After have driven one of these i can tell you that it should do way more than 165, i did 150 and it was still pulling hard, the LT1 with the 10 speed is such a good combo, is so fast!
SS are limited to 180mph. LT1 have slightly better aerodynamics. Therefore with the right tires it can hit 180mph
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 I hit 185 GPS on the Autobahn recently (Speedo showed 187), so it is possible. It took a bit though. Realistically I'd say that 180 is the SS's top speed.

@@yamayamz590 Actually I have not gotten it yet! It's been built and sent by train to a rail yard in my state, but it's been there for about 3 weeks now. Waiting on car carrier delivery trucks to pick it up and bring it to my dealership. I have event code 4800 for the last few weeks. I'm a patient man, but I am getting kinda anxious now!

I went to the dealership today for a test drive. Turns out there was a mix up, the guy online told me I can test drive it but he didn't know that the car wasn't outside but inside the showroom. Because of that I never got to actually drive it. They let me sit in it and start the engine. I put my right foot on the pedal and pressed the button. From the moment I pressed it, I fell in love. I want to car so bad that it hurts. I'm so close to being able to buy it.

Visibility is hardly ever an issue. Have had my SS for 16 months now.
Honestly I just put my mirrors into an angle where I can see the side of my car and the lane next to me(as much as I possibly can) but I hardly ever have a problem with visibility

You'll love it. My wife and I own a Challenger, and my mom has a 6th gen SS Vert. Even with it weighing ~4200 pounds the thing is damn quick for a stock car.

Great video 👍 how's the visibility in your opinion? I can imagine it hasn't gotten much better; probably still one of the least desired. That's one of my main knocks on the Camaro along with the cramped space.
Thanks! Visibility is still terrible, yea. Even if you have blind spot monitoring, it's still annoying not to be able to see over your shoulder. Tiny windows, high belt line, and the passenger headrest is right in your line of sight.
I didn’t know they sold these until they had one on the lot the week after I bought my 2.0 turbo literally only 2,000 more than what I paid 🤦🏻♂️😂 if I had known I would’ve bought it no question

Depends on the engine you choose. Non-turbocharged versions don’t need premium. If you put regular (87 octane) gas, you just won’t get the maximum available performance. It won’t hurt the engine

I got the LT1 for one reason. Modifies unlife the other Canaria the lt1 let’s you put more mods than the others
I am most likely getting a 2ss 1le but price wise you can’t really beat an lt1 if you find them on sale. Light weight and so much power, only downside is not enough rubber to put the power down.

I only had a day with this one, but I love the fact that Chevy offers its V8 without all the expensive add-on creature comforts. This engine, combined with the Camaro's great chassis makes for an excellent sports car. The styling isn't my favorite, though.
How are the blind spots on it?
The windows are very narrow and the seat pillar is pretty large, so visibility is pretty bad.

Chevy did an amazing job with the Camaro’s chassis. The handling is seriously impressive (especially for a muscle car). Steering feel is good as well

Bought 2021 Camaro LT1 brand new on Friday......on Tuesday the damn thing left me stranded on the side of the hwy. Engine cut off and all the electronics shut down. Dealership has had the car for 2 days now and still haven't figured out what the issue is. The car has 300 miles on it and has caused me more headaches than any car I've ever owned! Ugh
And i just got a call from the dealer, engine needs to be replaced at 300 miles. They said some type of spring broke and caused a cylinder to bend

It really depends on what you want from a car. If you just want safety and reliability, Toyota does an incredible job. If you want pure excitement, Dodge knows how to offer that with almost all of their models. If you want refined handling, it's hard to beat Porsche on the high end and Mazda on the affordable end. If you want the best all-around value, Hyundai and Kia are killing it. If you want class-leading technology, Audi and BMW have some really cool stuff.

I see why Chevy Is discontuing the camaro...it.stopped looking like a camaro and more like a "generic Chevy coupe"......
All the other muscle cars have a "unique look to them" than the other cars in their brand "family".
