to be frank the workers behave just like salvagers. The ships you are seeing surrounded are different ships and have nothing to do with the salvage process. It's just that the same ship used for harvesting is also used as a salvage and repair corvette making ship management a little more difficult then HW 1.
To be honest this game kind of reminded me of John Carpenter's The thing if you threw it in blender with Star Trek's the Borg we're just a pinch of Battlestar Galactica thown in.
@@SoloReacTalk I'm not sure how to articulate it but I think homeworld cataclysm and the first homeworld was able to leverage this fear of the unknown that added to the tension in these games. Homeworld 2 has a different sort of tension instead. The existential dread isn't as oppressive. That being said homeworld 2 does have some awesome moments but they exist moreso in the real of cool explosion moments instead of horror/fear.
A little tame, but there is more effort at saying at least something of 'value' or personal experience rather than others that just go "heh, thats crazy". And yeah a little low on the 'reaction' but at least its not dogshit 👍

Holy shit. I really wished I watched this sooner because it’s fucking awesome! How could this not be canon?
We need to know more about the other Hiigaran clans not just the s'jets this game should have been one of many mini games.
i feel like cataclysm held the sort of oppressive fear you had from homeworld 1
@Gabriel Nguyen Not sure what you mean could you elaborate further?

This is not much of a reaction, more like stealing.
Ok

I'm seven minutes in and he stopped the video _once_ to comment on it. Rest of the time he was mostly staring blankly at the camera. I'm off.
