a perfect expression of Quarantine, with everyone separated and going out of their minds, getting a little goofy. It surely helped lighten the mood at the time!
Your reactions never fail to put a smile on my face! I absolutely love watching your reactions to these guys. They are just amazing..in so many ways...and your face says it all!! Keep 'em coming!!
Another fun one from the guys. Tim's and Austin's moves, come on. If those don't get you laughing I'm not sure much of anything will. Great stuff Jen! Can't wait for tomorrows finale!
I've had that CD on the player for the last 5 days. Every time I go to change it, I think, " Nah...one more time". Glad you're enjoying the videos this week; you do seem to be enjoying their "other side". Who woulda thought this song would get a detailed analysis! They have so many diverse styles that make up what's known as Home Free, they're like a human Rubic's Cube.
Jennifer! Another great reaction! I'm just always amazed when you stop the music and point out some little nuance that I COMPLETELY MISSED! You have an awesome ear for details! Loved watching you geek out to the music too. What an amazing week this has been so far! And it isn't over yet! As Fleetwood Mac sang ... "Don't ... stop... thinking about tomorrow". 😅
Fantastic! Seeing your genuine excitement and happiness at the Home Free gentlemen doing what they do is heartwarming. Makes my day to see these kinds of reactions and analysis. Please keep up your amazing work, Jen! Also, let me again recommend Hillbilly Bone for their fun side and, definitely, Blue Ain't Your Color for some classic choreography and chemistry. Thank you!
For a little bit more of Tim doing The Worm, plus a lot of other silly stuff, try All About that Bass, if you have not yet. Also the blooper video that goes with it. BTW, I don't think you noticed that when Austin does his spin, you could see that the shirt had to be gathered in the back and held together with hair clips, because they could not find a blue denim shirt skinny enough for him.
I would love to see your reactions to Brothers in Arms and Country Roads Take Me Home. Vocally, these two are my favorites.... oh.. and How Great Thou Art.
Just think, they used to make fun of themselves all during the SO (Sing Off) about not being able to dance. But I'm with you... I need more Tim dancing!! 😉 Who knew he had that much energy. He really embodied the entire 80s; headband and guyliner galore. 😄 And Austin, I think, had the most fun and had me giggling the entire time. They never skimp on "details"; in vocal arrangement or videos. I can't get enough of Tim's funky bassline in this. It's so cool how he did that. Overall, I just love watching them have the time of their lives, and you can always count on Tim and Austin taking things over the top. I just love these guys! I loved the way they arranged this with Rob's lead, and the video is fabulous, perfectly matched per usual.
Loving your Home Free week, Jenn! I like watching your expressions during everything they do. How about the 80's details that they put in, like the hair style to the dress, to the dance moves, to the VHS camcorder recording? Thanks for the reaction, Darlin!
I enjoyed your reaction very much. Clearly they took you by surprise a few times, and your level of enjoyment was way up there! I know this song, but hadn't heard Home Free do it before, they did it justice for sure.
I am loving the Home Free week! I haven't listened to them in a while so this is fun. A cool reaction would be to the Pentatonix Tik Tok Singing Compilation. It's neat to hear them sing without mixing or production, just impromptu and in stairwells. And it shows a bit of their more humorous side:)
It was pure joy watching this video ! There is just soo much fun and life that it is hard to digest it all. I could not stop smiling while watching this !
Hi Jen! It's been a busy week, what with the holiday on Monday ... so I missed the Mon/Tue videos (but will go find them next)! Thanks for the Rickroll!!! That's a video I missed in the past, and am so glad it was recommended to you. The dance moves cracked me up. Never gonna give You and Home Free up. 👍
Hahaha the boys are nuts and that’s why I love them. This was too good and had me laughing. The hair, makeup and clothes were all from the 80’s. Who knew Tim could do the running man and the worm?!!! Yeah more dancing from Tim. I’m also glad you picked out his low register in this one. That was really good. They sound so good. Love your analysis Jen. 😍
Love this and all the songs on the Sounds of Lockdown album. Home Free really were the most inventive and productive group during this period of time. There are several songs that didn't make it on the album including the first one that they did titled Quarantine. Tim Foust wrote it as a parody of Billy Joel's Honesty. It set the stage for the next two dozen videos that they did in 2020 and 2021.
Love Austin in the Canadian Tuxedo! Don't miss that the shirt is too big and he's got it tied up in the back with what looks like a banana hair clip. Heh. And Adam Chance needs to up his costume game.
Oh my goodness, Jen!! 🤗💕 These are SOOOO MUCH FUN!! 😃 I always (always) love watching you react to things, but how you react to Home Free (and, well, yes, Angelina Jordan too) touches my heart in a way I can't describe. Gosh - I want your channel to get to 100k TOMORROW!! There - the way is paved for you ! On the march to 100k! 😲 I totally believe in you, by the way! 🥰😋 Thank you so much, my dear friend! This was fabulous! Can't wait to see what's up for tomorrow!! Big hugs!! xo 💕🤗✨
