I really enjoyed Rogue One, I'm gonna pick it up asap I am however super disappointed that their aren't any deleted scenes hopefully they'll release them eventually
Just got my copy and watched the special features. For the first time I've really internalized how weird it is to see a big committee discussing a Star Wars film instead of one key guy surrounded by minions.
Was pretty disappointed when Best Buy sold out pretty quickly of the steelbook and it still puzzles me why especially since they aren't restocking that copy either so I think I'll just end up getting the standard version. Thanks for the info Nathan, always love your videos and especially this series.
Nice collection you've got here. I remember me and my mother went to see "Rouge One" when I was in Florida and I loved it. And after I just came home from the movie, I heard the sad news that Carrie Fisher, the actress who played Princess Leia has died. I've seen her cameo towards the end of "Rouge One", and I was sad that Carrie Fisher has died. And then, the next day, Debbie Reynolds has just died too. What a total loss. BTW, I didn't get the Blu-Ray or DVD of this movie, but I have the digital copy of "Rouge One".
No, you really don't, since that film had absolutely nothing to do with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. Is there a reason I have to keep saying this almost every time you post a comment?
That's correct, so why do you constantly say that Rogue One or The Force Awakens are coming from 20th Century Fox in almost every post you make, if you already know that isn't true?
Hey Nathan, I love your videos. You are organized and get all the information across. Just please cut down on the fade effect on the video. Keep making great stuff.
Thanks for the awesome video! I got the Target one, but the art cards were bent thanks to the sleeve being open on both ends. Oh well, excited to watch the special features once I can :) also hoping to get the Episode 7 Collector's Edition for those special features >_>

I'm still hesitant about picking up the standard blu-ray of Rogue One. I personally think it would make sense for Disney/Lucasfilm to release 3D collector's editions of their movies every winter so that buyers/collectors can be prepared, but with this release, I'm really not sure if there won't be any surprise releases towards the end of this year (because I have a feeling that that Target exclusive bonus features will find its way in a broader re-release, as well as any deleted scenes and commentaries)
I have the Target Exclusive and it's awesome. Much better than the Force Awakens Exclusive. But what makes me angry is that last year with force awakens they actually gave the cases Swing Trays so that you wouldn't stack the the discs. That makes me really angry because I hate, HATE stacked discs. Especially in the vortex case. I don't like the Elite cases with stacked discs, But I will tolerate those.
If you happened to have any spare unused Rogue One digital codes (possibly like the one you left unopened from the main release), and if you happen to be giving them away, I would definitely relieve your burden of same! ;-)
@@ChronoRadio thank you I just found and watched your video for TLJ with the 3d disc wow you have an impressive collection I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS.
@@ChronoRadio the 3d version of TFA seems to have the same bonus material found with the amazon digital purchase what is new in the 3d that i might not already have ?
Joseph Mantineo If you already have all of the digital content, including access to the audio commentary for the movie, then the only thing the 3-D release adds is the 3-D film itself. The main draw for people who weren’t going to watch it in 3-D was just the commentary and the couple extra little featurettes that were previously only digital.
This is the link I used to order it. It's a little more than another version on Amazon but this one includes two items i believe are exclusive to Amazon Japan: www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B06X9HP4B1/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492559446&sr=8-2&keywords=rogue+one+movienex
any benefit to using all the digital codes? I bought all of the limited editions, and disney store blu ray, so far i have only used 1 of the codes on the disney store.
You can't use all of the codes for every version, since Disney Movies Anywhere and Disney Movie Rewards (which are integrated) treat (if I remember right) the Best Buy and Target copies as the same, and then the Walmart and regular copies as the same. You'll end up with extra codes if you get every version. Personally, I give the extras away to friends, but I always try to put them in first to make sure I can't use them. That way, it maximizes your DMR points. Every so often, there's a decent DMR item to pick up with those points. I picked up two sets of 2-sided TFA posters with DMR points, then later picked up the limited edition Rogue One hat. It's usually goofy stuff I don't want, but every now and then there's something worth using points on.

Hm...home video editions of "Rogue One". Can't wait to watch it.

Holy cow you got all that Star Wars merchandise and novels in your shelves. You must be a true fan. :-)

Got the combo pack. I kinda just want to get plain DVD for Ep.7 and Rogue 1 just for some reason

I'll wait and get the Target version on eBay if the collectors edition is not released.
I wish the UK editions would come with download codes! Don't understand why we don't seem to get them anymore.
The Target one looks really good.
I'd rather have a UHD Blu-ray version of The Last Jedi next year instead of a Blu-ray 3D version.
Aim higher: both! :)
Naminski Yes I've been waiting a long time for 4k Star Wars (fingers crossed)
So, what do you think... There is going to be a "Collector's Edition"?
Personally, I doubt it, unless it's 4K. They've already handled 3D with this release, so there wouldn't be a format excuse for a double-dip.
Nathan Butler I want them to release it so they can have a commentary.
Maybe the Tie Fighters are being shot at. Also, great video as always.
I think lg still makes a passive 3d 4k tv

Nate do you have an extra code for just the blu-ray / DVD / Digital version?
Hey Nathan if I bought the Blu-ray "big sleeve" edition from the UK and shipped it to the USA would the blu-ray play on a US player?
Yes it will. The majority of Blu-rays including this one are region free. Just the DVD won't work because it's region 2 instead of region 1.
Did a 3d version ever come.out for the last jedi?
Joseph Mantineo Not in the US, but other regions got a 3-D version, and those are typically able to play in any player.
