@@meghanadontireddy6002 FR! The fact she posted at all is incredible! Like she has no free time as it is and is using what she has to edit/film a video for UA-cam. Med school is intense af especially in another country where you are learning a new language and culture along with their medicine. I’m in awe of her rn
@@G23417 exactly. being in med school and being able to upload such videos is fabulous. and plus less is more. if she starts uploading daily, then we wouldn't wanna watch the videos anymore since they would become repetitive or we'll just stop valuing them as much.
@@Arhan-c3w This is a really important point too! She could post more, but get fewer views on each video. That means that when she posts less, but gets more views like she does now, then she spends less time and energy to get the same viewership. People are asking for more, but in reality, most of her subscribers would not watch every single video if she posted very often.

As a student preparing for medical school exam it's really nice to see your videos and remind myself that I'm gonna be in the same place one day too! Thankyou for documenting your journey and being such a big inspiration!

You can eat outside, but it is more the walking AND eating together part that is frowned upon. The term "ichigyo-zammai" means full concentration of a single act at once, to be in the moment. And also, if you are not walking and eating, then there is less chance of bumping into someone and making a mess, which goes back to the ichigyo-zammai. Also...they see all meals the same, like you wouldn't walk around with a bowl of Lasagne, so you also wouldn't walk around with a sandwich (yes I realise a sandwich is designed better to be handheld), but the concept of meals is the point. Then lastly....this is more a practical point, because there is a lack of public bins, if you don't walk and eat, then you wouldn't generate rubbish on the go and then you don't have to carry it around with it. Buy then eat it at the place of purchase, there usually will be a bin there where you bought it.
the concept of a meal is to be eaten, japan already has obsession with drinking culture now they demand you sit down to eat? lmao
@@Xmeagol and yes, especially if you have a hot drink, try not walk and drink at the same time. Be considerate. And same practical point regarding not bumping into someone with a hot drink and no rubbish generated still apply just the same. Just stand still for 1 second, take a sip and move.
But if you do walk and eat, no one is going to arrest you, but you will get stares.

@@RaymondwLin It's far less true for drinking than eating though - especially in summer, it's not really considered that rude to drink (water) & walk. It's more if you're shovelling a burger down your throat while chatting w friends and walking surely

@@NihadNinata I feel bad for Zeliha bc of these comments. She'll be busy in the future bc medical residents work absurd hours(some shifts over 24 hrs) with little time to eat & sleep. We're NOT ENTITLED to her time and energy to film. Zeliha needs to take care of herself foremost. Consider her needs because she's likely disheartened by all these comments saying this video is not enough.

I am Japanese. In Japan, eating and drinking on trains and in public places is considered bad manners. Eating and drinking while walking is also considered bad manners.
But it saves a lot of time,
And what if someone is getting late? 😅

In Türkiye, also eating outside isn’t welcomed by tradition. Elders says, other people can see you eating and maybe they don’t have enough money to get food and they want it so don’t eat while anybody can see you like walking or on public transport. But nowadays this tradition nearly comes to an end. For me and for the younger gen its not a thing we take in consideration too much. If i got a sandwich and while sitting in the bus with 2-3 people can see me and sandwich doesn’t smells bad then its ok to eat. Lots of people eats simit (like beagle) on the way.
