If you do these videos to show flaws, and someone still complains, they are just that needy, that can’t be fixed. You do an amazing job, and us normal people know that.
I had one in '80 black on silver with the red decals on the doors saying official pace car . Total chick magnet at the time all the little disco bunnies wanted to take a ride in it. I come out of work one night and it was gone from the parking lot and never seen again. And I had to go back to the 61 Impala super sport convertible as a daily diver because, my 66 GTO was in the shop getting new main bearing she was having oil pressure issues. Thanks for the memory it was a fun ride.
Nick, my brother, I’ve followed your videos off and on for a couple of years then finally subscribed about a year ago when I started looking for a project car, and this would be a good one, for me and my daughter and grandson. Her son is 13 and needs to disconnect if you know what I mean. My daughter is a car girl and I need to get back to wrenching as rehab for back surgery. I watch a lot of car lot videos and your videos are the Gold Standard by which all others should ascribe to meet. Some lots have very similar formats, but they don’t come across as genuine or honest. You can see the difference in the quality of cars on the lots and the overpricing. Some seem to have decent prices only the vehicle is not worth the price posted. Others have horrible customer service. When you call, you get the third degree, not that rosy dialog from the videos. When I have called Maple Motors, I have been treated respectfully and with the attention required for the questions I asked. I have no reason to believe that you or your family business of 40+ years is operating a scam or defrauding operation. As an Air Force Veteran and Mustang with over 20+ years service I have met all kinds of people from all over the world and have a good eye/ear for a person that is misrepresenting themselves. You my friend are the real deal. I sense a walk with Christ and I believe that drives your business ethos. As a Christian I can usually see Christ in others and feel like you are a believer. Great car for the money! Where else you going to get a decent, nice running Vette for under 12k? All the stuff wrong is easy to fix. Somebody is getting a deal.
I love all your cars I have my original Corvette I got it when I was sixteen years old and I still have but all cars have problems and there is none perfect and most people this the old cars that have been rebuilt and frame off restoration they are not even perfect they are cars and they do brake down and give problems even when you test drive them you even see that yourself the body is never perfect and they do have paint problems or chips even the horn don't work something in them but you try your best to sale the car you do not sale lemons you sale what comes in on your lot and you have a lot of fun with them
Loved the RANT. Like to hear more of the behind the scenes and back stories!!!! I'm not even shopping for classic anymore but still watch your videos every week "the lot walk" because I love the old classics.
Another great Corvette needs some work on the window rails if you know what you doing it should be no problem front suspension needs a little work and some reupholster the dashboard I see no rust , because the price is right 👍

In 1980, I had a used 79 Vette, and it's speedometer didn't work either. No wonder the miles are low. Looks like nobody fixed speedometer, ever.
You Run a very fare Business! If someone buys a Classic off of anybody it is what it is! There is Never a service plane with a Classic car off of a individual seller! And in Most cases off of any dealership,you take time to make excellent videos and show way more to any one person than they would find on there own! You even take the time to show the under half of the vehicle as well some people just need something to complain about there never happy! please keep up the excellent Business and I can almost bet at some point I'll be buying a car or two off of you as well

Do you check tire pressures before you test drive? Turning the battery off instead of finding the draw on it seems a bit crappy in a way.
My uncle had a mid70s red vette factory 454c.i. 4-sod, side pipes car.. (his then wife wouldn’t drive it because, it was a 4-spd) ..ya’know his crazyass went and traded that car off to a ’80 white vette 350c.i. (auto) ..and She still wouldn’t Drive It.. after talking him into trading his 60k 454c.I.. side pipes.. factory 4-spd vette Off.. I told the man not to trade it Off! 🤝🏼💯

Corvette pricing is so odd, you can find C3's, C4's and early C5's all similarly priced and from 1972 - 1992 they were pure ass unless someone plucked out the boat anchor and reworked it.
Seems peppier than the red one you just tested.

That’s the stock wheel you got without the tilt telescope option no leather wrap from 77-79. Or the 76 Vega wheel for all options of said year. That’s stock OEM, not a replacement. Fun facts for c3s.

people that don't understand classic cars should never get into them. anyone that thinks they are not going to spend time working on these should never get one or have enough to pay a mechanic on a regular basis.
Make sure you get the AAA with the 4 tows per year!! Went to a show with my 80 Trans Am and the brake cylinder locked up. Had it towed home. Next show I took my 78 Corvette and the fan belt broke right as I was getting to the show. Could have fixed that there but had it towed home. Two tows in two weeks!

The power windows on the 1970’s decade of Corvettes are a mixed bag of crazy. An electrical / trim auto mechanic can put the windows into the frames and replace the rubberized track parts that keep mud dirt and things not good out of the window tracks.
