What's up guys how's it going!? for today's video I thought we could do a fun outfit challenge video where I have to pick an expensive outfit inspiration and try to recreate it for much much cheaper! If you guy's have been keeping up with my "I turned into a celebrity for a week" series, I've basically had to do this challenge for every single outfit in those videos and thought it deserved a video of its own! Nishka The Cat Yes I get that but when she does this as a living and makes a lot of outfit videos then it starts to bother a little bit :( I really enjoy her videos but every time I wish I could see the whole outfit. Maybe she should use a different location or differnet lens for her camera.
100% agree - I’m sick of not seeing the full outfit, it really doesn’t give you a good idea of what the pants and shoes look like on, and together etc.

I'd keep the cheap outfit with the warehouse jacket - £60 is pretty good for a quality faux leather jacket. Other than that - proof you don't need to spend a fortune to get the same look. Only difference might be the materials the shirt is made from but £130 is ridiculous for a white shirt!

sooo... high end brands have few options, like shelves of something. For example there's Versace and the cheaper option Versace Jeans, Armani Jeans is the cheapest of all Armani lines with Emporio Armani kinda in the middle and Giorgio Armani as the most expensive. Actually, a looot of designer brands are divided like that but not everyone is paying attention to that. Hope I explained it well. Buziaki!

Ralph Lauren has a lot of lines (I know about 8 in men's departament, but one of them got discontinued) and Polo Ralph Lauren is actually the cheapest one. What makes the lines different is also quality and places you can find them. Small fun fact :)

I don’t really find £60 to be that expensive for a jacket well it really depends on the quality but places like river island and topshop sell jackets like that for £60. Also btw love this video you should deffo do a part 2!

Hermine Doddema yup same. If they are of great quality and last many seasons, it's so worth it. With trends I think buying on a budget is far better, but staple pieces may as well be pricier. :)

Ooh, not throwing any shade but Kowtow are an ethical sustainable brand so you get what you pay for in terms of workers earning a living wage and cotton grown without harmful pesticides 👍
I'd say spend as much as you can afford to promote the values you believe in ❤ Somewhere along the line someone is paying for that cheap clothing.

Can definitely tell the difference between the shoes and bag. And the cheaper jacket on both options let down the look. Couldn’t tell the difference between the jeans and shirts at all.

My room is a horrible environment, I'm sneezing so much over this video. Another excuse to watch it again.
The thing that people dont realize is that even though clothes look alike doesnt mean that you shouldnt buy the expensive one. The materials are often totally different and the little bit pricier items are much higher quality. The ”pricey” items on this video are not even that expensive, they are kinda middle-range in terms of the price. 110$ for shoes is not that much, I dont usually even buy shoes much cheaper than that because I know that they will not last as long. Today people are used to ordering clothes from wish for a dollar and ofcourse these better quality items are ”too expensive” for them. Quality over quantity.

110 Pounds is $140. When you have one white shirt for $165 and the other for $15, it's not a little bit pricier, it's outrageously more expensive. We aren't talking clothes on wish for $1, both of these outfits were purchased from the same retailer (ASOS). Expensive clothing can also be made in sweatshops and have poor quality (Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, and Hugo Boss for example.) Or the jeans in this very video that she said were less comfortable, cost $300, and had a button break off immediately. Yes, clothes from super discount sites are definitely poor quality, and haute couture will always be high quality, but middle of the road paying loads more money does not always equal quality.

The video was quite interesting to watch as you compared your prices but £60 for a good jacket and £100 pounds for good boots is pretty normal these days and yeah it was interesting to see that you thought £60 was very expensive for a good quality leather jacket as I believe you own a Tesla and a Range Rover.

The MiH denim is special because it wasn't made by people working in horrible conditions getting paid nothing in Bangladesh. Don't drag companies for trying to be ethical and sustainable. Of course it amps up their prices, because people actually get paid a decent amount for making the clothes. £30 is what someone should be getting PAID for making a pair of jeans, not how much they should cost overall.
Emily Cheesman this was my first thought. The cheap items can only be gotten so cheap because the people who made them get paid almost nothing. Maybe a video actually trying to make a shirt or something, then you realise how much work goes into it xx
If you decide to make a series out of this, i think you should check the quality difference between the "expensive" and "cheap"... The plain white expensive shirt is from a heavy organic cotton and you can tell the difference with the almost translucent, thin cheap fabric, same case on the jacket and handbag... I don't agree with you and just go for the cheapest, quality is important and ethical sourcing too. Remember that when a piece of clothing is very cheap behind that usually there are workers who doesn't get paid the minimum wage... I like your video idea, but it can get better.

Fleur Wouters I only pay that much for a pair of really good running shoes or water proof and really warm winter boots. Wouldn't spend that much money on for example sneakers or regular boots etc.