Another fun and entertaining reaction from you, Jen, you always make me smile. It's too bad I can't sing a lick or I would defiantly have you as a vocal coach. Keep making me smile, my smile is my song.
Haha, I see Rob was doing his gopher dance on this one. I do hope tomorrow you'll be covering 'All About That Bass'. If not, put it on your list - you will really appreciate that one. Or maybe watch and marvel at the choreographed dance moves on 'Blue Ain't Your Color'.
#FandomCrossover Only found Home Free earlier this year but have been a Rick Astley fan since 1987 and have seen him in concert 10 times. He is amazing live and has a wicked sense of humour. Now I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed for Home Free to come back to Europe 🤞🏻 Enjoyed your video as always and yes I have watched over and over just to see Tim’s dance moves too 😂
Love your reactions, you should listen to : Blue aint your coler ,You will Love it ,Rob is lead , Chance has a solo and Tim's basse alway's great and will see a lot of dancing
love that your patreons decided you should be "Rick rolled" on home free week😂. Loving your Home Free reactions. This and Butts Medley are ones that almost need one run through audio only to really pay attention to the vocals and a second one with video to enjoy the goofy ness that is home free; although you do an amazing job of analyzing both at the same time.
Great reaction as always from you. Enjoy your Home Free week, and you are starting to see more sides of Home Free. They do goofy and they do seriously. And everything in between. You never know what they are doing next. Just that they are going to sound amazing. If you watch Rick Astley's original video you'll recognize the outfits. Except for Tims, but I think someone said they are a video of that too. And the “quality” of the video is so it will look like an old VHS(?) video. I'm old enough to have listened to this song in my teens before it was the Rick-roll and I love their take on it. Looking forward to more of your reactions to Home Free, their solo projects, and I hope more from The hound + The fox.
Jen as always great job. im hoping fur Sea Shanty Medley, its not fair you wont tell us.what cool about Home Free is,what ever mood you want or need they have songs that give you that feeling.
you need to react to my two favourite aussie voices, katie noonan and john farnham. good clips would be john farnham doing help live with the melbourne symphony orchestra and katie noonan live holiday; both are incredible.
New Canadian sub. Really enjoying your reactions and breakdowns, Jen. Hoping "One Man Band" is on your list, if not tomorrow another day, also "I Can't Outrun You" directed and featuring Chance is a MUST, among the many other suggestions in the comments.
You must watch THIS IS HOW WE ROLL. Its older..but so worth it..Their cover of Florida Georgia line and the video based on the movie The Big Lebowski. You will love it!
You are delightful Jennifer!!! I just saw Home Free live this last weekend and they were AWESOME! I think you should join them😂 God bless
The quality was purposely "80's" style VHS....they did that with "I Swear" as well.
This one and Meet In The Middle are two of my favorites..
Austin's Rick Astley has a strong Johnny Bravo vibe.
And this is why Homefree is my favorite. They are talented funny and creative and down to Earth
They trolled us for a week before they gave this one to us too.
This song came out around April fools day. They put out some trailers with another song on the front. They did some short sections of that song on front of video and then it would dive into this song. Original artist name was Rick so for April fools day they rickroled us. They were all short. This song came out days later. Fun guys! Loved your reaction!!!!!
I SO love watching you. I've seen these and I anticipate your reactions and am already laughing.
Austin and Tim's dancing is so much fun . These guys are great , produce and arrangements are perfect .
There is a reason they do side projects like "My Maria" together. Tim and Austin are such awesome dorks.
I never thought I’d see the day when Jennifer got Rick-rolled 😅
The dancing was - like the song - from the 80s. If you want to see them bust out moves from the 70s, watch Love Train
It’s easier if you just accept that Austin is special. In EVERY way😎
Loving your Home Free week!
HAH!!!
Glad you didn't miss Tim doing the worm from looking at your keyboard or the camera. My favorite moment in the video by far
😂😂
Love it. I think you probably need to watch Hillbilly Bone for some quality Home Free movement. Or Blue Ain't Your Colour for some classic choreography 😊
Thanks! 😊
Highly recommend "Blue Ain't Your Color"
Yes! Either of these, both are sooo good!
Hillbilly Bone, Jennifer you absolutely have to see it!! 😁
@@JenniferGlatzhofer I approve this recommendation. Hillbilly Bone is probably my favorite.
Oh Lawdy Miss Jen !!! You are starting to understand our Home Free "Fri-dom", and our loyalty to these guys....they are dudes with a sense of humor, and never take themselves to seriously. 😁🥰❤️
If you haven't checked out their cover of Love Train, you definitely should.
Definitely! Great suggestion, plus they added fans in that video.
Gotta love the boys!! And Tim, well, Tim's the man. 😆💙🍟
Home Free week has been great so far. Can’t wait for tomorrow.
Thank you!!
Love how they had fun with it, yet, as always, great cover of the music!
Working for a Living, Grandma got ran over by a reindeer, Quarantine, these guys are hilarious!
Thank you ^_^

