I feel like Adam Rupp is the secret weapon in this group. He seems to come up with something new and outrageous all the time. Love how they kept it focused on the song and driving it forward. Can't stop enjoying this.
I can see them (esp. Austin!) getting on stage & forgetting his words! Lol It would be funny, though, because if he did, he’d just hum right along & pick up when he remembered! The guys would just have to keep from laughing themselves & have to try to keep on going. I love that they take themselves light enough & their fans love them enough that we really don’t care if/when that actually happens! It just makes them seem that more relatable and enjoyable, & they laugh with each other & us. Love our guys soooo much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

How cool was that to get a personal message from Rob! These guys are just the best. That was such a great cover of Garth Brooks' song. What a fun & fast energy song. You can't help but jam along with it. The guys all did a great job & Adam was fabulous with his harmonica sounds & vocal percussion. Another winner to add to the list!

I know, right?! I think that’s part of what everyone loves about them (in addition to their absolutely mind-blowing, on point, fantastically entertaining, joy-bringing, he__-raising musical talents & beautiful personalities!). They’re very humble, & without big record labels producing them, a lot of their fandom & the money they make for their careers comes from the good word of mouth from their fans, fans watching their videos & listening to their music & referring them to others around the world online! In addition, I think they really do appreciate us & enjoy having fun with their fans. Most other superstars & major groups don’t reach out to their fans or make fans feel that close to them (other than maybe Buffett, a little bit? Lol Although Buffett’s is very different-his is more like from the margaritas being mixed up in the parking lot beforehand & “fins up” in the parking lot! 😂 ). I loved getting to meet them live in person before & after one of their concerts. They didn’t act all “uppity” or like they were better than us. They acted just like the real pple. I’d love to just be friends with, hang out at the lake or beach with on the weekend, grill outside with, etc. I’m almost 54, & although I’ve been to numerous concerts by many different artists, none have ever been like #HomeFree or treated their fans like they do, & I love it! I think it’s part of why their fans are so supportive of them and willing to do so much for them. A lot of other artists could take a lesson from them!
Can’t wait. Got tickets to see them February in Arizona. ❤😂

We all know that Adam Rupp swallowed a whole high school percussion section (and a harmonica) when he was a kid, so there's that... The pace of the song was fantastically fast and you did a great job of breaking it down. It was fun watching you have fun 😁. @@lindanearing4710 yeah, i think people confuse "they can all beatbox" with "they can all do what adam does". really in its most basic form, almost anyone can "beatbox" its not that hard. then there are Vocal percussionists, like Tom Thumb, there are less of them. Then there are vocal noise makers, like Micheal Windslow (motormouth Jones from police academy), thes not as many of them. them there is Adam Rupp, who can do all of that and more, and in my years of listening to beatbox etc, ive seen mabye a handfull of people who can do most of what Adam can do, but none even come close.

@@lindanearing4710 I really don't get your constant comments about this ESPECIALLY on posts that are only complementing Adam's talent without mentioning anything about the others! First off - I really think Adam is absolutely fabulous at what he does and none of the others could do what Adam does at length! And nobody ever said that they are on the same skill level, but it is a fact that all of them can beatbox to a lesser extent and at least three can do the harmonica. In fact, the first time the harmonica was utilized in a song was done by Tim on White Christmas. The later video of it makes it look like it is Adam but the first recording on Full Of Cheer and also live performances from that time were different.
@@Ingrid_Haendel It's just very frustrating that the first comments to come up are when any one says anything about how good Adam is, for people to say how they all can do what he does. Yes, I understand that they can all BB, and that's actually cool. But those comments come up so often, that it's like they're saying what Adam does isn't exceptional. I've read so many of those comments that it started to get under my skin. I love all the guys and respect their talent so much. But sometimes it seems like people don't respect Adam as much as he deserves. And it takes just that one final comment to be the last straw. I was so excited about what an awesome job he did on this video and then someone said he didn't do all the beat boxing and I'm like, "really?" Final straw. I give up.
@@lindanearing4710 I can understand the frustration especially with that comment you mentioned (who the heck got that idea). He definitely did all the beatboxing on his own. I get the Learning Tracks where you get a much better idea what everyone does. I love them and my respect for all of them went up a notch (or 100)!
If you check out "Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks" you'll see Austin taking over the harmonica while Adam lays down the beat. I'm told that they sometimes do a harmonica duet in live shows.
I love this cover and it will join "Can't Stop the Feeling" as a morning wake up song.
Great reaction as usual. HF are planning some sort of event for reactors this yea, so don't be surprised if you hear from the guys again. They're also open to interview requests for well-established reactors, if you're interested. I think a lot of us would be interested to hear it.
I saw them in concert last Fall. Adam and Austin did a harmonica duet for "Man of Constant Sorrow" live onstage.
Yup saw them a couple weeks ago and they did it there as well.

