I just tinted my white 16 STI 50%. It's actually darker than I was expecting. I have always had 35% and 20% tint on all of my cars and decided to do something a bit different. Love the vids. Keep them coming!
Yeah, the contrast against the white paint will do that. I had 35% in my last vehicle, which was black, and it didn't do it for me.
+ElsaSTI can't wait to see what exhaust you decide on if you end up doing that. Currently in the same spot debating stock vs aftermarket. The two I am considering are Cobb & Invidia q300. Want something not too loud, but brings out that rumble. Then maybe Cobb downpipe and stage 2.
+Scott Colontonio I'm running a Nameless muffler delete axleback at the moment. It's an awesome exhaust. No drone, great sound and I can feather the throttle to make it quiet when needed. The welds are also beautiful, I highly recommend Nameless, but a muffler delete gets crazy loud when you add a catless downpipe.
+ElsaSTI ah I didn't know you already added that. Nameless is definitely one that has been on my radar. Been watching loads of UA-cam videos trying to compare the sound of each. Good to hear you are happy with it.

I have 5% on mine, and love it. Though 20% is a great choice! I personally went 5% because I drive mostly during the day. Looks good man. Will have to meet up one of these days. SpeediRoo is a great shop too.

I'm in Minnesota and my 07 grand prix gxp was tinted were only 4 percent light was getting in.. I loved the look but it was to dark at night and I got a 135 dollar ticket :/ we can have pecent light coming in or more so it sucks.. my car is grey to

Hey Elsa….nice to watch a new video from you. I'm the guy who cannot decide between a 2016 STI and the FINAL EDITION EVO. Well, I just made a decision and just bought the 2016 STi same color as yours. It looks great. I'm so happy. Anyways, I have a question. Factory exhaust is alright but, still silent on the subie rumble. I know you have the nameless exhaust. Does that void your warranty since its an aftermarket? I'm thinking of just putting the STi performance exhaust so no problem with the dealer giving me problem later. What's your take on these two exhaust? Nameless VS. Sti performance exhaust. All I'm after is the rumble. Thank you.
+Robert Ocampo No, a Nameless axleback won't void your warranty. I've heard the STi exhaust drones a little and it's not that loud. If you're staying stock for awhile the Nameless axleback muffler delete is perfect in every way. If you plan on going with a catless downpipe fairly quickly you might want to get the 4" mufflers.
+ElsaSTI which comes to my next question……what is a drone? I'm thinking smokes? No? I really don't want a loud exhaust. Just enough to wake up the sound ( rumble ) a little more than what the stock STi has now.
+Robert Ocampo Drone is tough to explain, but let's try. When your cruising down the highway with your foot lightly on the throttle to maintain speed-- if you can hear a constant "bWAHHHHHHHH" from your exhaust-- that's drone. Most people find it annoying, especially on longer drives. The Nameless doesn't do that at all. It only comes alive and rumble as you press the throttle and increase the revs. When I'm on the highway I can barely notice any sound from the exhaust at all.

I just asked for a price quote not including labor charges for the OEM STi performance exhaust and the parts guy told me it will cost $1600. That is ridiculous. Installation is $200. Grand total of $1800 plus tax. I cannot dispense $1800 just for a damn exhaust. I guess it looks like Nameless for me then since it is popular for 2015-2016 STi and WRX's. The problem is no shops here never heard of Nameless. If I order it online I don't trust myself to install it. I know they say its so simple and easy to install. The other problem is….since Nameless is aftermarket…the dealer can pin me later if my car gets performance problem. How do you like your exhaust now? Better sound than stock right?
+Robert Ocampo Way better than stock. It won't void your warranty, it's not a performance part as it doesn't change the tune.
Installing the axleback is super easy. It took me 20 minutes and a few simple tools.
