Probably, testing an O2 sensor, Cam/Crank correlation, Can Bus signals using the Breakout Box ect..ect...
It would be great and helpful for some beginers!
Did you test the BaroScope to see the intake/exhaust valves?

Hi Jim. What size is the allen key?
Great video. I wish it was a tip on how to address a broken blend door on the same vehicle. I got that job in yesterday and I don't want to get involved in a full day dash removal. The A/C jobs are showing up in New York.
Hey Jim saw your sight link from Eric O SMA. I've a DYI that's been spinning wrenches for myself and friends for 40+ years. Going broke buying tools you guys show off. Just kidding. love learning new tips and tricks from you all's sites. Keep up the videos/
Eric O from SMA is a very nice guy and a great mechanic.Welcome Bill
@@jimthecarguy He's only 4 hours away from me. I keep wanting to go up and meet him. He's helped me on a WUW on advice of a Scan tool. I have GM Tech 2 but was looking for a tool for all makes. I ended up buying a Launch X431 pro. So far I love it .
Bill Ziegmond were are you located. I'm in New Jersey about 4-5 hr away from Eric
I am near Pittsburgh Scanner Dahner territory. lol
You can never have enough brake videos, thanks.
I'm happy to help.
Very good Jim! One thing I would have liked for you to check was when you pressed the Pistons back in the calipers sometimes it overfills the master cylinder with brake fluid, and it can cause brake fluid spillage. Have a good one Jim. Tom
Do some people open the bleeder a little bit so some of the brake fluid comes out when the piston moves back, then when the job is about finished some fresh new fluid can be put into the master cylinder reservoir? Is the brake fluid inside the caliper dirtier than the rest of the system?
@davidpowell3347 not worth it, air could possible get in there if it's not done correctly , let the master over flow a little it won't bother it , sometimes if I remember I'll take the cap off , for fear of damaging the cap rubber seal , but I never had a problem with one getting damaged , it's rare .. and I've done it everyway you can think of ..
cool vid
I'm happy to help.
thanks Jim for entering me into the Contest . sick and tired of using my dirty ,greasy, phone as a camera instead of a borescope ;- )

Greetings from New York!
The rust on that jeep looks like it spent some time in the rust belt. Lol
I'm happy to help. Watch for the next free tool giveaway coming soon.
Do you find that Chrysler products are in your shop more than any other make? Even for brakes due to poor quality of mopar parts.
No not really they are not to bad.
Another enjoyable video. In your last few videos I've seen that you had to deal with rusty stuff. In your channel description I can't see where you're located. What state are you in?
I'm in New Jersey. I'm happy to help. Watch for the next free tool giveaway coming soon.
NIce, Illinois!
Ur like my neighbor who knows everything about my Jeep 👍
Minnesota
Hey Jim the car guy. You told us to come over and comment for the giveaway. I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a while I take pictures and videos of the sky. So I’m definitely interested in the giveaway. If not thanks for your helpful videos.
I did my brakes after this video

My hat’s off to you rust belt mechanics. I would starve to death working in all that crusty crap all day
I was just watching your video about you changing out the rear brakes on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I noticed when you removed the rotor the parking brake shoes were completely destroyed from normal use however you never mentioned them or replaced them in the video. The shoes are behind the axle and inside the rotor. (Pad in a Hat) Why not replace them when you have the rotor off?
Actually the shoes were in good condition. The parking brake shoes are thinner than normal brakes. Thanks for your input.
Hi Jim, can you post a link to the tool you use at 10:20 ? Thank you
Bryan Lamontagne it’s a brake pad spreader. There’s various different ones on the market. Your local auto parts store will have something similar in stock. They range from really cheap to expensive
chris parenti thank you Chris, yes I have the one from Cornwall, but I like the style of this one and was hoping he had a link where to find it.
That was great advice from Chris. The tool that I was using is made by Snap on tools
@@jimthecarguy Thank you Jim, and thank you again Chris.
Great job Jim. You know I am from PA! Thanks for all you do!
Nice video. Thanks.
I'm happy to help.
Was that one of Eric’s customers? I know he’ll be jealous 😜
From California
Hahaha it was rusty enough.
Whoa, those rotors were shot!
Yes to the junk pile for sure. Thanks for watching.
Greetings from Ohio Jim. Thanks for all your effort.
T45 or 47 Torx bit, not hex but we get it
That you for your input and for watchng.
My 2003 WJ has 7mm hex(Allen) caliper pins/bolts. Try that first.
With the bright background and dark parts i cant see anything

What should I get charged for this? Me buying the parts..? Just need a comparison to know if I’m getting played for being a female.
Unreal. I keep watching videos showing that fucking spring just sliding into place. Pads took 5 minutes and I'm about 2 hrs into trying get that fucking clip into place. Good luck
Thanks for watching. That spring can be a real pita for sure.
MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU LEAVE A COMMENT PUT WHAT STATE IN THE U.S.A YOU LIVE.
This is my comment. I try to live in Vermont. It will be nice to look at my rust with a camera.