@@patriciamcl54 If he has, he hasn’t posted it yet. He said they were just content the way they were for right now. He said they live together, work together, share a house, & have a joint bank account, so they figured what more would a piece of paper matter? I think they will at some point. Heck, they’re both getting older, & I don’t think he’d want to have kids before they were married. He might, but his parents/family are pretty religious, so I don’t know if he would do that intentionally or not.
@@JaimeDornanLady I meant my post satirically! I know a couple of months ago they were adamant about it, suspiciously so... I think you're right about kids. If they're worried about the expense, they may be encouraged by Adam and Sami's example of a small quiet wedding.
@@patriciamcl54 Did Chance & Sami get married? I knew they were engaged, but in October ‘21 Chance said they didn’t have a date set yet to get married. I can’t see Austin & Amberly worrying about the expense at this point with the way Austin’s career’s going!

One thing I really like about HF is their diction and enunciation. Half the time I can't understand what bands are singing, but I understand every word that HF sings. Super fun song!And ADAM RUPP!!! That, and the fact that they don’t feel the need to use foul language in all of their songs! I don’t want to hear that & don’t find it appropriate, & I wouldn’t want my child/nieces/nephews listening to it. I would be mortified to ever bring my mom or stepdad to a concert where they did that!

Home Free, for the last 7yrs --- has never ceased to absolutely amaze me! LIVE is just unreal (and yes they do such stuff)!!! If radio were to "play" these guys --- I'd be tuned in. I am ever so grateful that they have chosen to promote themselves; truly for them -- something to be very proud of. That vid message from Rob is pretty damn special; really shows "WHO" they are!
I have requested them a few times on the radio, but the radio didn’t play what I requested! Some pple. said it’s “because they’re acapella & it doesn’t go over the radio as well as when there are instruments”, but I call bull! Pentatonix is on the radio, & most of the time, pple. who don’t know don’t realize Home Free is acapella! I wish they would play them on the radio!!!
@@JaimeDornanLady What some say is absolute "bull" :) We know better! The "sound" in most cases is much better than the original ... with no video --- we know (by experience) most wouldn't have a clue. It's that they rejected the $100K from the "Show" ... essentially a "loan" (HF's own words!) and the music industry would have the rights to the music, controlling HF and what they put out!!! "The Industry" isn't making the money off HF and their music -- like back in the older days... and the artists suffered. HF has done very well with their promotion --- and I'm thankful. Be Safe :)
@@rodconner9079 I agree! I’m completely amazed at what Home Free has done to get where they are, & what they continue to do to stay there. It’s very informative to hear them talk about their story & tell why/how they did some of the things they did to get where they are now, as well as some of the pitfalls along the way. They may not be on that many TV/radio shows or get played on the radio, yet they still do SOLD OUT shows all over the WORLD at almost every concert they do & don’t seem to have any problems putting butts in the seats to hear them! They also don’t seem to have any problems doing the Backyard Bashes that Tim, Austin, Chris Chatham, Jeffrey East, Jenika Marion Foust, & Sebastian put on, selling their CD’s & music on iTunes, all the other online sites & in stores, selling their merchandise on their websites/at shows, & have fans still begging for more of them constantly! The Home Fries are a different breed of fans, & don’t hesitate to donate funds to help HF when they need it, something I’ve never heard of being done by any other artist’s fans in my lifetime. Home Free gives, & Home Fries give back to them. Using UA-cam, they’ve figured out a way to manage their careers & do what they want/like to do & what the fans want, without having to listen to the industry dictating what they can/can’t do & taking a lot of the money they bring in or being locked in to just one genre. We Home Fries love them, & they seem to understand that the more they give, the more the Home Fries are willing to give back! That said, I still would love to hear them on the radio, & strongly think they deserve to be played. Those that do interviews with them seem to get just how good they are, & why we love them so much. Maybe the Home Fries need to organize dates after new song releases to flood the radio stations all day with requests to hear them!

We do have an "oldies" local station ... but what started out as "Classic" Country from the 50's up to the 90's ......... now up into the 2010's and lesser of the older stuff. I've been stuck on HF for last 7yrs ... and enjoying every bit of it. Really glad they've taken control --- it's so so good; that "Sound" they get --- nowhere else can it be had!!!! Be Safe

Please check out the group "Walk Off The Earth" doing the song "Toxic". They are quirky, funny, original and artistic.
They aren't Acapella as they use anything they can find for percussion and to hold the tune together. They have many songs and often collab with other artists and dancers.
This is truly phenomenal! Incredible! Or really, there are just no words for it. Although I started thinking why they didn't let Chance do the lead because it really was a song for him. But then he came anyway. They all sang so wonderfully. And what is Adam so inhuman freaking good

Can't confirm, but I read that the song came out on Facebook because Brooks calls his solicitor whenever he sees someone cover one of his songs on UA-cam.
If it isn't the artist, it will be the record label. They practically wrote our copyright law here in the States. It's a travesty.

Garth was HUGE in the 90's!! I still know every word to this song while my kids and I listened and learned it every day when I was driving them to school when they were 5, 7 and 9 years old. They all still know every word (and the 9 year old will be 30 in August 😋. ) Garth is a Legend in US music!!
