Ellen Vlog 33 | Washington, D.C., Endless June, Endless Summer

This June, I went to Washington, D.C., with Luna.
We caught the first heatwave of the summer in D.C. However, the high temperatures couldn't overshadow the city's cleanliness, tidiness, and spaciousness. We were surprised at the beautiful Freedom Dome inside the U.S. Capitol, stunned by the Library of Congress, and dazzled by the various exhibits in the museums.
I woke up early to watch the sunrise at the Tidal Basin. The warm summer breeze blew across the lake as the sun slowly rose behind the Washington Monument. At dusk, I wandered near the Capitol, where the sunset cast a warm, shallow orange glow. Despite the heat, it was hard not to appreciate the beauty of summer.
I am happy to have added the fourth city to my travel map in the U.S.!