Yeah for the cat!
Fun Fact - Austin's a Georgia Bulldogs fan so the cat's name is Dawg!
Oh, that's so cool, you got the Autographed CD!
I think your 4th is the Sea Shanty Medley. Loved this reaction/analysis Jen! Your face was just priceless to see!
These gentlemen never cease to amaze! After recently seeing them in concert for the first time, definitely a life long fan now aka "Home Fry"
Tim doing The Worm is worth enduring this song
These boys are multi talented and I'm really glad to see you experience their fun and goofy side they are just having fun with a few of their videos. And I really hope the next reaction is there newest release of to the moon and back.
This song was fun….thank you for the reaction ☺️😊
Thank you!
These guys are just having fun - and I love it!
These guys cannot be beaten for the vocals the humour & the emotions they create, pure class 👌 👏 🥰
Welcome to the 80’s!
You’re having so much fun with this! I see another Home Free Week in the future. There’s just still so much joy to be shared. 😁 Another great reaction, both entertaining and informative. 👏 Looking forward to day 4.
Thank you!!! And yes, there definitely will be 😁
Home Free Rickrolled everyone.
It's such fun watching your reactions. We need more of this, too!
Ahah thank you!

Hahah Great song reference!! Thank you so much!
Of all the reactors I've watched do this song, you are the only one to point out Tim's amazing bass line work. Good job! Love your reactions!
Since you enjoyed their humor in their “butts medley” I’m sure you enjoyed this one too :) can’t wait to see her reaction some of these dance moves :D
🕺🏻
Good choice. I like the way they are so playful I this one. Love your reactions

Love your reactions. You're obviously very musically and vocally smart and capable. Keep doing you. I'll be here to watch and enjoy.
Enjoyed your reaction. To get a full effect of their harmonies (pre-Chance, BTW), Adam arranged "Do You Hear What I Hear".
Just think, they used to make fun of themselves all during the SO (Sing Off) about not being able to dance. But I'm with you... I need more Tim dancing!! 😉 Who knew he had that much energy. It was pure joy watching this video ! There is just soo much fun and life that it is hard to digest it all. I could not stop smiling while watching this !
Love your reactions! keep them coming! Butts melody was PRIME TIME!
Voiceplay is my favorite bit these guys are so great too!! Super funny and talented. Wish they would collaborate with VoicePlay again.
Ahah thank you!
Great reaction! 😊 I loved how they made their video look and feel like that era and the vocals are always on point.
Austin has a strong Johnny Bravo vibe goin on
Any song they do is amazing! Thank you for reacting to them ❤
Hahaha the boys are nuts and that’s why I love them. This was too good and had me laughing. The hair, makeup and clothes were all from the 80’s. Who knew Tim could do the running man and the worm?!!! If you want more Home Free humor, you should watch "All About That Bass" & ""Honey I'm Good"
That was a fun reaction! I really enjoyed it.
I love your reactions! Love your personality and humor !
Love Adam Chance's period correct pushed sleeves on his jacket! Getting into thecera!
Love this and all the songs on the Sounds of Lockdown album. Home Free really were the most inventive and productive group during this period of time. Austin and his musical theater background - it just adds more. LOL
Love Austin in the Canadian Tuxedo! Don't miss that the shirt is too big and he's got it tied up in the back with what looks like a banana hair clip. Heh. And Adam Chance needs to up his costume game.
love this song love home free

This was fabulous! Can't wait to see what's up for tomorrow!! Big hugs!! xo 💕🤗✨
Ah thank you so much 😁
Love this blast from the past! The one where everyone learned what it is to be Rick- rolled! Lol Great reaction! Thanks 🎵💕🎵💕🎵
HAPPPYYY BIRTHDAY JEEENN
Another fun and entertaining reaction from you, Jen, you always make me smile. It's too bad I can't sing a lick or I would defiantly have you as a vocal coach. Keep making me smile, my smile is my song.
Ahah thanks!
Hi Jennifer hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤

i think you would really enjoy home free's version of all about the bass. So funny
They added a filter to the video to make it look old, like the original video. Thx for all the HF videos!
love that your patreons decided you should be "Rick rolled" on home free week😂. Loving your Home Free reactions. You go Tim!
So many great ones left for you to react to, but my favorite so far is Brothers in Arms. A Dire Straits cover. Love you’re reviews!
you need to react to my two favourite aussie voices, katie noonan and john farnham. good clips would be john farnham doing help live with the melbourne symphony orchestra and katie noonan live holiday; both are incredible.

😂😂
I know this is months later, but if you like their dancing in this, check out Blue Ain't Your Color.
